"Sweet Caroline" is a pop song written and performed by Neil Diamond and officially released on September 16, 1969, as a single. It was later released on December 9, 1972 as a part of Diamond's Hot August Night album. There are three distinct mixes of this song. The original mono 45 mix had a loud orchestra and glockenspiel compared to the stereo version on the Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show LP. The third version was a remix found only on the initial CD release of Diamond's His 12 Greatest Hits. This version has the orchestra mixed down very noticeably and has the background vocals mixed up. It has a longer fade as well. The song reached #4 on the Billboard chart and eventually went platinum for sales of one million singles.
In the autumn of 1969, Diamond performed "Sweet Caroline" on several television shows. It later reached #8 on the UK singles chart in 1971. In a 2007 interview, Diamond revealed the inspiration for "Sweet Caroline" was President John F. Kennedy's daughter, Caroline Kennedy, who was eleven years old at the time. Diamond sang the song to her at her 50th birthday celebration in 2007.
Neil Diamond (born January 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades from the 1960s until the present.
As of 2001, Diamond had sold over 115 million records worldwide including 48 million in the United States alone. He is considered to be the third most successful adult contemporary artist ever on the Billboard chart behind Barbra Streisand and Elton John. His songs have been covered internationally by many performers from various musical genres.
Diamond was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984 and into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011. Additionally, he received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000 and in 2011 was an honoree at the Kennedy Center Honors. He has eight number one hit singles with "Cracklin Rosie", "Song Sung Blue", "Desiree", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Love on the Rocks", "America", "Yesterday's Songs", and "Heartlight".
Diamond continues to record and release new material and maintains an extensive touring schedule as well.
Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the 20th century. A cultural icon, he is widely known by the single name Elvis. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".
Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, Presley moved to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family at the age of 13. He began his career there in 1954, working with Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African American music to a wider audience. Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and bassist Bill Black, Presley was the most important popularizer of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country and rhythm and blues. RCA Victor acquired his contract in a deal arranged by Colonel Tom Parker, who would manage the singer for over two decades. Presley's first RCA single, "Heartbreak Hotel", released in January 1956, was a number one hit. He became the leading figure of the newly popular sound of rock and roll with a series of network television appearances and chart-topping records. His energized interpretations of songs, many from African American sources, and his uninhibited performance style made him enormously popular—and controversial. In November 1956, he made his film debut in Love Me Tender.
Gerhard Friedle (born 7 January 1971), better known by his stage name DJ Ötzi, an Austrian entertainer and singer. Successful mainly in German-speaking countries, he is best known in the English-speaking world for his 2001 single "Hey Baby (Uhh, Ahh)", a cover version of the Bruce Channel song "Hey! Baby".
DJ Ötzi was born Gerhard Friedle in St. Johann in Tirol, where he was raised by foster parents and later by his grandmother in the nearby village of Erpfendorf in Tirol.
He first appeared on the stage as an amateur karaoke singer in his native Tirol. Shortly after the start of his career as a singer, he was diagnosed as having cancer. However, his popularity increased, and has transcended the narrow boundaries of Austria. Two of his hits are "Anton aus Tirol" and "Hey Baby", a cover version of Bruce Channel's 1962 song.
He released a cover version of "A Ram Sam Sam", called the "Burger Dance", which peaked number-one in Germany and number 3 in Austria.
In 2006 he found success with the Volksmusik-hit "Sieben Sünden", which became a number 2 hit in Austria and "I Am the Music Man" under the pseudonym DJ Ötzi Junior, which peaked at number-one in Japan.
Graham William Walker, known by his stage name Graham Norton, (born 4 April 1963) is an Irish actor, comedian, television presenter and columnist. He is the host of comedy chat programme The Graham Norton Show on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US. Hot Press has described him as "the 21st century's answer to Terry Wogan", with both men sharing an Irish background and the common link of being a BBC Radio 2 presenter and the BBC television commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest. Norton has won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Entertainment Performance on five occassions.
Norton was born in Clondalkin, a suburb of Dublin, but grew up in Bandon, County Cork, Ireland to a Protestant family. He was educated at Bandon Grammar School, in County Cork and then University College Cork but did not complete his studies.
In 1992 his stand-up comedy drag act in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as a tea-towel clad Mother Teresa of Calcutta made the press when Scottish Television's religious affairs department mistakenly thought he represented the real Mother Teresa.
Where it began, I can't begin to know when
But then I know it's growing strong
Oh, wasn't the spring, whooo
And spring became the summer
Who'd believe you'd come along
Hands, touching hands, reaching out
Touching me, touching you
Oh, sweet Caroline
Good times never seem so good
I'm inclined to believe it never would
And now I, I look at the night, whooo
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two, oh
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulder
How can I hurt when holding you
Oh, one, touching one, reaching out
Touching me, touching you
Oh, sweet Caroline
Good times never seem so good
Oh I'm inclined to believe it never would
Where it began I can't begin knowin' but I know it's growin' strong
First was the spring and spring became the summer who'd believe you'd come along
Hands touching hands reaching out touching me touching you
Sweet Caroline good times never seemed so good
I'm inclined to believe they never would
Look at the night doesn't seem so lonely fill it up with only two
And when I hurt it runs off my shoulder how can I hurt when I'm holdin' you
Warm touching warm reaching out touching me touching you
Oh sweet Caroline...
Sweet Caroline...
Where it began
I can't begin to knowing
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
And spring became a summer
Who'd believe you'd come along
Hands
Touching hands
Reaching out
Touching me
Touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night
And it don't seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when holding you?
Touching one
Reaching out
Touching me
Touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh no no
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline
I've believed they never could

