The Star Wars sequel trilogy was a reportedly planned trilogy of films (Episodes VII, VIII and IX) by Lucasfilm as a series of sequels to the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV, V and VI) released between 1977 and 1983. While the similarly discussed Star Wars prequel trilogy (Episodes I, II and III) was ultimately released between 1999 and 2005, Lucasfilm and George Lucas have for many years denied plans of making a sequel trilogy, insisting that Star Wars is meant to be a six-part series.
The original Star Wars film drew inspiration from early Hollywood film serials like Flash Gordon, in which each individual episode was part of a larger series.Nicholas Wapshott, film reviewer for The Times, wrote in 1980 that "George Lucas's conception of Star Wars was of a single episode in an unmade serial." The framing of Star Wars, opening with scrolled writing, and the immediate insertion of the audience into the action are seen by Wapshott as references to a broader storyline which does not ultimately need to exist. Wapshott claimed that Lucas had not planned to make any more of the movies, but he had adopted the serial structure as "part of a larger conceit in which Lucas filled his feature with cinematic allusions." However, in the famous 1977 Rolling Stone interview, George Lucas was clearly talking sequels, a lot of them: "I think the sequels will be much, much better. What I want to do is direct the last sequel. I could do the first one and the last one and let everyone else do the ones in between."
Star Wars is an American epic space opera film series created by George Lucas. The first film in the series was originally released on May 25, 1977, under the title Star Wars, by 20th Century Fox, and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon, followed by two sequels, released at three-year intervals. Sixteen years after the release of the trilogy's final film, the first in a new prequel trilogy of films was released. The three films were also released at three-year intervals, with the final film released on May 19, 2005.
Currently, the overall box office revenue generated by the Star Wars films has totaled at $4.49 billion, making it the third-highest-grossing film series, behind only the Harry Potter and James Bond films.
The Star Wars film series has spawned a media franchise including books, television series, video games, and comic books. These supplements to the film trilogies comprise the Star Wars Expanded Universe, and have resulted in significant development of the series' fictional universe. These media kept the franchise going in the interim between the film trilogies. In 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars was released to theaters as the first-ever worldwide theatrical Star Wars film outside of the main trilogies. It was the franchise's first animated film, and was intended as an introduction to the Expanded Universe television series of the same name, a 3D CGI animated series based on a previous 2D animated series of a similar name.

Yeah, yeah, yo, yeah, yeah
For niggaz up in they mom's crib listenin'
To this unadulterated Nas shit wishin' it was then
Instead a, me on this track on this beach with palm trees
Drinks with umbrellas straws telling it raw
Jungle of concrete killers and snakes I was amongst that
Bundles of crack through this funnel that's black
I want you to vision through my telescope see the hell I wrote
It's Reynolds when I wrap it like a envelope package
And they would send the dope back then
Numbers, pimpin' and robbin', well, they still robbin' and pimpin'
But it's small change compare to hip hoppin'
And did I mention millions because of lip poppin'
Trips expensive gift shoppin' whip drivin'
Benz's, Jeeps, see, them and they bitch got one
It's shockin' you thinkin' naw it's just rhymin'
But all this time it's like organized crimin'
For instance there was a time when there was a line
Between streets and business but now peep how it's mixed in
The beef is now sickenin', everybody got paper
Words of power because of it the cops hate ya
The government watchin' all of those who thuggin' it
They wanna lock us up cause they kids are lovin' it
Not knowin' that most rappers are straight ass
The shots ring out, whenever we clash it's Star Wars
We call it Star Wars
What happens when the shots ring out, Star Wars
We call it Star Wars
Caviar never, I rather the Cajun blacken
Catfish no snails simple nigga to please
Met a bad bitch dimples in her cheeks
She remembers Busy B battles when it was peace
Caught myself driftin' in thought 'cause now it's different I thought
Niggaz was raised off the shit I record
Like I was brought up off that Planet Rock
Kurtis Blow, James Todd Smith, Shannon Scott, LaRock in the jams
Why would they fuck with a don, Jehovah witness
Him and his co-defendants, I eat 'em like Lucky Charms
With two percent low fat milk, five percent pro black built
It's nothin' mother had a motherfucker
I don't think about it niggaz talkin' there's a lot of gossip
That I'm a prophet or I can't go back to my projects
Can I? Does a plant grow from a plant yes
Do trees grow from a forest MC's y'all are clitoris
Y'all niggaz roll with any click that's winnin' any crew
Doin' whatever's trendy, even they leave me too
Ain't enough room in this town
What is beef between ghetto word spitters with crowns, Star Wars
'Cause this is Star Wars, shots ring out everywhere, Star Wars
'Cause this is Star Wars, shots ring out
This ain't no Oscars or MTV, or Joan Rivers fashion police
Not what you read in tabloid seats
These are MC's that live by the code, it's hard for me to spit it
Because the game was supposed to be sold we livid
Came from the streets we the voice of the youth
America's nightmare was given a the mic booth
Nike boots, leathers and jean, jewelry, cribs and cars
Rappers not dependin' on your nine to five jobs
Entertainment, this is our world this is our language
Different regions speakin' east and west gang shit
You got your positive shit like, Common Sense
But even he had drama with the Don Mega Cube
Acknowledge the words get twisted at times it's rules
What you think is different from the block whenever we feud
Fuck your pictures and your plaques your tours and autographs
Don't trust bitches and niggaz who tell you your all of that
'Cause they'll be in your enemies face sayin', it's safe
To run in your release party sprayin' the place
Or catch you when you least on point, putting your keys in the door
Behind you with your seeds in Kay Bee Toys store
Maybe the words get disrespectful now your niggaz check you
You gon' let that nigga play you, you know we gon' rep you
Next mornin' every news channel and front page
All I want, all I want, all I want is a girl
Someone that cares enough about me
That she refuses to react
When I act like I don't care about her
Ice-packs for my shiners
Though you're on my nerves
Someone smart enough to click me back together
?? simple and suede and still evadable
Is that too much to ask?
