I've just went with the movie's title because I don't want to confuse anyone. This was the previous video I put as "Miao Rainbow-Colored Clothing". This movie also goes as "The Sumptuous Garments of the Miao Nationality". This film was released in 2013 and made in Yunnan, China. STORYLINE: In Mi Cai's family heritage line, there lies the sacred designs of the Miao Five-Colored clothing. The designs was printed on a piece of leather to help make the Five-Colored clothing. Because this Five-Colored clothing was viewed as a sign of capitalism among the Miao during the Chinese cultural revolution, the lead Chinese communist government wanted to get rid of all of the Five-Colored clothing among the Miao. As the designs was lost due to unfortunate events surrounding Mi Cai's mother, it was Mi Cai's job to find the original designs and continue to make the Five-Colored clothing that was lost during the cultural revolution as a promise to her decreased grandmother. As Mi Cai was finding the original designs, Gao Yi, who is a dance drama choreographer, was also interested in finding the lost Five-Colored clothing designs. Both have met each other with bad impressions. Because of Gao Yi's poor overview of Miao clothing, and the criticism on his Miao clothing-themed dance drama show that Mi Cai gave, he wanted to find the authenticity of the real Five-Colored clothing along with Mi Cai. While trying to find all the clues to the lost designs, a love story also blooms with unimaginable of twist-and-turn events. HISTORY BACKGROUND INFORMATION: (Restatement from my friend) During the Chinese cultural revolution, the lead Chinese communist government have tried and did destroyed many cultural artifacts among all the people in China as to assimilate all people in China as one. The government also didn't want any superstitious things, and superstitions among the people. These cultural artifacts were as old since from ancient times. While you watch this movie, you'll understand what is happening in the film.
