Cundi can refer to:
Cundī Dhāraṇī is a popular Buddhist mantra in China associated with Cundi according to the Cundī Dhāraṇī Sūtra:
Before reading the mantra, Buddhists reads these three times:
Nan Huaijin suggested adding Ong Bu Lin to the ending of the mantra.
In the sūtra, after the Buddha speaks extensively about the various effects and benefits of reciting the Cundī Dhāraṇī. Many of the effects are purifying and uplifting in nature. For example, after pronouncing the dhāraṇī, the Buddha then says:
The dhāraṇī is also closely associated with buddhahood and complete enlightenment (Skt. Anuttarā Samyaksaṃbodhi). At the end of the sūtra, the Buddha closes the teaching by saying:
Om Śhānti (IAST).
"Mantra" (/ˈmæntrə, ˈmɑːn-, ˈmʌn-/ (Sanskrit: मंत्र);) means a sacred utterance, numinous sound, or a syllable, word, phonemes, or group of words believed by practioners to have psychological and spiritual power in Sanskrit. A mantra may or may not have syntactic structure or literal meaning; the spiritual value of a mantra comes when it is audible, visible, or present in thought.
The earliest mantras were composed in Vedic times by Hindus in India, and those are at least 3000 years old. Mantras are now found in various schools of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. Similar hymns, chants, compositions and concepts are found in Zoroastrianism,Taoism, Christianity, and elsewhere.
The use, structure, function, importance, and types of mantras vary according to the school and philosophy of Hinduism and of Buddhism. Mantras serve a central role in tantra. In this school, mantras are considered equivalent to deities, a sacred formula and deeply personal ritual, and considered to be effective only after initiation. However, in other schools of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism or Sikhism, initiation is not a requirement.
In Mahayana Buddhism, bodhisattva is the Sanskrit term for anyone who, motivated by great compassion, has generated bodhicitta, which is a spontaneous wish to attain buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings. Bodhisattvas are a popular subject in Buddhist art.
In early Indian Buddhism, the term bodhisattva was primarily used to refer specifically to Gautama Buddha in his former life. The Jataka tales, which are the stories of the Buddha's lives, depict the various attempts of the bodhisattva to embrace qualities like self-sacrifice and morality.
From this Jataka tales, Bodhisattva originally meant the Buddhism practitioner of austerities that surpassed Śrāvakayana and Pratyekabuddhayana by far and completed Bodhisattvayana. Mount Potalaka, for example, is one of Bodhisattvayana. The name for practitioners who do not yet reach Bodhisattvayana was not fixed, but the terms Śrāvaka-Bodhisattva (聲聞菩薩) or Pratyekabuddha-Bodhisattva (縁覚菩薩) already appear in Āgama which is sutras of early Indian Buddhism.
Buddhist meditation refers to the meditative practices associated with the religion and philosophy of Buddhism.
Core meditation techniques have been preserved in ancient Buddhist texts and have proliferated and diversified through teacher-student transmissions. Buddhists pursue meditation as part of the path toward Enlightenment and Nirvana. The closest words for meditation in the classical languages of Buddhism are bhāvanā and jhāna/dhyāna. Buddhist meditation techniques have become increasingly popular in the wider world, with many non-Buddhists taking them up for a variety of reasons.
Buddhist meditation encompasses a variety of meditation techniques that aim to develop mindfulness, concentration, supramundane powers, tranquility, and insight. Given the large number and diversity of traditional Buddhist meditation practices, this article primarily identifies authoritative contextual frameworks — both contemporary and canonical — for the variety of practices. For those seeking school-specific meditation information, it may be more appropriate to simply view the articles listed in the "See also" section below.

In China, the Cundī Dhāraṇī first appears as a special method in the 7th century CE, when Trepiṭaka Divākara first translated the Saptakoṭibuddhamātṛ Cundī Dhāraṇī Sūtra into Chinese (T20n1077). The title of this text means literally, “Sūtra on the Cundī Dhāraṇī, the Mother of Seven Myriads of Buddhas.” Over the next few decades, the text was translated into Chinese again by Vajrabodhi (T20n1075), and then again by Amoghavajra (T20n1076). All three of these translators were Indian masters who would play important roles in the formation of Esoteric Buddhism in East Asia. Shortly after the first translation of the Cundī Dhāraṇī Sūtra was made, these methods became highly regarded and widely practiced in China, and then naturally spread to Japan, Korea, and Vietnam as well, where they also co...

Så nära ligger sömnen
under alla täcken sval
svept och gömd i filtar
plast, nylon, cellofan
Min mun vid termometern
fuskar Mig febersvag
& det känns som om
Jag glömt någonting kvar?
Jag tappar mina kläder
Jag tappar värmen
grad för grad
Nu skakar Mina händer
värre varje dag
som cesium & syre
brinner Jag alldeles klart
& det känns som om
Jag glömt någonting kvar?
Refr:
Hon är vaken
Jag vet att hon är vaken
Jag är vaken
Hon vet att Jag är vaken
Vi är vakna
Visst syns det att Vi
vaknat nyss
och väntar?
Så nära känner lukten
nu kan Jag slappna av
& utanför på trappan
får frosten Dig att tappa tag
Det har hunnit bli oktober
nu fryser gräset & går av
& Jag hatar allt
som böjs & går av
Refr.
Tänk om Jag har fel
