As a concert venue, the apartment became known as The Pickle Patch. By his early 20s, Aoki had built his own record label, which he named Dim Mak after his childhood hero, Bruce Lee. He has also been in numerous bands, including This Machine Kills, which released an album on Ebullition Records, Esperanza, and The Fire Next Time.

Nothin in this world
Comes for free
But I'm just trying to get high
Nothin in the sun nobody gave me
Shake it Shake it till it pops out
Nothin in this world
Comes for free
But I'm just try'na get it
I'm just try'na get it,
Try'na get it, try'na get it
Get it, get it, get it, get it
Ahhh
She's just my type
She?
She go all night
I seen the light
Got my feet on the ground, my head in the clouds
My feet on the ground, my head in the clouds X2
I'm feel the sun, do you hear that sound
I step outside
I slip and slide
I'm about that life
It's a new horizon, now I know who I am
It's a new religion, yeah it takes me away
Got my feet on the ground, my head in the clouds
My feet on the ground, my head in the clouds X2
I'm feel the sun, do you hear that sound
Got my feet on the ground, my head in the clouds
My feet on the ground, my head in the clouds X4
