Consistent thoughts from Clive Palmer: No GP Co-Payment No Higher education reforms Everything from this government is a levy and a tax, we don't need that. If they think they have to charge more taxes they aren't doing it right. No to paid parental leave We need to generate more income and generate wealth in Australia. Businesses only pay tax if they make a profit, so a 1.5% tax discount is meaningless to a struggling business. We need them to prosper. Payroll tax taxes people who employ people and punishes them. then the Government wonders why companies aren't employing more people. We need to create incentive for employing people not penalise them. The Government blames PUP Senators for being obstructionist. We have not obstructed the senate in fact we have helped it. Up to June last year the they never got one bill passed. PUP came into the senate - the Carbon tax has been repealed, we also guaranteed a 10% reduction on electricity prices throughout Australia. the mining tax has been repealed, and we have saved the school kids bonus and low income super, the refugee case load of 30,000 people has been fixed up and saved the government 5 billion each year. 95% of the budget items of this government were passed in the first week. The remainder is an ideological debate of people wanting their own way, when really its about how to do the remainder in a manner that does not hurt the people and makes business and Australia prosper. Tony Abbot has a chance now to re-establish trust with the Australian community and do something that will be good for the country. He doesn't want to squander that chance as there won't be any more chances for him. We thought there hasn't been any emphasis on how we make this economy go, how we re-establish confidence and how we create more wealth. So we didn't have an expansionist stimulative growth policy, we had a retractive policy. When things get smaller and retract, demands get smaller and its a self fulfilling prophecy. We can do this better.
