Kramer may refer to:
For other people, real or fictional, with the last name of "Kramer", see Kramer (surname).
Cosmo Kramer, usually referred to as simply "Kramer", is a fictional character on the American television sitcom Seinfeld (1989–1998), played by Michael Richards. The character is loosely based on comedian Kenny Kramer, Larry David's former neighbor across the hall.
Kramer is the friend and neighbor of main character Jerry Seinfeld, residing in Apartment 5B, and is friends with George Costanza and Elaine Benes. Of the series' four central characters, only Kramer has no visible means of support; what few jobs he holds seem to be nothing more than larks.
His trademarks include his upright hairstyle and vintage wardrobe, the combination of which led to his categorization as a "hipster doofus"; his taste in fruit; his love of occasional smoking, Cuban cigars in particular; his bursts through Jerry's apartment door; frequent pratfalls and his penchant for nonsensical, percussive outbursts of noise to indicate skepticism, agreement, annoyance, and a variety of other inexplicable responses. He has been described as "an extraordinary cross between Eraserhead and Herman Munster".
Michael Anthony Richards (born July 24, 1949) is an American actor, comedian, writer and television producer, best known for his portrayal of the eccentric Cosmo Kramer on the television sitcom Seinfeld. Throughout the show's run, he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times.
Richards began his career as a stand up comedian, first stepping into a national spotlight when he was featured on Billy Crystal's first cable TV special. He went on to become a series regular on ABC's Fridays. Prior to Seinfeld, he made numerous guest appearances on a variety of television shows including Cheers, Night Court, Miami Vice and St. Elsewhere. His film credits include So I Married an Axe Murderer, Airheads, Young Doctors in Love, Problem Child, Coneheads, UHF, and Trial and Error, one of his few starring roles. During the run of Seinfeld, he made a guest appearance in Mad About You. After Seinfeld, Richards starred in his own sitcom, The Michael Richards Show, which lasted less than one season.
Manuel Alejandro (born 1933), is a Spanish composer of Latin love songs, which are better known as ballads. He has written, composed, and arranged songs for the likes of Luis Miguel, Plácido Domingo, Julio Iglesias.Raphael, Hernaldo Zúñiga, José José,José Luis Rodríguez,Emmanuel,Enrique Guzmán, Isabel Pantoja, Rocío Jurado, Rudy Marquez, and Jeanette, among many others.
Manuel Alejandro was born in 1933 in Jerez de la Frontera–Cádiz. He is the son of one of Spain's most renowned contemporary symphonists, Germán Álvarez Beigbeder. It was his father, an accomplished musician, professor, and composer, who inspired Manuel Alejandro to pursue music and become a composer.
He started writing songs for Spanish singer Raphael during the 1960s. Many of those songs are now considered classics. The list includes such hits as:
He continued writing a few songs during the 1970s, but reached his peak in the early 1980s with the release of consecutive albums with songs performed by different international artists. A whole generation grew up listening to songs written by him, although not many knew he was the man behind those hits.
What can you say?
There isn't much to tell.
I'm going downhill
And I blame myself.
I've been jumpin' at shadows,
Thinking 'bout my life.
Everybody points their hand at me.
I know I'm just a picture
Of what I should've been.
I've been jumpin' at shadows,
Thinking 'bout my life.
What can you say?
There isn't much to tell.
I'm going downhill
And I blame myself.
I've been jumpin' at shadows,

There's two kinds of people that I just can't stand,
a cold-hearted woman and a lyin' man.
So don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Because it makes me mad, and I get evil as a man can be.
Yes, I do.
Told me that you loved me long time ago.
The man that you had, you don't want him no more.
Don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Because it makes me mad, and I get evil as a man can be.
Yes, I do.
Well, you told me that you loved me long time ago.
The man that you had, you don't want him no more.
Don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Because it makes me mad, and I get evil as a man can be.
I'm gonna tell you.
Don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Don't you lie to me.
Because it makes me mad, and I get evil as a man can be.
Yes, I do.
Evil as a man can be.
(Gary Moore)
You're out of reach, you're out of touch.
This time baby you've run out of love.
You're out of sight, you're out of mind.
Another heartache I've left behind.
It doesn't make any difference
where you go from here.
Too many times you've been running
I was here, over and over again.
Well I've got you out of my system.
I've got you out of my soul.
We've been through this a thousand times.
Too many partners for your perfect crimes.
You turned your back when I was down.
Well this time baby I won't be around.
It doesn't make any difference
what you do or say.
This time it's over forever.
I'm on my way,
don't wanna see you again.
Well I've got you out of my system.
I've got you out of my soul.
Well I've got you out of my system.
And now I'm right outside your control.
It doesn't make any difference
where you go from here.
Too many times you've been running
I was here, over and over again.
Well I've got you out of my system.
I've got you out of my soul.
Well I've got you out of my system.
And now I'm right outside your control.
I've got you out of my system.
Well I've got you out of my system.
Out of my system.
I've got you out of my soul.
Out of my soul.
Well I've got you out of my system.
I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
If I was looking back at her
I saw her walking down the street
Though little does she look so sweet
I followed her for half a mile
I had to stop and talk a while
I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
If I was looking back at her
She had a yellow golden hair
I'm gonna follow everywhere
She had a wiggle when she walk
I wanted her to stop and talk
You know that I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
If I was looking back at her
Yeah
She had a yellow golden hair
I'm gonna follow everywhere
She had a wiggle when she walk, yeah
I wanted her to stop and talk
You know that I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
If I was looking back at her
You know that I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
If I was looking back at her
You know that I was looking back to see
If she was looking back to see
(Gary Moore)
You live your life in a state of confusion,
never finding your way.
