Reacting to the UN Security Council's resolution imposing sanctions on Jamaat-ud-Dawa, the front for Lashkar-e-Taiba, Pak bans Jamaat-ud-Dawa Pakistan on Thursday placed its chief, Hafiz Saeed, under house arrest and said all offices of the outfit would be closed. Police have encircled the house of Hafiz Saeed in Lahore and told him he cannot go out of the home. Simultaneously, the State Bank of Pakistan directed all banks to freeze the bank accounts of the Jamaat and the four Let leaders, including Saeed, who were declared terrorists subject to sanctions. The others who face action are Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Haji Mohammed Ashraf and Mohammed Ahmed Bahziq. Lakhvi has emerged as the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks. Ashraf is said to be LeT's finance chief and Bahziq a financier, apparently based in Saudi Arabia. Saeed, also the founder of the outlawed LeT, was placed under house arrest for three months in his residence in Johar Town area of the eastern city of Lahore TV channels reported. Reports said the clampdown began after orders were issued by the interior ministry for the detention of Saeed and seven other Jamaat leaders. Their names were also ...

Rafi & GM Durrani - Humko Hanste Dekh Zamana Jalta Hai - Hum Sab Chor Hain [1956]
"Ham Sab Chor Hain" or "Hum Sab Chor Hain" [1956] is an Indian Hindi film written and directed by IS Johar who acted in the movie too. Other stars were Shammi Kapoor, Nalini Jaiwant, IS Johar, Majnu and Ram Avtar. Music is by OP Nayyar. Lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri.......... GM Durrani [Durani] or Ghulam Mustafa Durrani was a popular Indian playback singer in Hindi movies in the 1930s, 1940s and 50s. GM Durrani sahab was discovered by film producer Sohrab Modi. He gave him his first chance [a Ghazal] around 1935-36 in the movie Saaed-e-Hawas, under the music director, Bundu Khan. Later when the concept of playback singing started he was the first to lend his voice for a film titled Bahurani. The film was made by Sagar Movietone and its music director was Rafeeq Gazanavi. Durrani sahab was then working as a fulltime artist in AIR. Those were British days and they were not allowed to do any private recordings. But Rafeeq Saab insisted. Durrani sahab laid down some conditions, like; the recording should be fixed on a Sunday night so that no outsiders would be allowed to enter the studio. Secondly, he said that his name shouldn't appear in credit titles or on discs. He was paid Rs.75 for the song as against his salary of Rs.70 a month at AIR. He then chucked up his job on 31 December, 1940. Thereafter he sang for, among others, noted music directors like Khurshid Anwar, Naushad, Shankar Rao Vyas and AR Qureshi for films like Mirza Ghalib, Humlog, Magroor, Shama, Namaste ...

