All the World's Her Stage...
Plot
Larry is one of the most respected corporate lawyers in the country. You might say he has everything in life one could want - except everything that one needs. He shares his life with nobody and has saturated himself into his work to the point where it is his world. When his sister, Katrina, falls victim to circumstances of life, he is nowhere to be found. The Last Rung On The Ladder is a story about loss and regret.
Plot
Living In Missouri is a comedy of manners which tells the story of RYAN, AMY, and TODD, whose humdrum Midwestern lives are starting to come apart at the seams. Personal betrayals abound when childhood friendships, broken-down marriages, and long-repressed desires come into conflict over the course of one tumultuous Missouri autumn. Ryan and Todd have been best friends since the 7th grade, and time has not been kind to either of them. Ryan is now married to Amy, with two young children and a 9-to-5 job he hates. The sexually frustrated Todd still lives in the basement of his parents' house, works in a video store, and secretly envies Ryan's married life. Meanwhile, Amy is stuck in the middle, balancing career and family with almost no help from Ryan, whose selfish behavior is quickly destroying what's left of their marriage. When Amy secretly turns to Todd for a shoulder to cry on, the two of them begin meeting regularly to discuss her marital woes. Todd misinterprets Amy's attention for love, and believes that they are actually "having an affair," which leads to a series of painful misunderstandings, ending in disaster. Living In Missouri is a challenging, darkly comic film, shot on location in Missouri and Kansas. Boasting a colorful cast of supporting characters, the film veers from dark humor to intense drama, at each turn authentically capturing the bizarre spirit of the Suburban Midwest.

When I sleep is when you rise
Get out of bed wipe the sleep from your eyes
I shut my eyes - all the world drops dead
Now's the time friend of mine
With a passage to
A passage from
Your daily missal
We taught that
Cat to crawl
When I sleep is when you rise
Get out of bed wipe the sleep from your eyes
My heart and soul are in your hands
Now's the time friend of mine
With a passage to
A passage from
Your daily missal
We taught that
Cat to crawl
Now's the time friend of mine
In the night I close my eyes
And all I see is you
You stole my heart then you were gone
Boy what did I do
You told me that you'd always love me
You told me that you'd always care
But tonight is when I need you most
And baby your not there
Can you feel my heart break suddenly
It breaks for you and me
And don't you know the same I'll never be
Chorus:
You promised love
You gave me pain in my life
I'll never be the same
In the dark of night
I call your name but your not here
And I'll never be the same
In my mind I see your face
I only dream of you
I wake up alone without your love
I don't know what to do
You told me that you'd never leave me
You swore that you'd never lie
But the only truth you ever told
Was the day you said goodbye
Can you feel my heart break suddenly
It breaks for you and me
And don't you know the same I'll never be
Chorus (3x)
No one comes down our road
So how would they know
If we had a saint here?
