Surya (Devanagari: सूर्य Sūrya, "the Supreme Light", Malayalam: സൂര്യൻ, Kannada: ಸೂರ್ಯ, Burmese: သူရိယ, [θùɹḭja̰]; Malay: Suria; Tamil: சூரியன்; Telugu: సూర్యుడు; Thai: พระอาทิตย์) Suraya or Phra Athit is the chief solar deity in Hinduism, one of the Adityas, son of Kasyapa and one of his wives, Aditi of Indra; or of Dyaus Pitar (depending by the version). The term Surya also refers to the Sun, in general. Surya has hair and arms of gold. He is said to drive through the heaven in his triumphal chariot harnessed by seven horses or one horse with seven heads, which represent the seven colours of the rainbow or the seven chakras. He presides over Sunday.
Sometimes, Surya is depicted with two hands holding a lotus in both; sometimes he has four hands holding a lotus, chakra, a conch, and a mace.
Surya is worshiped in various forms throughout India. One of the most important epithet (form) of 'Surya' is 'Arka'. The "Arka" form is worshiped mostly in North India and Eastern parts of India. The temples dedicated to 'Arka' form of Surya are Konarka Temple in Orissa, Uttararka and Lolarka in Uttar Pradesh, Balarka in Rajasthan. There was an old sun-temple in (Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh) named Balarka Surya Mandir, built by King Tilokchand Arkawanshi in early 10th Century AD. The temple was destroyed in the 14th Century AD during Turkish invasions. The Sun Temple, Modhera, at Modhera in Gujarat, is a temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun-God, Surya. It was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev of the Solanki dynasty.

Amy Louise Jackson (born 31 January 1991) is a British beauty pageant titleholder, model and actress. She won the Miss Teen World competition in 2008, went on to win Miss Liverpool in 2009, and was hotly tipped to be Miss England in 2010 but lost out to Jessica Linley in the final. She made her acting debut with the successful 2010 Tamil period-drama Madrasapattinam, which won her plaudits for her role and launched her acting career. She made her Bollywood debut with Ekk Deewana Tha (2012), starring along side Prateik Babbar.
Born in the Isle of Man to Alan and Marguerita Jackson, she has an elder sister Alicia. The family returned to their parents' home of Woolton, Liverpool, two years later so that her father could continue in his media career, where he is BBC Radio Merseyside's sports presenter. Jackson attended St. Edward's College, gaining 10 GCSEs, and then went on to Sixth form to study English Language, English Literature and Philosophy and Ethics.
Some sources have reported that Amy is dating Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, who has moved into her apartment in Bandra, Mumbai However, Prateik denies that they live together, or that they are dating each other.

Sameera Reddy (Telugu: సమీరా రెడ్డి, Samīrā Reḍḍi ?; born 14 December 1982 is an Indian actress who primarily appears in Bollywood and Kollywood films. Apart from Hindi and Tamil, she has also appeared in a number of Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam films.
Reddy was born in eletipadu near tanuku , Andhra Pradesh. Her father Chintapoli (C. P.) Reddy, a Telugu, is a businessman, while her mother Nakshatra, a Goud Saraswat Brahmin, referred to as Niki by her daughters and in the media, was a microbiologist and worked with an NGO. She has two siblings, Meghna Reddy, a former VJ and supermodel, and Sushma Reddy, herself a Bollywood actress and model, both elder to her. She did her schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College.
Sameera described herself as a "Tomboy" and "the ugly duckling in the family", while citing: "I was plump, had glasses and my glam quotient was rather low till I was 19". She also claimed that she had always been "the calm one" and "most diplomatic" among the sisters and was pampered since she was the youngest in the family.

S. Justin Selvaraj (Tamil: எஸ். ஜஸ்டின் செல்வராஜ்) is an Indian film director, writer, actor, and producer in Kollywood, the Tamil film industry. His screen name is S. J. Surya.
After his schooling in the little village of his birth, Vasudevanallur near Tenkasi, he took a B.Sc. degree in physics at the Loyola College, Chennai. But that one lingering passion—cinema, the movies, the magic on celluloid when the lights go out—persisted. Justin wanted to be a part of this magical world. A stint of about six years as apprentice under various directors like Vasanth, and he was ready for his first film.
Surya's first film was Vaali (1999), with Ajith and Simran playing the lead in Tamil; it was a huge blockbuster and remains his biggest hit to date. The film told the story of a deaf and mute brother setting his eyes on his younger brother's wife. He told the story of vaali at the shooting of aasai, ajith was impressed with the story. After facing problems he finished the film and it was a great success and mass hit movie.

