Web 2.0 is a loosely defined intersection of web application features that facilitate participatory information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design, and collaboration on the World Wide Web. A Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators (prosumers) of user-generated content in a virtual community, in contrast to websites where users (consumers) are limited to the passive viewing of content that was created for them. Examples of Web 2.0 include social networking sites, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites, hosted services, web applications, mashups and folksonomies.
The term is closely associated with Tim O'Reilly because of the O'Reilly Media Web 2.0 conference in late 2004. Although the term suggests a new version of the World Wide Web, it does not refer to an update to any technical specification, but rather to cumulative changes in the ways software developers and end-users use the Web. Whether Web 2.0 is qualitatively different from prior web technologies has been challenged by World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee, who called the term a "piece of jargon", precisely because he intended the Web in his vision as "a collaborative medium, a place where we [could] all meet and read and write". He called it the "Read/Write Web".
The 2,000 Guineas Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race in Great Britain open to three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It is run on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket over a distance of 1 mile (1,609 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in late April or early May.
It is one of Britain's five Classic races, and at present it is the first to be run in the year. It also serves as the opening leg of the Triple Crown, followed by the Derby and the St Leger, although the feat of winning all three has been rarely attempted in recent decades.
The 2,000 Guineas was first run on 18 April 1809, and it preceded the introduction of a version for fillies only, the 1,000 Guineas, by five years. Both races were established by the Jockey Club under the direction of Sir Charles Bunbury, who had earlier co-founded the Derby at Epsom. The races were named according to their original prize funds (a guinea amounted to 21 shillings, or £1.05).
By the mid-1860s, the 2,000 Guineas was regarded as one of Britain's most prestigious races for three-year-olds. The five leading events for this age group, characterised by increasing distances as the season progressed, began to be known as "Classics". The concept was later adopted in many other countries.
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg (born May 14, 1984) is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur. He is best known as one of four co-founders of the social networking site Facebook, of which he is chairman and chief executive.
Zuckerberg was born and raised in a Jewish household in New York state. While still in middle school in his early teens, he took up writing software programs as a hobby, beginning with BASIC, with help from his father. His father then hired a tutor to help his son develop his programming skills further. Zuckerberg's enjoyment in writing programs led him to developing computer games, writing a music player, and setting up a primitive home network he called "ZuckNet." His private tutor calls him a "prodigy." In high school he excelled in classic literature and science, while becoming proficient in four other languages. He was also captain of the school's fencing team.
He later enrolled in Harvard, majoring in computer science and sociology. In his sophomore year he wrote a program called Facemash as a "fun" project, letting students on the college's network vote on other students' photo attractiveness. It was shut down within days, but would become a template for his writing Facebook, a program he launched from his dormitory room. With the help of friends, including roommate Dustin Moskovitz, Facebook went national on other campuses, and they moved to Palo Alto, California. By 2010, the site had an estimated 500 million users worldwide. Zuckerberg and Facebook have since been involved in various legal disputes initiated by others who have claimed a share of the company's profits due to their help in setting it up. Zuckerberg is the largest individual shareholder with 28.4 percent of the common stock and controls 56.9 percent of the voting power. As of 2012[update], his personal wealth was estimated at more than $19.1 billion, making him one of the world's youngest billionaires. Zuckerberg is one of the 30 richest people on Earth.
Eric Emerson Schmidt (born April 27, 1955) is an American software engineer, businessman and the current executive chairman of Google. From 2001 to 2011, he served as the chief executive of Google.
Additionally, Schmidt was a former member on the board of directors for Apple Inc. and sat on the boards of trustees for both Carnegie Mellon University and Princeton University.
Along with Mike Lesk, Schmidt co-authored the lex analysis software program for the Unix computer operating system.