You've had the breaks,
but you're so disillusioned.
You only live for today.
You never stop for a red light,
you never even try.
You're on the wrong side of midnight.
Too fast to live, but too young to die.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Keep on singing the blues.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
You've got nothing to lose.
You say that you've got a hot reputation.
You never built it on trust.
I say you're part of a lost generation.
You got left in the dust.
You never stop for a red light,
you never even try.
You're on the wrong side of midnight.
Too fast to live, but too young to die.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Keep on singing the blues.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
You've got nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Keep on singing the blues.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
You've got nothing to lose.
Yeah, nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
You've got nothing.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
No, no, you've got nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
You've got nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Keep on singing the blues.
Nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Keep on singing the blues.
You've got nothing to lose.
Keep on rockin' and rollin'.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.
Keep on singing the blues.
You've got nothing to lose.
The time has come to talk about tomorrow.
You should be a careful one tomorrow.
I heard them on the radio.
I saw them on the video.
I don't think I can take much more.
Led clones, Led clones.
You've stolen from the houses of the holy.
You've rolled into the kingdom of the sain.
I heard you on the radio.
I saw those crummy videos.
I don't think I can take no more.
Led clones, Led clones.
Got to get it on,
From the still of the night.
But you're gettin' it wrong,
You know it ain't right.
Ooh, yeah.
Ooh, yeah.
I saw them on the radio.
I heard them on the videos.
I don't think I can take much more.
Led clones.
Led clones.
Led clones, woh.
Led clones.

How come, when she's cold
she can melt your heart?
And when she's so blond
it tears you apart.
She's making it clear,
but you don't see through her.
She's got you where she wants you now.
She's got you where she needs you now.
How come, when she's bad
that you feel so good?
You know you can head,
but it's understood.
You know when she's wrong,
but you tell her she's right.
She's got you where she wants you now.
She's got you where she needs you now.
Under her spell, under her thumb.
No place to hide, no place to run.
If she's your life,
how can she take your breath away
with just one look at her?
And if she's your world,
why can't you tell your nights from day?
When she turns around,
does she know when she's found her a fool.
She's got you where she wants you now.
She's got you where she needs you now.
She's got you where she wants you now.
(Gary Moore)
He sees her face in the mirror.
But as he turns, she starts to fade.
He hears her footsteps behind him.
But when he looks, she's gone again.
He hears her voice in the darkness.
As he awakes, she calls his name.
He sees her shadow on the wall
and counts her tears in the falling rain.
She has passed away
a long, long time ago.
Why she haunts him to this day,
he'll never know.
Rest, rest in peace.
You have gone, please leave me alone.
Rest, rest in peace.
You must go, heaven is your home now.
Rest, rest in peace.
You have gone, please leave me alone.
Rest, rest in peace.
You must go, heaven is your home now.
Rest, rest in peace.
You have gone, please leave me alone.
Rest, rest in peace.
(Gary Moore)
It's not the same when I look in her eyes.
The magic's not there.
And when I look, I realize
what we could have shared.
I'm always gonna love you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna want you.
I don't think I could ever
just forget the love we had.
It's not the same when she's here in my arms,
or the smile on her face.
And even though with all of her charms,
she can't take your place.
I'm always gonna love you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna want you.
I don't think I could ever
just forget the love we had.
It's not the same when I look in her eyes.
The magic's not there.
And when I look, I realize
what we could have shared.
I'm always gonna love you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna want you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna love you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna want you,
if loving means forever.
I'm always gonna love you.
I never met a woman
Who could make me feel the way you do
'Cause when I look into your eyes
You don't know what I'm going through
I was looking for someone to turn to
Something I'd never had before
And then you came into my life
Now I can open any door
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
I never met a girl before
Who could understand a man like me
'Cause when I hold you in my arms
I just know that this was meant to be
I was looking for some understanding
Something I'd never had before
And then you came into my life
Now I can open any door
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
Just once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime
I was looking for someone to turn to
Something I'd never had before
And then you came into my life
Now I can open any door
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
That I could ever find someone like you
Just once in a lifetime
I could ever find someone like you
Once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime
Once in a lifetime
I'm gonna leave this place tomorrowI'm gonna leave this town behindI'll be gone before the mornin'On the other side of the mound
That's why I'm movin' onI'm movin' onI've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' on
Oh, well I'm tired of the same old facesAnd I'm sick of the same old namesI'm getting bored with the same old placesEverybody starts to look the same
That's why I'm movin' onI'm movin' onI've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' onMove it for me
I've been tryin' to settle down hereBut my feet just won't stay stillAnd I've heard that the grass is greenerOn the other side of the hill
That's why I'm movin' onI'm movin' onI've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' onGive me one more for the go
I'm gonna leave this town tomorrowI'm gonna leave this place behindYou can bet your bottom dollarAll my troubles will be far behind
That's why I'm movin' onI'm movin' onI've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' on
I've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' onSaid I've been hangin' around too longIt's time I was movin' on, ooh
What is it that you want from me?
I really wish I knew.
I try so hard to do my best,
But it's not good enough for you.
Over and over again
We will make the same mistakes.
Over and over again
There's a feelin' I just can't shake.
Is it time to go our separate ways?
Is it time to go our separate ways?
You know I need your love so bad.
Can't you see what you do to me?
I try so hard to understand,
But the truth's never plain to see.
Is it time to go our separate ways?
Is it time to go our separate ways?
Time after time we will try to understand.
I don't know where we went wrong,
But there's no use in holdin' on.
Over and over again
We will make the same mistakes.