Is that too much to ask?
Is that too much to ask?
Well, I don't know
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Someone I love and who loves me
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Yeah, that and maybe the world
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Someone that loves me the way of
Star Wars, Wizards and Ninja Wars
Star Wars, Wizards and Ninja Wars
All I want, all I want, all I want is the chance
Someone with lasers and mirrors for eyes
Catching radio waves of Valium plants
That can dance to the music
And hover in the air
Someone that makes me feel at home whenever
Today, tomorrow, you get it forever
Is that too much to ask?
Is that too much to ask?
Is that too much to ask?
Well, I don't know
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Someone I love and who loves me
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Yeah, that and maybe the world
(Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh)
Someone that loves me the way of
Star Wars
Star Wars, Wizards and Ninja Wars
[Kool Keith]
Yo, Kool Keith
Bronx in the house
Y'all know how to ill, I'ma take you to the real
Challenge the ill, brother to God
You just a ancestor, you know the shit dyker
You ride around Manhattan as a gay biker
Non-homo, you a gay hiker
Trust funds one on your nose
Lethal injections, front row at the Source Awards
My public shocked, pee on publicity
The urine splash off the Billboards
The top MC to me is Traci Lords, get what I mean?
Man, Traci Lords
Plastic fake like your backup band with drum setup
Guys blowin horns
With light Twinkie sounds on your keyboards
Y'all mad at each other
[Chorus]
Y'all want Star Wars
Y'all want Star Wars
Y'all want publicity, y'all want Star Wars
Y'all want them Star Wars
[Kool Keith]
My job is to utilize beats like this
Rap on beats like this, you know the amplitude, is rude
Mad planet at Sizzler
Ballers love the open bar but they're secrets with the seasoning
Type of hyper king to defecate in your food
Ask Tommy King from the health department
I put the urine stains in the mansion
That's $75 a apartment
All secret toilets well
Number one rapper, go in the public bathroom
Don't even stop at Shell, around Puerto Rican Day parade
Blacks feel it, relax under my {?}
Your family is Frankie Beverly, cats spit out the Maze
[Chorus]
Y'all want them Star Wars
Y'all want that publicity
Y'all want them Star Wars
Y'all want that publicity
[Kool Keith]
Teachers from Del Monte used to Bath & Bodyworks
Familiar, when I'm layin in the cut
Watch me front in a 310 car blastin Ashanti
Or Maury Santana, scatter takin the honies out to Panda Express
For the Panda's best, girl the exttravagance is lovely
Though the business is about to go down
Take you down to the alley, where you think the top models buy the dress
Easy on the hot wings, baby you got 2 real players
You better share them things
I wear the real, you flaunt the costume
Flash your bubblegum rings, like they new
Tomorrow watch the Japanese dress, y'all follow
That's right
[Chorus]
Y'all want the Star Wars
Y'all want the publicity
Y'all want them Star Wars
Publicity in action

[words & music by Thomas C. Hansen]
A long time ago, in a galaxy far away
The evil empire was building a force, destroying all in its way
Lord Vader, he's the man in black
Helmet of steel helps him to breathe, and with Jedi force he attack
The death star is near
But the rebels have no fear
The dark side of the force
They'll never join
Star Wars, the rebel fleet is on the way
Star Wars, they have come to save the day, Star wars
A new hope is here, and he's gonna save us all
He is so young but his force is so strong, Luke Skywalker is his name
Our freedom, he's gonna bring back
He has come to lead us into the light, it's time to stand up and fight
He flies among the stars
With the speed of light he goes
The dark side of the force
He'll never join
Yoda my master
Teach me how to fight
The evil Lord Vader
Is dying here to night
Star Wars
We fight for freedom
We fight for glory
There is a time when all men
Believe they can change the world
Telling us lies, controlling our souls
Star troops, silver knights
Lights and purple fire
We want justice for all
Nobody wants to challenge
The rage of the Silver Hawk
Too late to stop the grand firestorm
The Moon's chasing the Sun
The burst will make a huge hole in the sky
Of the Astral Empire
We stand for the astral justice
Over the Moon and the Sun
Through fire, x-ray eyes and lances
Always striking the night
The cruel neverending star war never dies
[Solo]
The Moon's chasing the Sun
The burst will make a huge hole in the sky
Of the Astral Empire
We stand for the astral justice
Over the Moon and the Sun
Through fire, x-ray eyes and lances
Always striking the night
Ten years in universe
Allied in credulous sympathy
Ten years of confidence
The world is getting back to shape again
Ten years of evil birth
Constructing for destruction
Ten years unholiness
Then the deathstar's back
And the empire strikes
The darkside's back
The empire
The darkside's back
The last few years has been good to you my friend,
Now the napalm is falling like rain again,
Desolation and fear is crawling around
Cause the emperors back and he will attack!