Schmidt was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States. After graduating from Yorktown High School, Schmidt attended Princeton University where he earned a B.S. in electrical engineering in 1976. At the University of California, Berkeley, he earned an MS in 1979 for designing and implementing a network linking the campus computer center, the CS and the EECS departments, and a PhD in 1982 in EECS with a dissertation about the problems of managing distributed software development and tools for solving these problems. He was joint author of lex (a lexical analyzer and an important tool for compiler construction). He taught at Stanford Graduate School of Business as a part time professor.
To be loved is a thrilling sensation as thrilling as can be
Though it happens in every nation they greet if differently
Every mademoiselle with pasoolala, every Englishman talks to his pater
Every spittin' Venetian goes tra la la and the Irish say Mother McCree
But when I look at you and I thrill like I do there is only one thing I can say
Oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! oh boy!
Oh boy what a joy, a joy, a joy, a joy, a joy
To know that you love me by heaven above me
I never expected to pick you off the vine
(The others will try and try and try and try and try
To give you the eye, the eye, the eye, the eye, the eye)
But when they approach you I'll keep them in line
By telling them oh boy oh boy oh boy you're mine
Certain characters hi-diddle-diddle when cupid comes along
Some mechanics shift gears in the middle and drummers kick the gong
Every cowboy I know hollers yipee-a-ay
Every clown in the circus goes oopla
Every sailor in port hollers anchors aweigh
And an Indian gives you a ugg!
But when you hold me tight like you're doing tonight
There's only one thing I can say
Oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! oh boy! oh boy!
Oh boy what a joy, a joy, a joy, a joy, a joy
To know that you love me by heaven above me
I never expected to pick you off the vine
(The others will try and try and try and try and try
To give you the eye , the eye, the eye, the eye, the eye)
But when they approach you I'll keep them in line
By telling them oh boy oh boy oh boy

whooo.
My grandpa died from asbestos.
My daddy's name was Estes.
And I don't know if that messed us up,
or what it did.
My brother was-a workin' as an boiler.
He was glad he wasn't workin' as an oiler.
One day my sister went and lit up a match
and up is where they went.
They went up! up! up!
like a guy on a rocket.
Up! up! up!
Keep your luck, don't hock it.
Up! up! up!
Put your finger in a socket.
Don't you know that's up, Jack?
Aaah, now that leaves me with my cousins.
You know I got 'em by the dozens.
Well, they brought home a bomb and they didn't act calm,
'cause up is where they went.
Ah, but now everything is satisfactory.
I'm on the swing shift at the big factory.
Oooh, I keep cuttin', I just keep struttin'
'cause up is where I'm goin'.
I'm goin' up! up! up!
Push the elevator button.
Up! up! up!
Like superman's cousin.
Up! up! up!
Ooh, fella, now I'm buzzin'.
Don't you know that's up, Chuck?
All right, Chuck.
While gossiping over the back fence,
my aunt was talking in her accents.
The fickle finger of fate paced a well placed goose,
and up is where she went.
While visiting a funeral parlor,
Uncle Louie, he let out a holler.
A stiff went and winked at him
and guess where he went?
He went up! up!
Make the north pole my landin'.
Up! up!
Talk frivolous abandon.
Up! up!
Boom! From sitting to standing.
Don't you know that's up?
Goin' up and up and up
and up and up and up and up!
Are you listenin' now ?
Are you feelin' that way
Aren't you terrified?
Of wakin' up too tired to try again?
Are you happy now
That you've shut yourself down
Are you paralyzed
By all the nonsense that's gone down
I know you're gonna see these things some day
Sorry-eyed we spent so much of your time
Now I'm tryin' to put your riddle to a rhyme
Now it's up up up I'm headin for this evenin'
And it's up up up I'm headed for the clouds
Comin' down ain't the worst part
It only takes a second
To make a change that's gonna last
I hope you're gonna see these things some day
So don't stop lookin' for that light along the way
Sorry that we've spent so much of your time
Now I'm tryin' to put your riddle to a rhyme
Now it's up up up and headin' for this evenin'
And it's up up up I'm headed for the clouds
Congratulations
False expectations
Wrong destination
And realization
That is manifestation
Fake sensation
Just imitation
Endless frustration, yeah, yeah