Over and over again
And it's more than a man can take.
Is it time to go our separate ways?
Is it time to go our separate ways?
Is it time to go our separate ways?
The wind is up,
And the sky is falling.
The thunder cracks,
And the sea is rolling.
Wonder if we'll ever see tomorrow.
Ride with our backs to the wind,
Don't know if I'll make home again.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
The sky is black,
And the wind is howling.
The lightning strikes,
And the sea is raging.
Wonder if we'll ever see tomorrow.
Turning our ships to the sun,
This time there is no place to run.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
Running from the storm.
I used to wake up in the morning with an aching head.
I couldn't remember anything I'd said.
My friends told me I was getting out of line.
If it wasn't for you baby, I'd be doing time.
Since I met you baby,
You've made a new man of me.
Since I met you baby,
I'm happy as a man could be.
Yes, I am.
I used to think I was better than the rest.
Ain't no doubt about it, I was no second best.
Didn't seem to matter what was right or what was wrong.
I did some crazy things before you came along.
Since I met you baby,
You've made a new man of me.
Since I met you baby,
I'm happy as a man could be.
Yes, I am.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby,
I'm happy as a man could be.
One more time!
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Since I met you baby.
Well, since I met you baby,
I'm happy as a man could be.
Yes, I am.
Happy as a man can be.
You tell 'em Gary!
(Gary Moore)
They came for him one winter's night.
Arrested, he was bound.
They said there'd been a robbery,
his pistol had been found.
They marched him to the station house,
he waited till the dawn.
And as they led him to the dock,
he knew that he'd been wronged.
You stand accused of robbery,
he heard the bailiff say.
He knew without an alibi
tomorrow's light would mourn his freedom.
Over the hills and far away,
for ten long years he'll count the days.
Over the mountains and the seas,
a prisoner's life for him there'll be.
He knew that it would cost him dear,
but yet he dare not say.
Just where he had been that fateful night,
a secret it must stay.
He had to fight back tears of rage.
His heart beat like a drum.
For with the wife of his best friend,
he'd spent his final night of freedom.
Over the hills and far away,
he swears he will return one day.
Far from the mountains and the seas,
back in her arms again he'll be.
Over the hills and far away.
Each night within his prison cell,
he looks out through the bars.
He reads the letters that she wrote.
One day he'll know the taste of freedom.
Over the hills and far away,
she prays he will return one day.
As sure as the rivers reach the seas,
back in his arms again she'll be.
Over the hills and far away,
he swears he will return one day.
As sure as the river reach the sea,
back in his arms is where she'll be.
Over the hills and far away,
she prays he will return one day.
As sure as the rivers reach the seas,
back in her arms is where he'll be.
Over the hills.
Over the hills and far away.
Over the hills.
Over the hills and far away.

Monday morning feels so bad.
Everybody seems to nag me.
Come on Tuesday I feel better.
Even my old man looks good.
Wednesday just won't go,
Thursday goes too slow.
I've got Friday on my mind.
Gonna have fun in the city.
Be with my girl, she's so pretty.
She looks fine tonight.
She is outa' sight to me.
Tonight, I'll paint it red.
Tonight, I'll lose my head.
Tonight, I've got to get tonight.
Monday I have Friday on my mind.
Do the five day drag once more.
No one, nothing else that bugs me.
Now I'm working for the rich man.
But I'll change his tune one day.
Tonight I'll get mad.
Tomorrow I'll be glad.
'Cause I've got Friday on my mind.
Gonna have fun in the city.
Be with my girl she's so pretty.
She looks fine tonight.
She is outa' sight to me.
Tonight, I'll paint it red.
Tonight, I'll lose my head.
Tonight, I've got to get tonight.
Monday I have Friday on my mind.
Yeah.
Gonna have fun in the city.
Be with my girl she's so pretty.
Gonna have fun in the city.
Gonna have some fun.
Be with my girl she's so pretty.
Gonna have some fun.
Gonna have fun in the city.
Gonna have some fun.
Be with my girl she's so pretty.
In the city tonight.
Gonna have fun in the city.

Shapes of things before my eyes,
just teach me to dispise.
Will time make man more wise?
Here, within my lonely frame.
My eyes just hurt my brain.
But will it seem the same?
Come tomorrow, will I be older?
Come tomorrow, maybe a soldier?
Come tomorrow, will I be bolder than today?
Now, the trees are almost green.
But will they still be seen,
when time and tide have been?
Soon, I hope that I will find
thoughts deep within my mind,
that won't disgrace my kind.
Come tomorrow, will I be older?
Come tomorrow, maybe a soldier?
Come tomorrow, will I be bolder than today?
Shapes of things before my eyes,
just teach me to dispise.
Will time make man more wise?
(Gary Moore/Neil Carter)
Time was running out for all on board,
soaring up through the shadows of night.
High above the clouds the engines roared,
this would be their final flight.
The russians have shot down a plane on its way to Korea.
Two hundred and sixtynine innocent victims have died.
Murder in the skies, came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies.
Time was running out for everyone,
flying over the Sea of Japan.
None would live to see the rising sun,
death was following close at hand.
The russians have shot down a plane on its way to Korea.
Two hundred and sixtynine innocent victims have died.
Murder in the skies, came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies, came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies, came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies, came without a warning.
Murder in the skies, black September morning.
Murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies.
Murder, Murder in the skies.
Murder in the skies.
(Gary Moore)
We step into a world of danger.
Each night we answer neon's call.
We steer away from passing strangers,
jumping at shadows on the wall.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
Who knows what's waiting in the darkness?
Only the neon sees it all.
