Poor fool us. Why didn’t we pitch an Australian version of The Daily Show that rips off Real Time with Bill Maher’s theme music and John Oliver’s “explainers”? ... The Weekly. Internet Piracy ... That’s why the coming Foxtel comedy series starring Magda Szubanski, Marg Downey, Glenn Robbins and a cast of newcomers should be encouraged too, even if it sounds like an Australian version of Saturday Night Live ... ....
