Amelia's Letter - Behind the Scenes Interview with Frank Simms Background: Amelia's Letter is currently in post production and is scheduled to be released in 2015. This interview is one of a of a series of behind-the-scenes interviews of cast and crew from the production of the film. Frank Simms is an actor based in Derby who plays the role of Gordon. In the film he shares with us how he came to be involved in the project and his experiences of working with Neil Oseman, the director. Synopsis: Amelia has hopes of becoming a writer and is inspired to receive a letter from her publisher that brings with it high expectations. One hundred and ten years later Gordon’s publisher has packed him off to a secluded writer’s retreat. Whilst Vivian is on hand to encourage him, he is still experiencing a powerful writing block fuelled by a series of mysterious events Supernatural occurrences reveal that this is the cottage where Amelia once lived. He is not the only writer to visit the cottage who has had this sinister experience…can Gordon conquer the demons which cause his writer’s block? Would it be better if he didn’t?
