Valdeir "Badú" Vieira (born 11 July 1944, in Marília, São Paulo) is a Brazilian football manager.
Like many Brazilian players in the 1960s, Badu was discovered in the ever-expanding futsal scene. It is from the indoors that Vieira gets his nickname "Badu", which describes a specific way of scoring a goal. He signed his first contract as a professional with the 2nd division Dracena F.C. at age 17. 2 years later he played as attacker in the 1st division with CE Aymoré – São Leopoldo, where Luiz Felipe Scolari was just starting his career as a defender in the youth team. Badu was later the first Brazilian to play respectively for the clubs: Central Español (Uruguay), Hibernians F.C. (Malta) and Croissant Club Sigois (Algeria). Plagued by injuries and more interested in studying the sciences of sports, he finished his career playing non-league football in Germany.
Badu has managed several clubs and national football teams. He managed Costa Rica during 1996 and Oman from 1998 to 1999. He managed Iran during their successful qualification for the 1998 World Cup. On 28 December 2013, Vieira signed with Japan's J. League Division 2 side Kyoto Sanga F.C., which he managed until 18 June 2014.
Antonio is a Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese first name of Latin origin. In the English language it is translated as Anthony, and has some female derivatives: Antonia, Antónia, Antonieta, Antonietta, and Antonella. It also has some male derivatives, such as Anthonio, Antò, Antonis, Antoñito, Antonino, Antonello, Tonio, Toño, Toñín, Tonino, Nantonio, Totò, Tó, Tony, Toni, Toninho, and Toñito.
The Portuguese equivalent is António (Portuguese orthography) or Antônio (Brazilian Portuguese). In old Portuguese the form Antão was also used, In Galician the form Antón. The Greek versions fxxxx general Marcus Antonius held that the origin of the name was Anthon, son of Hercules. This myth, recorded by Plutarch, was probably created by Marcus Antonius himself, in order to claim divine parentage. The name was in use throughout the Roman world which, at its height, comprised the whole of the Mediterranean and much of Europe as well as the Middle East. When the Roman Empire became Christian, the name continued in popularity because of the many great saints who bore the name. Later, the name was spread all around the world as Christianity was introduced to other places (e.g. the Far East, the Americas, and Sub-Saharan Africa).
Antonio Badú (August 13, 1914 – June 29, 1993) was a Mexican film actor and producer. He appeared in more than sixty films during his career, which began during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.

T/I: 11:07:38 Huge crowds thronged into the Azadi stadium in Tehran on Tuesday (2/12) to attend the official welcome home ceremony for the victorious Iranian football team. Among the crowds were thousands of women who, in defiance of authorities, rushed into the arena to catch a glimpse of their heroes. The women, dressed in the scarves, black robes or long coats mandatory in the Islamic Republic, surprised the stadium guards and stormed the gates after being turned away on their first attempt. Women have not been allowed to attend sports events with men in Iran since the Islamic revolution of 1979 and the authorities had warned on Monday that women would not be allowed to attend Tuesday's ceremony. A large police contingent was on hand to provide security for the ceremony honor...
