Gasoline  /ˈɡæsəliːn/, or petrol  /ˈpɛtrəl/, is a transparent petroleum-derived liquid that is primarily used as a fuel in internal combustion engines. It consists mostly of organic compounds obtained by the fractional distillation of petroleum, enhanced with a variety of additives. Some gasolines also contain ethanol as an alternative fuel. In North America the term "gasoline" is often shortened in colloquial usage to "gas" but some people use the term "petrol". Under normal ambient conditions its material state is liquid, unlike liquefied petroleum gas or "natural gas".

Gasoline is more volatile than diesel oil, Jet-A, or kerosene, not only because of the base constituents, but also because of additives. Volatility is often controlled by blending with butane, which boils at -0.5 °C. The volatility of petrol is determined by the Reid vapor pressure (RVP) test. The desired volatility depends on the ambient temperature. In hot weather, petrol components of higher molecular weight and thus lower volatility are used. In cold weather, too little volatility results in cars failing to start.

Zeki Alasya (born 18 April 1943, Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish actor and director. Alasya is of Turkish Cypriot descent and is the cousin of Kıbrıslı Mehmed Kamil Pasha.

After studying at Robert College, he joined MTTB Theatre as an amateur actor. For a short time, he worked at Arena, Gen-Ar and Ulvi Uraz Theatre. With some friends, he founded the Devekuşu Kabare Theatre (Ostrich Cabaret Theatre).

From 1973, he started acting in films and gained fame as a comedian paired with Metin Akpınar like Salak Milyoner, Beş Milyoncuk Borç Verir misin, Köyden İndim Şehire, Güler misin Ağlar mısın, Nerden Çıktı Bu Velet, Nereye Bakıyor Bu Adamlar, Hasip ile Nasip and Güle Güle. In 1977, he also took up directing and went on to direct films such as Aslan Bacanak, Sivri Akıllılar, Caferin Çilesi, Petrol Kralları, Doktor, Köşe Kapmaca, Vay Başımıza Gelenler and Elveda Dostum.

Metin Akpınar (born (1941-11-02)November 2, 1941) is a Turkish actor. He has been one of the most successful comedians in Turkey.

He was born in Aksaray,Istanbul, and graduated from Pertevniyal high school. He pursued his university career in Faculty of Law and Literature at Istanbul.

His professional career started in 1964 in Ulvi Uraz theater with the play "Gözlerimi Kaparım Vazifemi Yaparım". In 1967, he co-founded Devekuşu Kabare Tiyatrosu, the first cabaret theater of Turkey, in 1967, and has been the administrative director since.

In most of his films he starred with Zeki Alasya, often playing the more shrewd one of the duo.

In 1998, the Turkish Government awarded the title "Devlet Sanatçısı" (literally "State Artist" or "National Artist") to Metin Akpınar.

He is married to Göksel Özdoğdu.

Ayşe Ajda Pekkan (Turkish pronunciation: [aʒˌda pe̞kˈkan], born February 12, 1946, in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish pop singer and actress. Through a career spanning five decades thus far, Pekkan has released more than 20 albums and, with Sezen Aksu, is the most commercially successful female Turkish music artist with the sales of over 30 million copies worldwide. She is nicknamed the "Superstar" of Turkish pop music. Although famed for her music, Pekkan started her career as an actress with appearances in almost 50 films. During her music career, Pekkan has recorded songs in nine languages. Apart from Turkish, she is also fluent in English and French.

Pekkan was born to Rıdvan Pekkan, an officer in the Turkish Navy, and Nevin Dobruca, a housewife. She spent her childhood at the Naval Base Gölcük in Kocaeli Province. Ajda graduated from the Çamlıca Kız Lisesi, an elite and high-profile girls' secondary school in Istanbul that had been incorporated under the Ottoman Empire. Aygun Alasgar qizi Kazimova (Azerbaijani: Aygün Kazımova) (born 26 January 1971, Baku) is an Azerbaijani singer, songwriter, pop musician and actress, and a six-time winner of the Grand Music Award for best concert, videoclip and song. She is considered Azerbaijan's leading pop star, and is seen as a cultural icon for the South Caucasian nation in fast transition from post-Soviet state to a boom country. She has spoken passionately on many causes, such as the prevention of HIV/AIDS to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in which she claims to have once taken up arms against separatist Armenian forces.

Aygun was the youngest of the family's four children. She revealed her musical talent at the time she was a middle school student. Along with amateur music, Kazimova was passionate about handball and was the captain of the school's female handball team. She abandoned sports upon graduating from high school and entering the Maarif Technicum of Arts, from where she dropped out in 1986. At the time she worked with the Gaya youth band.