Inevitable conflict's raising
You'll never thrust again
All your friends around you
You'll never see again
You think - you're safe no no no way
Cause the empire strikes
The darkside's back
The empire
where are the rebel plans, Luke?
[Kool Keith]
Yeah, yo Marc, this is your album
The beginning
[Chorus: Marc Live]
I been everywhere, the clubs, the backrooms, the V.I.P.'s
Red carpets, bright lights it's not news
Top of the roof wit'cha girl yo you old news
Back of the club with thugs yo we got you
[Marc Live]
I got some shit to show you
Not Russell Simmons, yo it's not "The Show" dude
Some real life shit, "Episode - Part II: Attack of the Clones"
Attack of the clowns that's out there right now
Studio thugs with the studio drugs now
Everybody got shot this year
So what? I'm tired, niggaz get shot every year
Yeah, and everywhere yeah, what's up
What's up with niggaz with these new sets? Yeah
Uhh, you from New York cousin, never even banged yet
Peace to Lil' C, this is for you dawg
I "Shut 'Em Down" like Chuck and Flav
I bust 'em down like it's first and it's re-up day
"Training Day," "The War Report"
Corrupt rapper, I'll turn your lights out
Like some ol' Clapper commercial, the clappers'll hurt you
[Chorus x2]
[Kool Keith]
Fuck it I did my thing but not yet
Shit on your girl's eyelid, watch the girls wake up with Hershey spots
Ex-Lax exposed from my ass
Move the ladies out, I roll with stock tips around your head
Macy's and A&S;, you motherfuckers know I come with the chocolate makeup
My urine is cold, rappers with the Benzes, clean out your seats quick
My defecation is on your wristband
How does it feel when a tough rapper move up close and shit on ya hand
My bowels move with Chuckwagon, a glass of water, and three cans of Calcan
Diapers shock you, blow in front of the fan
Turds on your glove compartment shows with the Pepto Bismol
It's guaranteed a hundred grand, girls sit a lot in restaurants
Especially fine ones, they shit a lot
You can't talk that much around that mouth, spit a lot
[Chorus x2]
[Marc Live]
That's right, it's real, it's crazy
Welcome to the circus
Kool Keith, Marc Live, Rockstar
Yeah, S.M.G.
[Close Encounters of the Droid Kind]
You must use the force (repeat ad nauseum)
[Raiders of the Lost Wookiee]
Long time ago, far far away (repeat)
Kiss a wookie, kick a droid
Fly the falcon through an asteroid
Till the princess is annoyed
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it!
Come and help me, Obi-Wan
X-wing fighter and a blaster gun
Dance with Ewoks, oh what fun!
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it!
[Super Han]
Get in there you big, furry oaf
I couldn't care less what you smell
I take orders from only me
Maybe you'd like it back in your cell
Your Highness, your worshipfulness, your highness, your worshipfulness
No one cares if you upset a droid
(nobody cares if you upset a droid)
That's because droids don't tear your arms out of socket.
(nobody cares)
I suggest a new strategy: let the Wookie win
That's because nobody cares if you upset a droid.
[ET the DiscoTerrestrial]
Now we listen to Luke whining:
One more season... One more season... One more season... One more season...
I was gonna go to Tosche Station for power converters
Now I guess I'm going nowhere.
It just isn't fair.
[Jaws: the Wookiee]
Woooooookiee (repeat)
Someone move this walking carpet (repeat)
Kiss your brother, Kiss your brother (repeat)
Princess Leia
Well I guess you don't know anything about women.
Who's your daddy? (repeat)
[Jurassic Darth]
Luke, I'm your father
(That's not true!)
It is useless to resist
(My hand!)
Come with me my son, We will rule
(I'll never join you!)
Search your feelings it is true
So you have a twin sister
Who Obi-Wan was wise to hide
(Is that Leia?)
If you will not turn
Then perhaps she will
Give in to your hate
You are mine
Long Long Long Time ago... Far Far Far Far Away
Long Long Long Time Ago, Far Far Far Away (repeat)
Kiss a wookie
Kick a droid
Fly the falcon
Through an asteroid
Till the princess is annoyed
(She's annoyed!)
This is spaceships, it's monsters, it's Star Wars, we love it, it's true