Who knows what lurks beyond the shadows?
The strong survive, the weak must fall.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
It's kill or be killed.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
It's kill or be killed.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
It's you or it's me.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.

Look at you, a fool in love.
A man too blind to see.
You never ask yourself why they all leave you.
You try to play so many games.
You give yourself away.
And then you wonder why no one believes you.
You've got to realise
that this is goin' nowhere.
You've got to understand
that there's so much you can share.
You know you've got to
hold on to love
if you wanna learn to forget your sorrow.
You've got to
hold on to love
like there's no tomorrow.
Look at you, a fool in love.
A man too blind to see.
You never ask yourself why they all hurt you.
You try to hide behind your lies.
You give yourself away.
And then you wonder why they all desert you.
You know you've got to
hold on to love
if you wanna learn to forget your sorrow.
You've got to
hold on to love
like there's no tomorrow.
You know you've got to
hold on to love
if you've got to beg, steal or borrow.
You've got to
hold on to love
like there's no tomorrow.
You've got to realise
that this is goin' nowhere.
You've got to understand
that there's so much you can share.
You know you've got to
hold on to love
if you wanna learn to forget your sorrow.
You've got to
hold on to love
like there's no tomorrow.
You better learn to
hold on to love
if you've got to beg, steal or borrow.
You've got to
hold on to love
like there's no tomorrow.
You know you've got to
hold on, hold on, hold on,
keep holdin' on.
Hold on to love like there's no tomorrow.
There'll be a prize to pay,
if your love runs away.
Hold on, hold on,
hold on to love.
(Gary Moore)
I don't know what is wrong with you.
Baby, baby, whatcha tryin' to do to me?
Lovin' you has got me so confused,
I'm sick and tired of always bein' abused this way.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
every day and every night.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
it's gonna make me feel allright.
Yeah.
I don't know what's on your mind.
Baby, baby, why're you so unkind to me?
Lovin' you is driving me insane.
Baby, baby, I'm in so much pain and misery.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
every day and every night.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
it's gonna make me feel allright.
I just want some of your lovin'.
Some of your love.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
every day and every night.
All I want from you is your sweet lovin',
it's gonna make me feel allright.
Yeah.
I say just give me some of your lovin'.
Just give me some of your lovin'.
Some of your love.
(Wiliams)
Oh, pretty woman
sure's the rising sun.
Says all your cheap paint and powder
ain't gonna help you none.
'Cause she's a pretty woman
right down to her bone.
So you might as well
leave your skin alone.
Pretty woman,
what's the matter with you?
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do.
Oh, pretty woman,
whatcha gonna do?
You kept on foolin' around
till I got stuck on you.
So you can drop your mess
and come down off your throne,
stop using my poor heart
as just a stepping stone.
Pretty woman,
what's the matter with you?
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do.
Oh, pretty woman
that's all right for you.
Now you just go on doing
what you wanna do.
But someday when you think
that you've got it made,
you're gettin' water deep enough
so you can't wade.
Pretty woman,
what's the matter with you?
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do.
Oh, pretty woman.
Oh, pretty woman.
Oh, pretty woman.
Oh, pretty woman.
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do. No!
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do. No!
Can't make you love me
no matter what I do.
Oh, pretty woman,
I just can't make you love me.
Oh, no.
(Gary Moore)
It's the darkest hour
of the darkest night.
It's a million miles
from the morning light.
Can't get no sleep.
Don't know what to do.
I've got those midnight blues.
When the shadows fall,
I feel the night closing in.
There must be some reason
for this mood I'm getting in.
Can't get no sleep.
Don't know what to do.
I've got those midnight blues.
Every evening after sundown,
as the light begins to fade.
I feel so low, but I just don't know
why these blues won't go away.
Every evening after sundown,
as the light begins to fade.
I feel so low, but I just don't know
why these blues won't go away.
It's the darkest hour
of the darkest night.
It's a million miles
to the morning light.
Can't get no sleep.
Don't know what to do.
I've got those midnight blues.
I've got those midnight blues.
I've got those midnight blues.
I've got those midnight blues.
(Gary Moore)
He was born in Mississippi 1924.
He was born in Mississippi 1924.
Left his home with no money.
He had to pay his dues,
but he knew the time was comin'
when he'd be king of the blues.
King of the blues!
Lost his heart to a woman, Lucy was her name.
Lost his heart to a woman, Lucy was her name. Yes, it was.
When he hears her sing so sweetly,
he knows he just can't lose.
When he holds her in his arms he knows that
he's the king of the blues.
He's a Hunter with a Crosscut Saw.
Born Under A Bad Sign.
Caught his baby messin' down the Laundromat.
He Almost Lost his Mind.
Yeah!
He was born in Mississippi 1924.
He was born in Indianola, Mississippi 1924. Yes, he was!
He doesn't need no jester to keep him amused.
He's got Lucy by his side,
he's making headline news.
Doesn't need no palace,
like Freddie down in Dallas.
You can call him what you like,
I call him king of the blues.
That's right, mister Albert King of the blues.
Yeah!
King of the blues.
Let me hear ya!
(Gary Moore)
Sometimes it seems,
that you've had more than enough.
As your life is going nowhere,
and you feel like giving up.
Sometimes you know,
that you can't take anymore.
When things are getting harder
than they've ever been before.
Don't lose your heart when things go wrong.
You know what to do now.
Just turn your back and carry on, come on.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Sometimes it seems,
like you've really lost your way.
When you're mind is full of doubt,
you've got nothing left to say.
You're going around in circles
like a man who's running blind.
But the world must keep on turning,
and it's leaving you behind.
