America's Newsroom, written on-air as "America's Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum" is an American news/talk program on Fox News Channel, first airing on February 12, 2007.

Derived from one of the network's slogans, the show features general news coverage, which is divided between two general categories, either originating from the National Desk or World Desk. The program also features a number of discussions on issues currently in the news, commonly inviting two separate people to come onto the program to give two separate view points, pulled together by questions asked by the hosts to help inform the viewers on the two points of views on the issue at hand. In addition to each of these features, the program also features a number of soft news stories, alike to much of the programming on the network.

Compared to the show's predecessor, Fox News Live, the show has added to FNL's general news coverage format by pressing a faster paced format in addition to featuring user-involved segment, Because You Asked, in which viewers are able to e-mail into the program to ask questions which were not asked, or possibly followed up, in the coverage of recent news stories or past news stories covered by the network. The Because You Asked segment was formerly seen during Fox Online, which was also hosted by Hemmer. Kelly's Court is another segment on the show that came with Megyn from Weekend Live, the segment looks at and discuss legal story.

Randal Howard "Rand" Paul (born January 7, 1963) is the junior United States Senator for Kentucky. He is a member of the Republican Party. A member of the Tea Party movement, he describes himself as a "constitutional conservative" and a libertarian. He is the son of Republican Congressman and 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul of Texas and had never previously held political office. Paul first received national attention in 2008 when making political speeches on behalf of his father. Rand Paul is the first United States Senator in history to serve alongside a parent in the United States House of Representatives.

A graduate of the Duke University School of Medicine, Paul has been a practicing ophthalmologist in Bowling Green, Kentucky, since 1993, and established his own clinic in December 2007. In 1994, he founded Kentucky Taxpayers United, of which he is still the chairman.

In 2010, Paul ran as the Republican candidate for the United States Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky and defeated Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway. As a supporter of the Tea Party movement, Paul has been vocal in advocating for term limits, a balanced budget amendment, and the Read the Bills Act, in addition to the widespread reduction of federal spending and taxation. He has gained prominence for his independent positions on many political issues, often clashing with both Republicans and Democrats.

Charles Timothy "Chuck" Hagel (born October 4, 1946) is a former United States Senator from Nebraska. A member of the Republican Party, he was first elected in 1996 and was reelected in 2002. In 2009, he was elected as Chairman of the Atlantic Council.

Born in North Platte, Nebraska, to Betty Dunn Hagel and Charles Dean Hagel, who had German and Polish ancestry, he graduated from St. Bonaventure High School (now Scotus Central Catholic High School) in Columbus, Nebraska, the Brown Institute for Radio and Television in 1966 and the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1971. Hagel is a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the United States Army infantry, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E-5) from 1967 – 1968. He served as an infantry squad leader in the 9th Infantry Division. While serving during the Vietnam War, Hagel received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, two Purple Hearts, Army Commendation Medal, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.^{[citation needed]} After returning from Vietnam, he worked as a bartender and radio newscaster while finishing college.

Bill Hemmer (born November 14, 1964) is an American television-news anchor. He is a co-host of America's Newsroom on the Fox News Channel.

Born William George Hemmer in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the son of William Hemmer, a mattress executive, and Georganne Knittle, a former high school teacher; he is the middle child and second son of the Hemmers' five children.^{[citation needed]}

He attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic parochial school{http://www.americancatholic.org/messenger/nov2000/feature1.asp before graduating from Elder High School in Cincinnati.

Hemmer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Miami University, located in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami University, he joined Delta Tau Delta fraternity and studied in Europe at the Miami University Dolibois European Center, located in Differdange, Luxembourg.

While in college, Hemmer interned as a radio disc jockey at WOXY-FM and later moved to an internship at Cincinnati's CBS affiliate .He started out in backroom production at WLWT in the early 1980s, and soon after, went to WCPO to be the weekend sports anchor. He took a year-long hiatus from CBS to take a trip around the world with long-time friend Denny Young. and wrote dispatches, submitted tapes and photos for both the local newspaper and CBS's local affiliate that were published under "Bill's Excellent Adventure." On his return from hiatus, he returned for two years to anchor locally before accepting a position at CNN's Atlanta office.

Reinhold Reince Priebus ( /raɪns ˈpriːbəs/; born March 18, 1972) is the chairman of the Republican National Committee. He is also a previous chair of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.

Priebus is of Greek and German descent, the son of Richard and Dimitra Priebus. His father is a former electrician and his mother deals in real estate.

Raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin by age 16 he was volunteering for political campaigns. He graduated from George Nelson Tremper High School in 1990. He graduated cum laude from University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 1994, where he was elected student body president and earned his bachelor's degree in political science and English.

After college, he worked as a committee clerk in the Wisconsin Legislature and then went to law school at the University of Miami School of Law where he was president of the student bar association and where he received his Juris Doctorate cum laude in 1998. During law school, he interned for the NAACP legal defense fund in Los Angeles.

Priebus met his wife Sally in high school, where the two attended prom together. They married in 1999 and have two children.
