The Ganges ( /ˈɡændʒiːz/ GAN-jeez) or Ganga ( Bengali: গঙ্গা Gônga ,Sanskrit: गङ्गा Hindi: गंगा Urdu: گنگا Ganga IPA: [ˈɡəŋɡaː] ( listen) ); , is a trans-boundary river of India and Bangladesh. The 2,525 km (1,569 mi) river rises in the western Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, and flows south and east through the Gangetic Plain of North India into Bangladesh, where it empties into the Bay of Bengal. By discharge it ranks among the world's top 20 rivers. The Ganges basin is the most heavily populated river basin in the world, with over 400 million people and a population density of about 1,000 inhabitants per square mile (390 /km2).
The Ganges is the most sacred river to Hindus and is also a lifeline to millions of Indians who live along its course and depend on it for their daily needs. It is worshiped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism. It has also been important historically: many former provincial or imperial capitals (such as Patliputra,Kannauj,Kara, Kashi, Allahabad, Murshidabad, Munger, Baharampur and Kolkata) have been located on its banks.
Luis Alberto "El Flaco" Spinetta (23 January 1950 – 8 February 2012) was an Argentine musician. As one of the most influential rock musicians of South America, together with Charly García is considered the father of Argentine rock. He was born in Buenos Aires in the residential neighbourhood of Belgrano. During his early childhood he was already listening to all kinds of music: folklore and tango, and a little bit later, rock. In 1967, amidst the repressive political climate, he formed a band called Almendra with his own school mates.
Contrasting with the backwards and authoritarian government of General Juan Carlos Onganía, Buenos Aires was undergoing a cultural blossoming based on new art expressions; the new generation, among sons of the middle class, were immersed in an effervescence that would not reappear in Argentina until 1983. Spinetta devoted himself fully to his own music. In his lyrics, there are influences of multiple writers, poets and artists like Arthur Rimbaud, Vincent van Gogh, Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, Friedrich Nietzsche, Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze, Carlos Castaneda and Antonin Artaud, which has his name in the album Artaud.

Caballero (birth name: Linda Viera Caballero) was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Her parents moved to New York City soon after her birth, and settled down in the South Bronx area of the city. They moved in with Caballero's grandmother, a woman who served as an important influence on Caballero's life. Her stage name "India" was given to Caballero by her grandmother because of her dark features and long straight black hair.
In 1985, when Caballero was 14 years old, she was a founding member of the Latin freestyle group TKA and was featured on the cover of TKA's second single, "Come Get My Love". She left shortly thereafter.
Caballero signed a record contract with Reprise/Warner Bros. Records, which planned on marketing her as the Latin version of Madonna (who recorded for sister label Sire Records). After recording the album Breaking Night, Caballero decided that she didn't want to take that route in her career.

In the holy river Ganges
In the river of karma and souls
Shiva speaks to the Goddes Kali
Gentle breezes carry his voice
In the holy river Ganges
Pilgrims wash away their sins
And the water kisses their bodies
Like the priestess of your dreams
At the Sati Ritual fires burn and burn
Flames will quickly take you down
You will drwon in flames
In the sacred river Ganges
In the river of spirits and blood
Shiva speaks to the Goddes Kali
Kali will respect no god
On the hill there is a graveyard
Where the fire people lie
Those who cannot ever be there
To the river are sacrificed
At the Sati ritual fires burn and burn
Ganges endless waves still flow
But the ashes change
In the blessed river Ganges
There are many skulls and bones
Shiva speaks to the Godded Kali
Kali wants to kill us all
No more room for Kama Sutra
If you wish to stay alive
You are waiting for a new star
Maybe in another time
Take a dive into the waters
Swim and search the gate inside
You may find a lot of wonders
