A plan is typically any diagram or list of steps with timing and resources, used to achieve an objective. See also strategy. It is commonly understood as a temporal set of intended actions through which one expects to achieve a goal. For spatial or planar topologic or topographic sets see map.
Plans can be formal or informal:
The most popular ways to describe plans are by their breadth, time frame, and specificity; however, these planning classifications are not independent of one another. For instance, there is a close relationship between the short- and long-term categories and the strategic and operational categories.
It is common for less formal plans to be created as abstract ideas, and remain in that form as they are maintained and put to use. More formal plans as used for business and military purposes, while initially created with and as an abstract thought, are likely to be written down, drawn up or otherwise stored in a form that is accessible to multiple people across time and space. This allows more reliable collaboration in the execution of the plan.

Miranda Leigh Shelton (née Lambert) (born November 10, 1983) is an American country music artist who gained fame as a finalist on the 2003 season of Nashville Star, where she finished in third place and later signed to Epic Records. Lambert made her debut with the release of "Me and Charlie Talking", the first single from her 2005 debut album Kerosene. This album, which was certified Platinum in the United States, also produced the singles "Bring Me Down", "Kerosene", and "New Strings". All four singles were Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.
After Epic's Nashville division closed, Lambert was transferred to Columbia Records Nashville for her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which was released in early 2007. Although the title track failed to make top 40, the next three singles ("Famous in a Small Town", "Gunpowder & Lead", and "More Like Her") were all Top 20 hits, with "Gunpowder & Lead" becoming her first Top 10 country hit in July 2008. Lambert's third album, Revolution, was released in September 2009. Five singles have been released from the album, including Lambert's two Number One hits "The House That Built Me," which spent four weeks at the top of the chart, and "Heart Like Mine". Lambert has also been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards.
Burn it down till the embers smoke on the ground
And start new when your heart is an empty room
With walls of the deepest blue
Home's face: how it ages when you're away
Spring blooms and you find the love that's true
But you don't know what now to do
Cause the chase is all you know
And she stopped running months ago
And all you see
Is where else you could be
When you're at home
Out on the street
Are so many possibilities
To not be alone
The flames and smoke climbed out of every window
And disappeared with everything that you held dear
And you shed not a single tear for the things that you didn't need
'Cause you knew you were finally free
'Cause all you see is where else you could be when you're at home
Out on the street are so many possibilities to not be alone
And all you see is where else you could be
When you're at home
There on the street are so many possibilities to not be alone
Well, I followed you that time
Things that touched me slipped my mind
If you help me then I'll try and I'll believe you
I need time, could you explain?
I've been caught up in my pain
And it's really not the same, you can see it
I got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
I got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
I can't filter what I want
See my face and see the cost
All that's good that just got tossed and I keep waiting
And I don't know what to drink
I get twisted everything
I need you to see me sing, can you believe it?
I got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
I got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
I know you do, I know you do
I know you do
I know you do, I know you do
I know you do, I know you do
Now I know you came
Now I know you know my name
Don't let me be the same
Well, I followed you for years
I've got pain and I've got fears
Then there's moments when it clears and I've been waiting
I got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
I've got nothing left to be
Do you have some plans for me?
Do you have some plans for me?
I know you do, I know you do
I know you do
I know you do, I know you do
I know you do, I know you do
For me, for me, for me, for me
Brush your hair to some Eurodisco trash
Two prophelactics and forty-five dollars cash
Corduroy jacket and some fifty buck shoes
That can lead like a lamp when they're a scrubbing up new
Sunday best on a Friday night alright
I'll meet you at the corner beneath the Goodyear foot sign
Where all dates are made by mobile
I'll send you a smoke signal just be there by nine
This smoke, I left it for you
To show Mum and Dad your new tattoo alright
So they're my plans, how'd they fit with you?
There's a streetlight for each night your heart hit the deck
This drink says I love you, this drink says I couldn't care less
Kiss me so I know I'm alive
The drinks taste crap but they keep coming til five
Numbers on the wall, I got my ears like a shell
The phone stinks of chips, cheap wine, mouthwash and gel
C'mon we'll drink the last of the rent
And I'll leave my number right down on the strap of your dress
And it's late, and she's Sue
Cos I read it on the back of her boyfriends neck alright
So they're my plans, how'd they fit with you?
Yeah, I had a plan, but how'd it fit with you?