My mother said
"Well, they could just tell"
But I would not stop there
I said, "Larry, he could be one
He just sits out front
He has time to pray"
My mother said
"No, I don't think so"
But I believed anyway
'Cause I thought
That he looked like
Jesus, Savior of our neighborhood
If everyone could just see us
They'd know he was misunderstood
No one who lives in this town
Could get past the sound
Of Larry on Sundays
That's when he talks to himself
And hears the angels
He says that they say
"Larry, you are the one
Our chosen son
We're talking to you"
My mother said
"Please don't be deceived"
But I said, "It could be true"
'Cause I thought
That he looked like
Jesus
Not that I thought that he was
When he shot at
One of our neighbors
And went away in handcuffs
No one came down our road
'Til Larry came home
'Til Larry made bail
Then he had the crews
From all the T.V. News
And he had hate mail
And Larry stopped sitting out
Stopped talking about
The voices he knew
My mother said
"Shame, how he's so afraid now
Even of you"
And I thought
That he looked like
Jesus
Like maybe
He could still make us well
But he looked out and saw strangers
And turned the gun on himself
Ho Sanna, hey Sanna
Ho Sanna, hey Sanna
My name is Larry and I'm thirty-two
I'm so unhappy, I don't know what to do
I am the son of a businessman
I was born to be a part of his plan
Brought up to carry the family crown
I do my best, but my lips are brown
Middle class, I just can't, just can't take it
Efficiency is the name of my crime
Kissing ass, I've gotta, gotta make it
Borrowed money, borrowed time
Live my life under a microscope
I have to work for the rest of my life
I've got a car and a house and an expensive wife
I only bought the car to brag about the price
But I can't afford it; only used it twice
Live my life under a microscope
Oh, I would do anything for success
My son is gay and my wife is on dope
Oh, all I do is becoming a mess
Haven't fulfilled my father's dream
And now he doesn't love me anymore
I think I need a primal scream
But I live next door to my mother-in-law
Live my life under a microscope
Oh, I would do anything for success
My son is gay and my wife is on dope
Oh, all I do is becoming a mess
Middle class, I just can't, just can't take it
Efficiency is the name of my crime
Plastic cash. I gotta, gotta fake it
Borrowed money, borrowed time
Live my life under a microscope
Oh, I would do anything for success
My son is gay and my wife is on dope
Oh, all I do is becoming a mess
You're working like a galleyslave
You got to have a microwave
To keep your living standard high
And your neighbours satisfy
And don't forget to cut your lawn
Otherwise you'll be hang by dawn
Middle class, middle class
Yeah, whoo, allright
Well he's walking on down the street with a happy step today
Stopping only to take a swig as he looks either way (either way)
Fee saw him digging in the trash for food just the other day ah yeah
He said, come on Sticky, come on Sticky come share my Arby's 5 for 5
Well Sticky don't talk much 'cuz you see Sticky don't have much to say
He just walks around singing the same song every single day (every day)
i think it's that one about old Gidgeon and Rocky Raccoon
You see the Beatles checked out and left it no doubt
To help with good Sticky's revival, yeah, yeah, yeah
Well he's got that old Pabst Blue Ribbon smile kicking today ah yeah
I seen him with a can in either hand as he's headed my way just today
You see, in the category of life Sticky don't care where he falls no no
Fraidy cat fraidy cat stuck in a tree
Yelling and screaming it's got to be free yeah
That Fraidy cat fraidy cat slipped off the ledge
Forty foot drop down to the edge
Into the afterlife, to the razor's edge
Queen's of oblivion share the last earthly wedge (the last peace)
So don't be a fraidy cat stuck in a tree
yelling and screaming you've got to be free yeah (just be free)
You can be a healer of tremendous grace
You can put love back in it's place
You can be the sentiment of objecive reason
Learn, grow, change with the seasons (know you can)
Know you can
So don't be blind when it's easy to see
the war is over peace comes to thee yeah
And don't be deaf and fall on dumb ears
The songs mean more when you have
known them for years, yes yes yes
My brothes and my sisters
on to greener grass
Queens of oblivion
They can just kiss my ass
So don't be deaf man don't be blind
Don't be dumb man
just be kind oh be kind
You can be a healer of tremendous grace
You can put love back in it's place
You can be the sentiment of objecive reason
Stow away the cache
The powder is still dry
Ready to blow away
That look in old Tom's eye
Look of longing, yeah he's wanting to belong
Singing the old songs, we'd sing them all night long
Brothers of a different color, it's alright to me
Brothers of a different mother, it's alright you see
Brothers and sisters come and dance with me
Brothers and sisters come dance and sing