Don't lose your heart when things go wrong.
You know what to do now.
You've got the strenght to carry on, come on.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Reach for the sky.
Reach for the it.
Don't lose your heart when things go wrong.
You know what to do now.
Just turn your back and carry on, come on.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Come out with your
hands up, hands up, hands up.
Reach for the sky.
Reach for the sky.
Reach for the sky.
Reach for the sky.
(Philip Lynott)
Papa take a look at your boy,
he's a military man.
Papa take a look at your boy,
he's crying.
Papa take a look at your boy,
he's a soldier.
Papa take a look in his eyes,
they're colder.
Papa take a look at your boy,
he's a military man.
Mama take a look at your boy,
he's dying.
Mama take a look at your boy,
he's fighting.
Mama take a look at your boy,
he's frightened.
They have trained your boy to kill.
And kill someday he will.
They have trained your boy to die
and ask no questions why.
Papa take a look at your boy,
take a look at your boy,
take a look at your boy.
He's a killer, yeah.
Mama take a look at your boy,
take a look at him now,
take a look at your boy.
He's a soldier, he's colder, he's older, mama.
Mama take a look at your boy,
obey the order.
Mama take a look at your boy,
like a lamb to the slaughter.
They have trained your boy to kill.
And kill someday he will.
They have trained your boy to die
and ask no questions why.
One day, I will write for you a lovesong mother.
As the children say, I love you, please hold me.
And you and I, we will live our life together.
Until that day when we die, I will love you mother.
I will always love you.
I'am writing from this war.
Oh mama, I don't know what I'm fighting for.
And have you seen my children?
God bless them, kiss them,
and tell them that I miss them.
See I'm frightened in the dark,
mama, mama.
The blood is ankle deep.
They have trained your boy to kill.
And kill someday he will.
They have trained your boy to die.
Mama take a look at your boy,
take a look at him now,
take a look at your boy.
He's marching,
he's a soldier.
Oh brother, oh mama.
He's on the street.
He's marching to the backbeat.
(Gary Moore/Neil Carter)
Lonliness is your only friend.
A broken heart that just won't mend,
is the price you pay.
It's hard to take when love grows old.
The days are long and the nights turn cold,
when it fades away.
You hope that she will change her mind,
but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
You see her face in every crowd.
You hear her voice, but you're still proud,
so you turn away.
You tell yourself that you'll be strong.
But your heart tells you,
this time you're wrong.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
You hope that she will change her mind,
but the days drift on and on.
You'll never know the reason why she's gone.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
Empty rooms,
where we learn to live without love.
(Gary Moore/Neil Carter)
The party's over, I can't drink no more.
My head is hurtin', I'm looking for the door.
But it's so hard to find, so hard to find.
Walk to my car on my hands and my knees.
Hand in my pocket, I'm looking for the keys.
But they're so hard to find.
Look at my son, he's no friend of mine.
Reach for my shades before I go blind.
Maybe tomorrow I don't wanna know.
All messed up with no place to go.
I'm seeing double, the whisky's to blame.
I'm having trouble remembering my name.
So hard to tell, it's so hard to tell.
Can't get no sleep, there's a quarrel and fight.
I'm not sure if I'm dead or alive.
So hard to tell.
Look at my son, he's no friend of mine.
Reach for my shades before I go blind.
Maybe tomorrow I don't wanna know.
All messed up with no place to go.
I can't believe it's really me in the mirror.
Feel like I'm falling of the rails,
looks like a hellhouse on my tail.
Look at my son, he's no friend of mine.
Reach for my shades before I go blind.
Maybe tomorrow I don't wanna know.
All messed up with no place to go.
All messed up with no place to go.
All messed up with no place to go.
All messed up with no place to go.
All messed up,
all messed up,
all messed up with no place to go.
All messed up with no place to go.
(Gary Moore)
There is only tomorrow,
nothing but sorrow waiting for you.
Don't look for any mystery,
it's only history we're passing through.
The threat from the east
growing stronger with each passing hour.
All systems are failing,
and talks with the west have turned sour.
The leaders are waiting for blood on their hands.
Playing with weapons they don't understand.
Could it be this time we'll see the end of the world.
Each day brings a new danger,
love is a stranger we used to know.
Outside, the sun goes on rising.
But we're realizing there's not long to go.
The storm clouds are forming,
take heed of the warning to come.
The Kremlin has told every nation
there's no place to run.
The leaders are waiting for blood on their hands.
Playing with weapons they don't understand.
Could it be this time we'll see the end of the world.
The end of the world.
The end of the world.
The end of the world.
The threat from the east
growing stronger with each passing hour.
All systems are failing,
and talks with the west have turned sour.
The leaders are waiting for blood on their hands.
Playing with weapons they don't understand.
Could it be this time we'll see the end of the world.
The end of the world.
The end of the world.
The end of the world.
(Repeat to end)
(Gary Moore)
You've been turnin' me upside down
since the day I met you.
But no matter how hard I try,
I can't seem to forget you.
You've been turning me inside out
since the day I found you.
So why do I spend all of my time
just hangin' around you?
I don't care what you say to me.
From the way you been behaving
now it's plain to see.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
Like you broke my heart before.
Everybody tells me
that I'd be better off without you.
So why do I spend all of my time
just thinking about you?
I don't care what you say to me.
From the things that I been hearing
now it's plain to see.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
Just like you broke my heart before.
I don't care what you say to me.
From the way you been behaving
now it's plain to see.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
Just like you broke my heart before.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
Just like you broke my heart before.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
You're gonna break my heart again.
