Schnell ist alles eingeräumt und wir gehen nach draußen, um uns den neuen Wohnort mal genauer anzusehen. Nachbarin Maike, die Tochter des ansässigen Pokémon Professors "Professor Birk" ist schon ganz scharf drauf, uns kennen zu lernen. Nach einer kurzen Begrüßung bei ihr Zuhause, eilt sie jedoch davon, um neue Pokémon für ihren Vater ausfindig zu machen. Den treffen wir zufällig einige Augenblicke später, jedoch wird er gerade von einem Fiffyen angegriffen und wir helfen ihm mit dem in der Nähe, in einem Pokéball liegenden, Geckarbor aus der Patsche. Birk ist nachher so froh, dass er uns Geckarbor überlässt und zu Maike schickt. Region locked consoles and handhelds have been the bane of many a gamer. Especially those that want to play games that are never going to be localized in their part of the world. Nintendo recently at an investor meeting with the CEO Satoru Iwata had spoken about the possibility of having it removed from their hardware all together, what it would mean for them and consumers alike. To me the Wii U and the 3DS should be region free.