Hide the powder and Old Manitou Springs
Down where my old joll' blonde used to swim
Sound of longing, yeah she's wanting to belong
Singing the old songs, she'd sing them all night long
Brothers of a different color, it's alright to me
Brothers of a different mother, it's alright you see
Brothers and sisters come and dance with me
Brothers and sisters come dance come dance and sing
come dance come dance and sing yeah
Je ne cais pas oui vous jais francaise
Stow away the cache I don't know what I just said
Come on everybody lets just put our troubles at bay
Dance, sing, enjoy this cochon de lait
Oh Brothers of a different color, it's alright to me
Brothers of a different mother, it's alright you see
Brothers and sisters come and dance with me
Brothers and sisters come dance come dance and sing
In the hour of least sunlight
In the springtime, the time between day and night
Paint peels perfection with rainbows of light
I listen to the wise man and I follow his sight
I listen to the wise man and I follow his sight
In the darkest hour, when the night turns to day
The dark before the dawn, as Dylan once did say
Surreal sanctuary scenes play day by day
I listen to the wise man and what he did say
I listen to the wise man and what he did say
He said, time has no meaning, if your poor
Now money is no means in which to open the door
Moment by moment
Day by day
try so hard but you just can't stay
In the end
In the end
In the end
In the end
Now in the hour right before I lay
I sit and recourse the events of my day
Entire entities envelope the process of the weight
I listen to the wise ones and I shape my fate
I listen to the wise ones and I shape my fate
Weight so strong like the tide or the moon
you can feel the pressure
Surrender to your knees soon
Live oak livin, livin in my backyard
I listen to the wise man and I listen hard
I listen to the wise man and I listen so hard
He said, time has no meaning, if your poor
Now money is no means in which to open the door
Moment by moment
Day by day
try so hard but you just can't stay
In the end
In the end
In the end
George sits at his window and he wonders why
He wants to see the morning broken
Wants to feel the sunshine yeah
Come and dance with me my brother
I will play and you'll get high
oh so high
We are full of our beginnings but hesitation takes all our time
George was feeling good
But he didn't know why
Motivation slips away
Replaced with time
For more or less of something else
Oh yeah something else, yeah
George rides around the world and he doesn't try
He's got a scooter for a best friend and a meaning of life yeah
Answers hiding in a question or that look in her eye oh her eye
All strong people stand
But some fly high, some fly
George was feeling good
But he didn't know why
Motivation slips away
Replaced with time
For more or less of something else
George he's wet behind the ears
Waits to find his peace here
Waits to face his fears
Doesn't care about tomorrow
Doesn't care what you say
George wants to go out but not on a day like today
Ummm I, I don't know...
Come on George... Come out and play
George was feeling good
But he didn't know why
Motivation slips away
Replaced with time
For more or less of something else
George he's wet behind the ears
Waits to find his peace here
Waits to face his fears
Don't care about tomorrow
Doesn't care what you say
I've seen Dylan but not The Dead
been to a rally of pot smokin' heads
Taken a trip and I've lost my head
And I've had some pretty's in my bed
yeah thats what I said
Well I had some wine, I lost my mind
Couldn't make it to work on time
Picked up some habits along the line
Now I'm feeling, I'm feeling fine
Yes I'm feeling fine
'Cuz I'm a nineties hippie, can't stop our foldk
One thing we've got it's a lot of hope
Feelings we got they have been felt before
I only wish they could be felt some more
You gotta give me some more yeah
Well I got my own place a friend named Dave
I can't keep money hell 'cuz I can't save No
Some people say that you get high
But I don't care you see I'm getting by
Yes I'm getting by
'Cuz I'm a nineties hippie, can't stop our foldk
One thing we've got it's a lot of hope
Feelings we got they have been felt before
I only wish they could be felt some more
You gotta give me some more yeah
Well I spent some time in the olden school
Had to go by the others rules yeah
Now I'm out and my hair is long
And I'm singing a different song
It's a different song yeah
'Cuz I'm a nineties hippie, can't stop our foldk
One thing we've got it's a lot of hope
Feelings we got they have been felt before
I only wish they could be felt some more
You gotta give me some more yeah
Well I'm a nineties hippie, can't stop our foldk
One thing we've got it's a lot of hope
Feelings we got they have been felt before

I was talking in my sleep, she said
Taking pictures making faces
Gone lost and incomplete
Walking quiet down the street, wasted
Searching far and finding nothing