(Gary Moore/Jack Bruce/Ginger Baker)
Take a look in the mirror
What do you see
Take a look deep inside you
Are you still free?
There is no peace of mind
When love turns so unkind.
Why does love have to go wrong?
When we try hard to hold on
Why does love have to go wrong?
Take a look all around you
What do you see
Through the pain that surrounds you
Are you still free?
There are no words to say
When the light fades to grey
Why does love have to go wrong?
When we try hard to hold on
Why does love have to go wrong?
Just a moment and it's gone
Take a look in the mirror
What do you see
Take a look deep inside you
Set yourself free
There is no plaxe to hide
When all the flames have died
Why does love have to go wrong?
When we try hard to hold on
Why does love have to go wrong?
Just a moment and it's gone
(Gary Moore/Jack Bruce)
Maybe the sun will keep on shining
Maybe the stars fall from the skies
Where there's a river flowing There is no way of knowing Where it goes, no one knows.
Maybe the rain will go on falling
Maybe the rain maountains touch the skies
Where there's a cold wind blowing
There is no way of knowing; where it goes, no one knows.
Living alone in the city
All of our dreams left behind
In every life there are seasons of laughter and sorrow.
Where in the world did our love go?
Where did our dreams choose to hide?
Where in the world did our love go?
When did our dreams say goodbye?
Living alone in the city
All of our dreams left behind
In every life there are seasons of laughter and sorrow.
Where in the world did our love go?
Where did our dreams choose to hide?
Where in the world did our love go?
When did our dreams say goodbye?
Where in the world
Where in the world
Where in the world did our love go?
(Gary Moore/Jack Bruce)
She was standing in the dark
Waiting in the wings
Just around the next dream
She was holding all the keys
To set my heart free
Behind the shadows of love.
From the distance I could see
Her standing alone
Shine like a jewel in the night
Hidden from the eyes
A theif of the soul
Behind the shadows of love.
Set me on fire with the stoires you tell
Drown in the ocean of dreams
Close to the flame on wings of desire
Nothing's what it seems
She was waiting oustside with arms open wide
Ready to break my heart's fall
Oh the lighting in her eyes
I learned how to fly
Behind the shadow of love.
Set me on fire with the stoires you tell
Drown in the ocean of dreams
Close to the flame on wings of desire
Nothing's what it seems
(Allen Jones/Sherwin Hamlett)
The price is gettin' higher every day
When it comes to good loving it's the same old way
The high cost of love it's getting higher every day
Seems like the less I get the more I have to pay.
I came home with the groceries, you said you need some more
I gave you my last two dollars, you said you need 3 or 4
The hight cost of love it's getting higher every day
Seems like the less I get the more I have to pay.
I bought you a leather coat, you said you wanted a mink
The way you spend my money you think you're married to a bank
The high cost of love it's getting higher every day
Seems like the less I make, Lord, the more I have to pay.
Where I live they want to raise my rent
Before I make a dollar you know it's already spent
The high cost of love it's getting higher every day
Seems like the less I get, Oh, the more I have to pay
Seems like the less I get, Oh, the more I have to pay.
(Gary Moore/Jack Bruce)
Will we find a place in tomorrow
Will we find the way to our dreams
Will we shine our light through the darkest night
Till the morning.
Glory Days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Glory Days
Don't let them fade from our hearts.
There's a time we left far behind us
Though the seeds of hope still remain
And the wheel must turn but the fires still burn
In the morning.
Glory Days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Glory Days
Don't let them fade from our hearts
Glory Days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Glory Days
Don't let them fade from our hearts.
Will we find ourselves in tomorrow
Will we find a way to your dreams
Will we shine so bright, turn your darkest night
To the morning.
Glory Days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Glory Days
Don't let them fade from our hearts
Glory Days
Don't let these times be forgotten
Glory Days
Don't let them fade from our hearts.
(Jack Bruce/Gary Moore/Kip Hanrahan)
In my home of sand outside the city of gold
The wind's so burning hot but my heart remains so cold
I need to buy myself some answers
But the truth's already been sold.
Well I know how to use a razor
Carve my initials in the light
Yes I know how to use a razor
Carve my initials in the light
But sometimes in the depth of the dark, baby
I can make everything all right.
In my home of sand outside the city of gold
Well the wind's so burning hot but my heart remains so cold
The shelter in your eyes, I dream about it when I die
Thirst for it when I cry
My meal of salt upon that table of stone
My meal of salt upon that table of stone
Your feat's so sweet while I thirst here all alone.
In my home of sand outside the city of gold
The wind's so burning hot but my heart remains so cold
I need to buy myself some aspirin
But the truth's already been sold.
(Jack Bruce/Gary Moore/Kip Hanrahan)
You can fool the landlord sp you don't pay the rent
You can fool the world and become the president
You can fool all the people some the time
You can make a million dollars and cry"I don't have a lousy dime"
But you can't fool the blues
You can't fool the blues
When you're makin' all the rules it's so hard to lose
You can't fool the blues, oh no.
You can fool the Romans into lending you an ear
Write a story in the papers believing every smear
You can fool the rich by driving around in a wreck
You can get up someone's nose every time you bounce a cheque
But you can't fool the blues
No you can't fool the blues
You can't fool the blues it just laughs at each lie
Can't fool the blues, oh no.
You can fool your brother into lending you his car
Rub up the waitress for some coctails at the bar
You can talk some bimbo into taking you home
You can fool the wife into thinking you're alone
But you can't fool the blues
You can't fool the blues
That blues chews you up and spits you right out
You can't fool the blues, oh no.
(Gary Moore)
Hey baby, looking good to me.
Hey baby, I like what I see.
