Well, last night I get my ass kicked, and I came up laughing. Because now, I'm in Camelot.

Bagman: You see, the way I see it is this: You got two separate fights. The one for truth and justice and the American way of life and all that. That's gotta take a backseat to the one for staying alive. You gotta stay alive! Man, you can have the most beautiful ideals in the whole world, but if you die, your ideals are gonna die with you! The important thing is we gotta stay together, we gotta keep the troupe together. And if keeping the troupe going means that we have to take some of this promoter's money, then I say let's take it and get some sleep!

Billy: [waking a disoriented Bagman, who was asleep by the campfire] There's not two different fights, there can't be two different fights. You got to fight for your ideals, and if you die, your ideals don't die. The code that we're living by is the truth. The truth IS the code! I can't let people walk on that idea, I can't!::[He rises, heads to the motorcycles]::Steve: [waking as Billy starts his motorcycle] What the hell's going on?::Merlin: [who has been watching silently all along] Billy's using your bike.

Alan: There can only be one king, Morgan. You can't just split off and start over again whenever you want. We both know that inside. There can only be one king at one time. That's the law.

Billy: [touching the butterfly on Merlin's head] Oh, my master... I love you. Goodbye.

Town Wants to Ban Cameras After Cop’s Obama Rant Goes Viral (Nanny of the Month, Sept. 2014)

Nanny of the Month turns five-years-old this month, and after all these years busybodies still delight in making it it their business to mind your business. Back in September 2009, control freaks put everything from shark tours to apple pie on their hit list, and how about this month? Careful where you toss those table scraps because Seattle has given garbage collectors the power to fine residents who aren’t all in on composting. And a Minnesota pol is going Four Loko over the latest alcohol innovation. The manufacturer of Palcohol says its powdered alcohol will will be a hit with everyone from airlines to backpackers (astronauts?). But if state Rep. Joe Atkins (D) has his way, Gopher State backpackers will be banned from pairing their campfire fried eggs with a freeze-dried Bloody Mary. (The feds now say they approved Palcohol by mistake.) But on this very special episode, Nanny of the Month zeros in the Garden State. Remember Richard Recine, the (now former) Helmetta, New Jersey special officer caught on video declaring that he does not have to abide by the Constitution since “Obama decimated the friggin’ Constitution”? Helmetta officials were plenty embarrassed when the video went viral, and yet they chose to honor the spirit of Recine’s rant by pushing for a ban on photography and video in public buildings. Under the proposed ordinance, citizens would need a permit to capture such moments of candor in the future, although public meetings would be exempt from the requirement. The ACLU says the ordinance may be unconstitutional, however violators would still face up to $2000 in fines and up to 90 days in jail. But it’s ok, because officials are cracking down on photography for the sake of the children. About two minutes. Australia lifts parliament ban on face coverings

The Australian government has reversed a decision which would have restricted access to parliament in Canberra for women wearing full-face Islamic veils. Earlier this month, parliament said anyone visiting the building with their face covered would have to sit in a separate area of the public gallery. The move was widely seen as being aimed at Muslim women in burkas or niqabs, prompting discrimination accusations. Officials said visitors would now have to show their face briefly to security. "Once this process has taken place, visitors are free to move about the public spaces of the building, including all chamber galleries, with facial coverings in place," the Department of Parliamentary Services said in a statement. The plans would have affected Muslim women wearing niqabs, full-length garments where only the eyes are visible, and burkas, where no part of the face can be seen. Stephen Parry, president of the Senate, said the initial ruling had been made because of rumours that a group of people were planning to attend prime minister's questions on 2 October wearing veils and stage a protest in the public gallery. He said the measure was intended to be temporary and, as it had come on the last day of the parliamentary session, had never been enforced. 'Segregation' Prime Minister Tony Abbott - who has previously described burkas as a "confronting" item of clothing which he wished people would not wear - had asked Speaker Bronwyn Bishop to "rethink that decision". The rule had come amid growing concern about the threat of terror attacks in Australia and the involvement of Australian jihadists in the Islamic State (IS) militant group fighting in Iraq and Syria. Australia has joined the US-led coalition fighting IS in Iraq, and domestically, police have conducted anti-terror raids in recent weeks. But critics said that as everyone entering parliament was subject to security checks there was no reason for people with faces covered to be considered a specific threat. Opposition Labor frontbencher and former immigration minister Tony Burke welcomed the reversal, saying the decision had been taking without proper security advice and for no good reason. "In 2014 for two weeks, the official policy of the Australian parliament was to practice segregation and we need to ensure this does not happen again," he said in a statement. There are about half a million Muslims in Australia, making up just over 2% of the population.

Both stations are banning Lorde's hit "Royals" until the World Series ends. The connection is actually stronger than just name alone: Lorde told VH1 last year that a National Geographic photo of a Royals player autographing baseballs sparked a fixation on the word itself and, thus, the song. 96.5 KOIT says its ban was spurred by listeners, who wrote in questioning its Frisco loyalty after they heard the tune on the station. "Our listeners told us to do it, so we did it," KOIT program director Brian Figula said on the station's website. Whether or not Kansas City has responded by banning They Might Be Giants from its airwaves has yet to be determined.