syed aale raza: salaame aakhir (the last salutation) سید آلِ رضا: سلامِ آخر
The Poet: Syed Aale Raza سید آلِ رضا مرحوم The Reader: Syed Nasir Jahan سید ناصر جہاں مرحوم This poem addresses the female survivors of the massacre at Karbala کربلا, Iraq عراق, which took place on 10 Muharram 61 AH (10 October 680 CE). On this tragic day, the remaining male members of the family of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) were massacred in most tragic circumstances by a Syrian army sent by the tyrant caliph Yazid یزید. Since that day the struggle and sacrifice of Hussain (ra) has become a symbol of resistance against oppression. As مولانا محمد علی جوہر Mawlana Muhammad Ali Johar (1878-1931) has said: قتلِ حسین اصل میں مرگِ یزید ہے اسلام زندہ ہوتا ہے ہر کربلا کے بعد (the killing of Hussain (ra) is in fact the death of Yazid: Islam revives after every Karbala) ...and, before him, خواجہ معین الدین چشتی اجمیری Khuwaja Muin-ud Din Chishti Ajmeri (1141-1230) , the foremost Sufi saint of Chishti Order سلسلہ چشتیہ in India had said: شاہ است حسین ، پادشاہ است حسین دین است حسین دیں پناہ است حسین سر داد ، نہ داد در دستِ یزید حقّا کہ بِنائے لا اِلٰہ است حسین (the king is Hussain (ra), the Emperor is Hussain (ra): the faith is Hussain (ra), the protection of faith is Hussain (ra): he sacrificed his head, but did not bow it to Yazid: the truth is that the foundation of "la ilah" (the first article of faith in Islam) is Hussain (ra). www.facebook.com - twitter.com - www.youtube.com - Surah 20 v 100 Whoever turns away from it (this Qur'an - ie does not believe in it, nor acts on its orders), verily, they will bear a heavy burden (of sins) on the Day of Resurrection, 101 They will abide in that (state in the Fire of Hell) - and evil indeed will it be that load for them on the Day of Resurrection; WHO IS A MUSLIM ? WHO OBEY ALLAH AND FOLLOW HIS LAST MESSENGER IS A MUSLIM,.....BY NAME NONE WILL BE MUSLIM ,ONE BECOMES MUSLIM BY DEEDS WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT QURAN SAYS NOR FOLLOW IT CANT BE A MUSLIM, WHO FUNCTION ACCORDING QURAN IS A MUSLIM ............. The munafiqs, those who reject Faith after accepting Islam, do not aim to earn the good pleasure of Allah SWT like the believers, even when they live among them. Having quite different a personality than the believers, the munafiqs keep company of the believers sometimes to acquire material gain, and sometimes to plot against the believers - just because of their grudge against them. Their belief in Allah SWT and the Hereafter is superficial. Besides, there are also those munafiqs who are foremost in joining the society of the believers by believing yet then lose faith and leave them. Those are the ones who turn away from Faith after accepting Islam. However, they commit a great sin as they break a promise given to Allah SWT and the believers that they would be persistent in their Faith and be loyal to them. This is why they are referred to in the Quran as ...

Muslims don`t look islam as a normal religion, but as a whole system of Life, which gives all answers about this life and hereafter. many people don`t think how they came to this life and what is waiting them after death. they just do not want to think about their death although they must meet it....... The followers of other religions have no decisive proof for their belief, therefore they believe in their religions emotionally or through imitation. Some of them think that you just have to have faith without clear proof. However when it comes to normal things in life people apply a lot of thought such as buying a car, house, choosing a University course or which bank to join, so how can it be that when it comes to the most important questions about life; which define the purpose of our lives that we should just have 'faith' without being convinced absolutely. The Tale of Two Khans [READERS COMMENTS .. 5/9]
indian• 13 hours ago It was a great loss for India, when we lost a statesman like Bacha Khan, who decided to move to Pakistan after partition. In many respect I find his personality more appealing than that of Gandhi. I am pretty sure that he would have been prime minister after Nehru, if he stayed in India. But I guess he was not looking for mortal glories and wanted to serve his people. Pakistan missed a great opportunity by not integrating him with mainline pakistani politics. With him in mainline politics of Pakistan the relation with india wouldn't have been based on lack of trust and most, if not all the issues would have been resolved. Reply +2 ideologyspeaks41p• 14 hours ago May be it was wrong to play politics on the partition of people on basis of their religion. Communal politics always stinks. A youth was killed while his two friends were seriously injured in a mob lynching incident in the Joharabad locality of Tando Adam in Sindh late on Wednesday night while the police stood by as silent spectators, Geo News reported. According to the TV channel, three youths, including one identified as Ghulam Muhammad, brought a girl for sex in to a house in a Joharabad when the locals besieged the property and demanded the boys come out of the premises. The youths telephoned their friends who arrived in the area with weapons and opened fire on the locals. Reports said that a child was injured in the firing which infuriated the residents and they forced their way into the house and dragged the three men out in the street. The angry mob ruthlessly beat up the youths, killing Ghulam Muhammad and injuring his two friends.