I'm ready, I'm ready for love.
What you say, we just forget the drill.
Full metal jacket, I'm shooting to kill.
I'm ready, I'm ready for love.
Don't you know that it's cold outside.
Come on in, I'll keep you satisfied.
Just like that moon up above,
I'm out tonight and I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
I'm ready, I'm ready for love.
Aough!
Come over baby.
Hey baby, won't you tell me your sign.
What do you know, it's the same one as mine.
I'm ready, I'm ready for love.
You hear me knockin', but you won't let me in.
Open the door, honey let the fall begin.
I'm ready, I'm ready for love.
You say you will, than you say you won't.
Now you see it, then you don't.
Just like that moon up above,
It's out tonight and I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
Every day in the week, I'm in a different city.
Every day in the week, somebody tries to hold me down.
Your place or mine, honey?
Don't you know that it's cold outside.
Come on in, I'll keep you satisfied.
Just like that moon up above,
I'm out tonight and I'm ready, ready, ready, ready.
I'm out tonight and I'm ready for love.
I'm ready for love.
I'm out tonight and I'm ready for love.
I'm ready for love.
Ready, I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love. Wooh!
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
Just like that moon up above.
Ready, I'm ready for love.
I'm getting ready, I'm ready for love.
Ready, I'm getting ready for love.
I'm getting ready. Ooh, just like that moon up above.
Ready,
I'm getting ready, I'm getting ready for love.
Ready,
I'm getting ready. Aough!
Ready,
I'm getting ready.
Ready,
I'm getting ready.
Ready,
I'm getting ready.
Ready.
Ain't gonna worry no more
If you stay or if you go
Ain't gonna worry no more
If you stay or if you go
I'm tired of waiting by the telephone
I'm tired of waiting till the cows come home
I'm tired of waiting while your not around
I'm sick of waiting till the sun goes down
Ain't gonna worry no more
Ain't gonna trouble myself
If I don't see you no more
I said I ain't gonna trouble my sweet self
If I don't, If I don't see you round here no more
I'm tired of waiting by the telephone
I'm tired of waiting till the cows come home
I'm tired of waiting till the sun goes down
I'm tired of waiting while your not around
Ain't gonna worry no more
Cause I'm so tired of being lonely
I'm so tired of saying goodbye
I'm so tired of being lonely
Yes I'm so tired of saying goodbye
Ain't gonna cry no more tears
Ain't gonna cry no more tears
Ain't gonna cry no more tears
Ain't gonna cry no more tears over you
Because I'm tired of waiting by the telephone
I'm tired of waiting till the cows come home
I'm tired of waiting till the sun goes down
I'm tired of waiting when your not around
I'm tired of waiting by the telephone
I'm tired of waiting till the cows come home
I'm sick of waiting up until the dawn
I'm tired of you and I'm moving one
Ain't gonna worry no more
I Ain't gonna worry no more
Ain't gonna worry
Ain't gonna worry
No more
Ain't gonna worry no more
I Ain't gonna worry no more
Ain't gonna worry
Ain't gonna worry
(Gary Moore)
Ever since it all began,
a woman and an only man.
What happened to the world in which we're living?
We take, when all this time we could be giving.
And I ask myself each day,
where did we go wrong?
And I wonder when I pray,
where did we go wrong?
Ever since it all began,
one woman and a lonely man.
I worry for the world in which we're living.
We take, when all this time we could be giving.
And I ask myself each day,
where did we go wrong?
And I wonder when I pray,
where did we go wrong?
With every turn our world is growing older.
But does it mean our hearts are turning colder?
With every teardrop falls a shining star.
It seems so wrong, but now we've come so far.
After all is said and done,
I know I'm not the only one
who worries for this world in which we're living,
who cares about the love we should be giving.
And I ask myself each day,
where did we go wrong?
And I wonder when I pray,
(Gary Moore)
The same with all the human race,
with nothin' to take it's place.
We want lovin',
we want love.
Every woman, every man,
tryin' to do the best they can.
They want lovin',
they want love.
Everybody on this earth,
tryin' to find out what they're worth.
They want lovin',
they want love.
Every woman, every man,
tryin' to do the best they can.
They want lovin',
they want love.
They want lovin',
they want love.
Everybody on this earth,
tryin' to find out what they're worth.
They want lovin',
they want love.
The same with all the human race,
with nothin' to take it's place.
They want lovin',
they want love.
We want lovin',
we want love.
We want lovin',
we want love.
We want lovin',
Used to be so easy to give my heart away
But I found out the hard way
There's a price you have to pay
I found out that love, was no friend of mine
I should have known time after time
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
Used to be so easy to fall in love again
But I found out the hard way
It's a road that leads to pain
I found that love, was more than just a game
You're playin' to win, but you lose just the same
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
So many years, since I've seen your face
But here in my heart, there's an empty space
Where you used to be
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
Though the days come and go
There is one thing I know
Want you to hear me when I say
That the blues is back,
And it's here to stay.
I wanna tell you a story,
A story all about the blues.
I want you to listen to me baby,
While I sing it to you.
Want you to hear me when I say
That the blues is back,
And it's here to stay.
I used to have me somebody,
She mean't the whole world to me.
But she left me for someone else,
Left my heart in misery.
Yes, she did!
But I knew the day she left me
That the blues was gonna be a part of me.
Yes, it was.
Since you left me with the blues,
It was the last thing I thought I could use.
But I'm glad that you left me,
Left me with the blues.
If you hadn't given me the blues,
I wouldn't find myself someone sweet as you.
And I'm gonna tell you.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Allright (allright),
Allright (allright),
Every day and night.