Qué nos pasó
Qué fue de nuestros sueños
Dónde se ha ido nuestro amor
Era un amor
que yo creía un juego
hasta que un día terminó.
Yo sin saber
descuidé nuestro amor,
nuestro ayer.
Sweet Caroline
Qué va a ser de nuestro amor
Vuelve otra vez
a los tiempos del amor. oh!
Parece ayer
y ya ha pasado tiempo,
tiempo que nunca ha de volver.
La soledad
me llena de recuerdos,
recuerdos nuestros de un ayer
Sé, ahora sé
que el amor
sin tu amor nada es.
Sweet Caroline
Qué va a ser de nuestro amor
Vuelve otra vez
And now
We leave us here
Our lives will break
On you
No doubts that you're the one
And there's no lie
In You
Sweet Caroline
I love you more than most
I want to hold you close
Till everything will be alright
But I feel that there is more you need
And that I have to bleed
For every little dumb mistake
But there's nothing left
For you my dear to say
Please go
Let me alone
And laugh on me
Spit on me baby
Come on, come on, come on
Where it began
I can't begin to know when
But than I know it's growing strong
Wasn't the spring
Than spring became the summer
Who'd believe you'd come along
Hands, touching hands
Reaching out, touching me
Touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
But now I...

How can I hurt when I'm alone with you

I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, yeah
Yeah
Sweet Caroline
The time never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would

No One Saw The Terror In Your Eyes!
"shut up and swallow"
yeah, that's what daddy said before he came in her - down in the garden shed
"now you get punished for being such sinful scum
and did you never ever say a word to any one"
CHORUS:
caroline, my sweet sweet caroline,
no one saw the terror in your eyes
pure desperation! yeah yeah
but mom never said a word, she just took another sip
from the bottle of dirt
what about the neighbours?
they found that little girl next to the body parts which used to be her parents
CHORUS:
no one saw your anger, till you cut off his arms, cut off his legs,
cut off his dick with his own axe
pulled out her heart, cut out the brains,
it felt so good and it killed the pain
CHORUS:
no one saw your anger, till you cut off his arms, cut off his legs,
cut off his dick with his own axe
pulled out her heart, cut out the brains,
it felt so good and it killed the pain

Was het de zon
Was het een lentekriebel
Er was die dag iets niet normaal
Toen het begon
Werd het in één klap zomer
Want er gebeurde iets speciaal
Jij, kwam voorbij, keek naar mij
k Voelde jou zo dichtbij
Sweet Caroline
God, dat was een goed gevoel
Sweet Caroline
Jij begrijpt wat ik bedoel
Voel ik me down
Heb ik één van die dagen
Dan denk ik even aan jou
Want sinds die dag
Begint alles blauw te kleuren
Want jij verwent me met je lach
Jij, bent van mij, kijkt naar mij
Ik voel jou zo dichtbij
Sweet Caroline
God, dat was een goed gevoel
Sweet Caroline
Jij begrijpt wat ik bedoel
Sweet Caroline
God, dat was een goed gevoel