Wake up dreamer
It's happening without you
Cut your hair and shave your beard
You squandered your chances
I'll give you a thousand pounds
To show me how you do it
Stop being so laissez-faire
We're all scared of the future
Been training vipers to come for you
In your dreams to release you
Been training vipers to come for you
In your sleep
And the ravens are leaving the tower
And the ravens are leaving the tower
Make your peace
I've got a taste for blood
Leave the weak, leave the young
I've got a taste for blood
I'm walking out without you
You will kill or be killed
It's about progress
I've got a taste for blood
Wake up sleepyhead
It's happening without you
Such a nice guy
You tell me everything twice
Whipcrack speed jump
We will run backwards
Stop being so laissez-faire
We're all scared of the future
We make plans for big times
Get bogged down, distracted
We make plans for good times
All neon, all surface
So kiss me before it all gets complicated
why do I fell like I'm almost old
I didn't want to ever let you down
once we could talk about anything
you started moving out
out of my reach
and I never felt so alone like that before
and I waited for you to call
and tell me to be strong
but you got so cold
or bold enough to turn to my tuning face
and everytime you would look at me that way
I couldn't speak
I couldn't say anything
I watch the leaves change in the fall
I didnt notice this before
you walked away when I wanted you then
to come and take me out
maybe we could try again
cause there were still things tha I wanted to say
but I was so young
Covered our bodies with covering
Cause actions reacted on before thoughts had enough time
Ponder questions that keep harboring
Your light hearted visits seem to weigh heavy on my mind
But don't look back on me
Though being ahead brings pity
I know you're a lot less guilty than you seem
But rest assure the ground on which you stand will be shaken
Plans are always perfect when you make them
Lights off
We swim in the ocean
We're floating west I'm not sure if those were the intentions
And somewhere someone swears the numbers will wear ??
Then ? and ?? when the numbers will end
But don't look back on me
Though being ahead brings pity
I know you're a lot less guilty than you seem
But rest assure the ground on which you stand will be shaken
Plans are always perfect when you make them
Oh if every child becomes their dreams
And lovers remain married
And every flower blooms perfectly
And you never grew away from me
Wouldn't that make it easy
Wouldn't the stars align so clearly
If we could control the objects that we see
Wouldn't our stories have ? fall and gains
If what we hope for is what we're controlling
Oh if every child becomes their dreams
And lovers remain married
And every flower blooms perfectly
And you never grew away from me
Lately
I'm gettin the impression
That my baby
Is moving down to LA
For the big lights
Flashing and reflecting
In her big eyes
Hey nothing here could make her stay
Everybody's got to have plans,
she said
Everybody's got to have plans,
Cos I can't see you smiling pumping gas
Some low life
B-movie producer
And his Big talk
Now dont you go buy into that
Cos sometimes
Things are gonna get tough
And you know what
You're gonna have to get tough too
Everybody's got to have plans,
she said
Everybody's got to have plans,
Cos I can't see you smiling pumping gas
Everybody's got to have plans,
she said
Everybody's got to have plans,
Cos I can't see you smiling pumping gas
So come home, baby, baby
Just don't phone, baby, baby
Yeah you went and did it
You broke my heart (Hold, hold, hold me now)
Everybody's got to have plans,
she said
Everybody's got to have plans,
Cos I can't see you smiling pumping gas
We make plans to kiss the sun at night
Hopeless dreamers, hopeless times
Shedding skin, you show your beauty scars
Don't forget me or who you are
You know, this don't feel right
Who knows what we feel?
I just met you, I can read your thoughts
What they tell me is what I want
I'll keep you guessing
Keep you wanting more
'Cause where we're going
No one knows
Hey now, you know, this don't feel right
Who knows? This could feel right
See I just met you, I swear I read your thoughts
So don't forget me or what you want
Light up the stage, make your move
Give me something
So I can dance in your light
And to your rhythm
Soon it unfolds who we are
In this masquerade of stars
Tear off the mask
The face you hide is what I'm missing
We make plans to kiss the sun at night
Hopeless dreamers, hopeless times
One was turning, one was standing still
I won't forget what was promised here
You know, this don't feel right
Covered our bodies with covering
Cause actions reacted on before thoughts had enough time
Ponder questions that keep harboring
Your light hearted visits seem to weigh heavy on my mind
But don't look back on me
Though being ahead brings pity
I know you're a lot less guilty than you seem
But rest assure the ground on which you stand will be shaken
Plans are always perfect when you make them
Lights off
We swim in the ocean
We're floating west I'm not sure if those were the intentions
And somewhere someone swears the numbers will wear ??
Then ? and ?? when the numbers will end
But don't look back on me
Though being ahead brings pity
I know you're a lot less guilty than you seem
But rest assure the ground on which you stand will be shaken
Plans are always perfect when you make them
Oh if every child becomes their dreams
And lovers remain married
And every flower blooms perfectly
And you never grew away from me
Wouldn't that make it easy
Wouldn't the stars align so clearly
If we could control the objects that we see
Wouldn't our stories have ? fall and gains
If what we hope for is what we're controlling
Oh if every child becomes their dreams
And lovers remain married
And every flower blooms perfectly
And you never grew away from me
See I know you've got your plans
About your life and how to live it
You want two different things
But it's getting hard to pivot
A steady life but such a bore
Or take a risk for something more
What kind of life would you like to be livin'?