Here we go Albert!
One more time!
Since you left me with the blues,
It was the last thing I thought I could use.
But I'm glad that you left me,
Left me with the blues.
If you hadn't given me the blues,
I wouldn't find myself someone sweet as you.
And I'm gonna sing it.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Allright (allright),
Allright (allright),
Every day and night.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Allright (allright),
It's allright (allright),
Every day and night.
One more time!
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
I said hey, hey, the blues is allright.
Hey, hey, the blues is allright.
It's allright (allright),
It's allright (allright),
It's allright (allright),
It's allright (allright),
It's allright every day and every night.
Yes, it is!
Want you to hear me when I say
That the blues is back,
And it's here to stay.
(Gary Moore)
We step into a world of danger.
Each night we answer neon's call.
We steer away from passing strangers,
jumping at shadows on the wall.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
Who knows what's waiting in the darkness?
Only the neon sees it all.
Who knows what lurks beyond the shadows?
The strong survive, the weak must fall.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle
is kill or be killed.
Aogh.
The law of the jungle
is so hard to break.
When death walks behind you,
with each step you take.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle
is kill or be killed.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
It's you or it's me.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
The law of the jungle.
(Gary Moore)
One, two, three, four.
Let me tell you about the Texas blues.
I went down south to Dallas,
to hear those cowboys wail.
Came across that Billy Gibbons
ridin' on that ZZ trail.
I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
I said I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
The Texas blues.
Got myself in Double Trouble,
when I saw that Texas Flood.
Stevie said The Sky Is Crying,
superstition's in his blood.
I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
I said I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
The Texas blues.
How-how-how-how.
Come on!
I heard that Houston Twister.
He could run you off the tracks.
When he plays that Cold Cold Feeling,
you get the shivers down your back.
I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
I said I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
The Texas blues.
A-how-how-how-how.
Well, I'm going back to Dallas.
Won't go waitin' for no bus.
Ridin' off into the sunset.
You won't see my heels for dust.
I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
I said I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
I said I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
And I just can't lose with the Texas blues.
The Texas blues.
Texas blues.
A-how-how-how-how.
(P.A. Greenbaum)
Tell me anybody,
do you really give a damn for me?
I said, tell me anybody,
do you really give a damn for me?
'Cause I just got to tell you
'bout a thing that's botherin' me.
I was a ramblin' pony.
I would roll, I would roll,
I would roll from town to town.
I was a ramblin' pony.
People, I would roll from town to town.
Yes, just looking for a sweet woman,
and makin' all my love come on down.
Yeah.
If I needed anybody,
baby, I would take ya home with me.
If I need anybody,
baby, I would take ya,
baby, I would take ya,
baby, I would take ya home with me.
But I don't need anybody,
don't need anybody but him and me.
And you're sittin' there so green,
believe me, man, I'm just the same as you, yeah.
Said you're sittin' there so green,
believe me, man, I'm just the same as you.
Do you want me to make a last cry or be satisfied?
(Gary Moore)
I need you to show me the way.
"Can you help me?" is all I can say.
I need you to set me on straight.
Help me now before it's too late.
Come along, I'll give you your directions
how to try, but nothin' I see.
Or is it just a subtle reflection
of what I am or am destined to be.
I need you to set me on straight.
Help me now before it's too late.
I need you to show me the way.
"Can you help me?" is all I can say.
Come along, I'll give you your directions
how to try, but nothin' I see.
Or is it just a subtle reflection
of what I am or am destined to be.
Hoh!
I need you to show me the way.
"Can you help me?" is all I can say.
I need you to set me on straight.
Help me now before it's too late.
Come along, I'll give you your directions.
how to try, but nothin' I see.
Or is it just a subtle reflection
(Samwell-Smith/Relf/McCarty)
Yeah.
(John Mayall)
I never realized that you were in pain.
Wanna help you honey, let me see you again.
Hurts my soul baby, when I find you're feeling rough, yeah.
Life is so bad baby,
when do I find the key to love?
The smile on your face wipe away those tears.
Life is gonna get better as you live through those years.
Hurts my soul baby, when I find you're feeling rough, ooh.
Life is so bad baby,
when do I find the key to love?
Somewhere in this world, the one you're waiting for,
gonna come along baby, turn the key to your door.
Hurts my soul baby, when I find you're feeling rough, yeah.
Life is so bad baby,
when do I find the key to love?
When do I find the key to love?
(Gary Moore)
Baby, I used to be the kind anyone could burn.
But now I've left those days behind,
and it's time for the wheel to turn.
Baby, I used to be so easy to take for a ride.
But now I've learned to play the game,
and my eyes are always open wide.
I was the one who would listen to you,
when you handed me all of your lies.
But those days have gone, and it's time you caught on,
'cause this time nothin's gonna get by.
Don't take me for a loser.
Don't take me for a loser, 'cause I'm gonna win.
Don't take me for a fool, baby.
'Cause it would take a fool to lose you again.
Baby, I used to be the one who could run around.
But now my heart is in my head,
and nothing you have said can pull me down.
One day, I told you everything would come back on you.
And now you've had all your chances,
and your one night romances are through.
Don't take me for a loser.
Don't take me for a loser, 'cause I'm gonna win.
Don't take me for a fool, baby.
'Cause it would take a fool to lose you again.
Don't take me for a loser.
Don't take me for a loser, 'cause I'm gonna win.
Don't take me for a fool baby.
'Cause it would take a fool to lose you again.
Don't take me for a loser.
Don't take me for a loser, 'cause I'm gonna win.
Don't take me for a fool baby.
'Cause it would take a fool to lose you again.