Plot
Andhala Rakshasi is set during the innocent days of 1991. It is Center-staged on three pure hearts Surya, Gowtham and Midhuna and is about falling in love, forgetting and waiting for love. The story celebrates love as well as exposes its dark side of tormenting its patrons in pursuit of it. The three characters resemble the three celestial bodies Sun, moon and Earth. Set in motion by the force of love, the three individuals can neither come close nor cut off but are destined to revolve around the dear ones. In this pursuit of pure love they will be thrown to destinies that they never imagined.

Plot
Employed with HMTV, Pavan/Abhimanyu lives in Hyderabad and is in constant touch with his retired father, Krishnamurthy, and mother. His boss, Sudarshan Babu, hires a Creative Consultant, Surya/Prabhakar Garu, their TV channel undergoes a number of changes, and he gets to interview various people. He meets with Anjali, an employee with Airtel, and both dramatically fall in love. While investigating corrupt politicians, he comes across evidence and decides to join the gang of a gangster named Bada. Still involved in gathering evidence, his world will come crashing around him when he will be told that his parents and many others have been killed after their bus was torched by hooligans. He sets out to also trace who was responsible behind their killing - not knowing that his life is also in danger.

Plot
Surya lives a middle-classed lifestyle along with his honest father who is a Police Inspector. When his father arrests a gangster, he is killed, leaving Surya alone to fend for himself. He overcomes many problems, comes to the rescue of a young boy, Jadhav, and together they assist other oppressed youth, who subsequently make Surya their leader. Years later Surya is a much respected and equally feared Don, and lives a wealthy lifestyle along with Jadhav, Bannerjee, and Mathur as his trusted assistants. He dispenses justice quickly and comes to the assistance of the poor and needy. He meets with Mathur's daughter, Priya, and both fall in love with each other. Jadhav, meets with Nandini, and wants to get married to her. Then complications shatter their lives when Pakistani gangster, Feroz, starts taking an interest in India and wants Surya to join forces with him. When Surya refuses, Feroz lets lose a reign of terror that will devastate and change Surya's life forever.

Plot
Based in Kancheepuram, Surya/Arjun makes a living as a con-man on the North Zone, and is assisted by his girlfriend, Baby; while the South side is presided over by Pashupati. When a Kolkata-based contractor hires the latter to kill District Collector Jaianand/Kishan, Surya decides to defend him - this results in his finding out that Jaianand is his look-alike. Jaianand's terrified fiancée, Shanupriya, then hires Surya to not only protect but also impersonate Jaianand - a move that will drastically change everyone's lives - especially when Kishan refuses to let anyone take his place.

Plot
Kajal is a professor in a college. One day she witnesses the rape and subsequent death of a female student. She reports it to the police, and even identifies the killer, Shishupal. But the police are reluctant to take any action as the killer is the younger and pet brother of the city's most powerful and influential industrialist and gangster, Singhania. When she organizes a student and teacher protest, Shishupal is arrested and held in prison. This angers Sinhangia, who approached Kajal and asks her to refuse to testify against his brother, and for that he will give her a lot of money, but Kajal refuses to do so. When Kajal informs her advocate husband, Mahendra, who is handicapped and walks with a help of a crutch, she finds him supporting and encouraging. Singhania has Kajal raped and killed in front of Mahendra's eyes, and as a result with the only witness killed, Shishupal is released from prison. Mahendra, devastated and humiliated sets about to avenge the killing of his wife by taking Singhania to court, only to have the case dismissed. Mahendra sets upon to avenge his wife's death by deciding to kill the Singhania brothers and his gang one by one - but how is a handicapped person, who is unable to defend himself, carry out such a mammoth task on his own?

Plot
Inspector Kishan lives a middle-class lifestyle in Mumbai, India, along with his younger brother, Rahul. He is in love with Kavita, the daughter of a Mantri, Dindayal Kallu, while Rahul is in love with Neena. The city is being held to ransom by corrupt politicians like Rana Jung Bahadur who openly associate with gangsters and criminal dons like Chaurasia, Rajeshwar and his brother, Lankeshwar. But when Chaurasia decides to take the larger share of the underworld market, a gang-war breaks out. When Inspector Kishan attempts to arrest Chaurasia, he is warned by his superior, ACP. Rahul then witnesses a murder being committed by Chaurasia's goon, Surya, but before he could do anything, he himself is killed. An enraged Kishan goes to kill Surya, but is prevented by thugs. Neena's goes into a depression and passes away. It is then Kishan, now suspended from the Police Force, takes a vow to avenge his brother's death, and this is when he will be thrown into a conflict, not only with the underworld, the Police, but also against Surya himself.
