Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan met in a club in The Liberties area of Dublin, Ireland near the Guinness brewery, gravitating to each other through a shared liking of music, and in particular a love of R & B music (Rhythm and Blues). "At that time, MTV only came on in Dublin after midnight, it was the fuzzy channel, and for my generation urban culture was just a wave through us all," explains Sheehan. "It wasn't about gangs and guns; it was fashion and fun, singing and dancing."
Creedence Clearwater Revival (sometimes shortened to Creedence or CCR) was an American rock band that gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a number of successful singles drawn from various albums.
The band consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother and rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. Their musical style encompassed country rock and swamp rock genres. Despite their San Francisco Bay Area origins, they positioned themselves as Southern rock stylists, singing about bayous, the Mississippi River, catfish, and other popular elements of Southern iconography.
Creedence Clearwater Revival's music is still a staple of American and worldwide radio airplay and often figures in various media. The band has sold 26 million albums in the United States alone. Creedence Clearwater Revival was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. They were ranked at 82 on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest artists of all time.

Call on me
If you find yourself standing in a courtyard
Of a dream that's not your own
Flashes of silver and saffron, wind off the ocean floor
You can call on me
Cause I haven't moved
Since the last time you pulled yourself through
You can call on me
Cause I haven't strayed
Since the last time you found your own way
Spinning off into the thunder
Trying to out run man kinds hunger
With blood and soil on your knees
Over those country roads, over those ghettos
Staggering through war zones now
Look at all those fires you could never put out...
Alone
Call on me
'Cause I haven't moved
Since the last time you pulled yourself through
Can call on me
Cause I haven't strayed
Since the last time you found your own way
Night brings space to city streets where you have been
wandering constellations colliding what do you know to
do?
But don't you worry, in each direction,
If you look into my eyes you will see your perfection
Call on me
'Cause I haven't moved
Since the last time you pulled yourself through
Call on me
'Cause I haven't strayed
Since the last time you found your own way (x2)
Sometimes I see ya passing by
Ooooo why
Sometimes I see ya going away
Ooooo please say
Sometimes I realize why luv is giving me mistakes
When you’ve got luv , you don’t really see their face
I’ve seen you in my dreams,
I’ve seen you far away
But there is nothing, I said nothing
Like that one single day
And once again, when I look in the mirror
I see you there, behind like you were even near her
Near the little shining star
That gives me hints of who you are
Sometimes I realize why luv is giving me mistakes
When you’ve got luv , you don’t really see their face
I’ve seen you in my dreams,
I’ve seen you far away
But there is nothing, I said nothing
Like that one single day
Oh ooooooooooo oh oh. Tell me that my soul is wrong
Tell me that I’m understood
By what I call … the only TRUTH !
Or when I’ve seen you once again
I undersatnd I truly do
What made you seem so damn ubset
It’s really true, it’s really true
Sometimes I realize why luv is giving me mistakes
When you’ve got luv , you don’t really see their face
I’ve seen you in my dreams,
I’ve seen you far away
But there is nothing, I said nothing
Like that one single day
That damn old day.. When I’ve seen ya.. I’ve seen ya..