But graves of living meat
So where is the joy in living
When the hours pass me by
What a shame to blame or feel such pain
through laughing eyes (what a shame)
There ain't no one to blame but yourself
You see you inhale the air into the tube
You breath in deeply and
then stare into the hues of blue
Prepare yourself for what you want
Readiness to make it happen
Find your dream seize it, grasp it
We've let illusion cause confusion
that which we once knew is no longer true
Is it good or bad to let go of what you never had
Or what's no longer you
Mysterious, All delerious, Incomprehensible
My life is not what I once thought
A dim reflection of another life that I'm glad I lost
Beat down by others Larry has fought
for what we thought we wanted
But we had it anyway
We've let illusion cause confusion
that which we once knew is no longer true
Is it good or bad to let go of what you never had
Or what's no longer you
Is it good or bad yeah
Well she says she needs
Just a little bit more
And you know I want to give it
but I'm not sure how
You know I'm gonna miss her
as she's walking out my door
it's been a long, long time
since I've been alone
I'll remember the good times (sing it)
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
Sometimes you gotta go on
singing your own song
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
And at the end of the night when
your tired and your crying
Just come home
I was riding in the back of a beat up old chevy
on my way to Amarillo
six a.m. and the light grows
I saw a sign on the side of the road
And it reminded me of you
And all the things you used to do
But oh baby the road is so long
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
Sometimes you gotta go on
singing your own song
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
And at the end of the night when
your lost and lonely
Just come home
And I don't know where
I'm not sure how
But I'm gonna get back to her
She taught me about love
She taught me about life
we stayed up late into the night
and it felt right and it felt good
You know the way it should
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
Sometimes you gotta go on
singing your own song yeah
Sometimes you gotta walk alone
And at the end of the night when
your lost, lonely, scared and crying
Alden and his sister sleep
With one eye closed
Fate chose
All of the saviors to this day
And those birds of a prey, they stay
Yeah, with hungry eye open
No just hopng for their way
How can I tell you their dreams
Know we have been running from them for years
Memories linger from blue to gray
Never an instance for which I should stay
Alden and his sister are older
On their own now fate knows
All of the saviors to this day
Those birds of prey, they stay
Innocence of experience
Go on guild your fence, have your way
Trust and know your means, of which to find your dreams
The past a most dangerous ghost
The one that makes our bed the most
Momma doesn't know where her little boy lives
No and momma doesn't know how her little boy breathes
And momma can't see what is happening to me
I'm ten years gone
Lost at sea
Long forgotten
From my home
I am ten years gone
And it has been so long... So long
Ten years on my own
ten years singing my own song
Sometimes it feels good to bew gone
Sometimes I feel, I feel alone
Ten years gone
Ten years gone
I'm gone but this time for good
Alden and his sister sleep
With one eye closed
You know fate has chose
All of the saviors to this day
And those birds of a prey, yeah they stay
With hungry eye open
Good luck and just hoping for their way
How can I tell you their dreams
Know we have been running from them for years
Memories linger from blue to gray
Never an instance for which I should stay
Momma doesn't know where her little boy lives
No and momma doesn't know how her little boy breathes
Momma can't see whats happening to me
I'm ten years gone
Lost at sea
Long forgotten
From my home
I am ten years gone
And it has been so long... So long
Well Ten years on my own
Ten years of singing my old song
Well sometimes it feels good to be gone
But sometimes I feel awfully alone
Ten years gone
wooooohooooooo yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah I'm gone
Lost is the word for me
Chaos is all that I see
Fear caresses and plays in my hair
I don't want to go there
I like it here
My life is beating me up
And if I don't die I guess I'll go on
I guess I'll be
I guess I'll be
Reason I think leads me along
And the path that I've chosen
Isn't clear and it's long
In darkness with my eyes closed
I wander
I wonder will I ever get home to her
My life is beating me up
And if I don't die I guess I'll go on
I guess I'll be
STRONG
STRONG
Believe in a way I have to take
To face my fear
Tonight fall
And I won't go down
Purpose what is my purpose
Well Well
And I won't begin to fail
To find what's going on
My life is beating me up
And if I don't die I guess I'll go on
I guess I'll be
STRONG