You know I've got my plans
But they're getting risky
Gone for months and months
So you'll really start to miss me
And when I'm on the road
That's when I need you the most
At the end of the day I just need to have you with me
Sometimes life gets hard
When you miss somebody but they're too far
And it's sad cause no one has our back
But one thing's for sure
The more they tell us no,
The more we'll try to make it work.
Our plans keep on changin'
As we're growing older
I try so very hard
To keep to all the things I told her
And when I lose hope
That's when I need her the most
At the end of the day I just gotta hold her
Sometimes life gets hard
When you miss somebody but they're too far
And it's sad cause no one has our back
But one thing's for sure
The more they tell us no,
The more we'll try to make it work.
A different city every night, it's okay,
I find the longer I'm without you,
The more I'm all about you
A different city always gets in the way
I find the longer I'm without you,
The more I'm all about you
I'll never lose hope,
I'll always need you the most
And when I get home
Just need to hold you, just need to hold you.
Sometimes life gets hard
When you miss somebody but they're too far
And it's sad cause no one has our back
But one thing's for sure
The more they tell us no,
The more we'll try to make it work.
I thought I had it all mapped out
Where to go, and how to get there
But I guess we're just as lost as before.
Just look at all we've had
And all the time that's passed
We're going nowhere fast
So it seems we're stuck in place,
But who's to say we won't escape?
CHORUS
What if we could throw our plans away?
Risk it all on what we're dreaming
I don't see a reason why we should wait.
I will let you lead the way
With all the chances we are taking,
Well I, I don't wanna be the reason that we stay.
Why stay?
Thought you had it figured out,
What you wanted, how to find it,
But I still don't know what we're looking for.
Just look at all we've lost,
And all the time it's cost,
Is this a hopeless cause?
So it seems we're stuck in place,
But who's to say we won't escape?
CHORUS
Why Stay?
I don't see a reason
Why stay?
Risk it all on what we're dreaming
So it seems we're stuck in place,
But who's to say we won't escape?
CHORUS
Why stay?
I don't see a reason why,
So why stay?
Why stay?
Hey,
So you think that you're right and you're original?
So you think that you're tight?
But you're a typical cynical individual whimsical
To the take,
But never give at all?
You're fucking miserable ways are going to kill us all!
But now I'm the cynic
And your best response to this shit is
Is this it?
In it I give a moral
You fucking bin it.
Been there, done that,
but sorry geez I live in it.
Ans I understand the complexities within it.
The whole thing is:
Do as I say not what I do.
I don't think I care that much to follow through.
So join the queue,
fuck that shit
I'll follow you.
But don't you think that you're big because you're dependable!
Or is it something you like just being sensible.
Constable cool!
Logic to the rule,
frowning aloud at the clowning around of a fool!
Life can be so damn fine
If you let loose a little
Pressure builds up inside,
We must escape the middle.
Escape through both extremes;
Deep dreams to hallucinogenic riddles.
My way seeks no ways peace
Like I said,
We all lean from the middle.
[(solo)]
Life can be so damn fine
If you let loose a little
Pressure builds up inside,
We must escape the middle.
Escape through both extremes;
Deep dreams to hallucinogenic riddles.
My way seeks no ways peace
Like I said,
We all lean from the middle.
Hey,
Soul-searchers and Shadow-lurkers;
Two side of the white line.
Giving the last respects to my city before it unwinds.
Peoples,
Who are trying to be better that equals put the pressure up.
Battles,
People shaking their rattles and putting flags up.
The federals are
Cowards abusing the power for the people to wrack(?) up.
But the people are wrapped up
but it's taking time for the people to stand up
Because time and time again
The people who are right are put in a round up.
Their theories are bound up
So fuck my rights
I'm tearing the ground up!
The big and the bad,
the bold, the best.
They're taking control of the situation,
Blunt knives will help you confess.
You try to run and just like the rest...
They're taking their guns
Filling them with arms
And will a boom!
Taking out your chest.
I'm making a statement
And paving my way through time.
Rhymes are just a medium
Lives are on the line.
If you relate the things that you see
To the things that you think.
You might be overwhelmed by the stench of the city
stink?
Supposedly our race is enlightened
By that alone,
Shit! I'm frightened
I double dare any fucker who wants to put that in writing!
The clouds are swelling,
Thunderstorms are dwelling,
Eletrical static tension's inventing lightening provisions.
This is pre-superstition.
They're day to day fucking vision.
Ashok is for telling division
Resulting in blood collisions
What?
Ninety five open your eyes and realise
That people die and people live their lives living lies
But...
Life can be so damn fine
If you let loose a little
Pressure builds up inside,
We must escape the middle.
Escape through both extremes;
Deep dreams to hallucinogenic riddles.
My way seeks no ways peace
Like I said,
We all lean from the middle.
Life can be so damn fine, oh!
If you let loose a little
Pressure builds up inside,
We must escape the middle.
Escape through both extremes;
Deep dreams to hallucinogenic riddles.
My way seeks no ways peace
Like I said,
We all lean from the middle.
