Binary Options on Google Trends http://binaryoptions101.blog.com/2013/11/29/the-future-of-binary-options/ I posted an article on "the future of binary options" with some insight to Google trends and how the popularity can be measured. Let's take a step back and talk about how it started, you see the first generation of binary options were referred to as Exotic Options traded on private exchanges for many years, some date binary options to the early 1980's! but I am not an historian and I can't really verify this. These options were not web-baseed,the main event that led to the transformation of these options into what we now call "binary options" happended in 2007 when the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) proposed a rule change to allow binary options, and the SEC Securities and Exchange Commission approved it in 2008, so guys anyone tellinng you that Binary options is not regulated or not SEC approved they're full of BS, I mean Wikipedia is pretty accurate and you can trust that I personally do my homework before making statements. After SEC approved binary options, Anyoption lunched the new binary options platform, which converted the concept of binary options to digital contacts, traded on web-based platforms. Anyoption partnered with Reuters to deliver market expiries and created these binary options contracts for each individual asset. Anyoption took 4 different markets: commodities, indices, stocks and currencies all in one platform.. which was never seen before, not with Spread Betting, not with Forex, or any type of OTC (over the counter trading instrument). Now based on Google trends I found that between 2007 and 2013 binary options grew exponentially, I am talking 10,000,000+ of traders and it doesn't end with 2013 because if you look at Google trends for Japan, Russia and many countries around the world, you will see an even greater exponential increase, especially in the year 2013. The exposure is massive! I think that 2013 is a very important year for binary options because it's the year when a handful of brokers established full EU regulations which brought tougher restrictions on these companies and more transparency for users. So is binary options going to continue to grow in the future? I think that the answer is yes! There's a mass migration covering all aspects of our life from Social networking to business and communication. Binary Options is the result of the global social changes that the all mighty internet has brought upon us. It's inevitable because binary options are convenient. No need to call a stock broker over the phone or to use a bank portal to trade stocks...This is old school.
