Audio / Video: Recording: Adil Zahouani84 High Quality / High Definition 320 KBPS / MP 3 / @2013 Two suspects are in a serious condition in hospital after armed police shot them following the killing of a serving soldier. Witnesses said they set about the soldier with a number of weapons, which appeared to include knives and a meat cleaver, while shouting the name of "Allah". They apparently encouraged passers-by to video them. Raw Footage Woolwich Terrorist 22 - 5 - 2013 HD/HQ Woolwich Attack' New Shocking Video of Terrorists Getting Shot by Police. FOOTAGE taken by bystanders shows the attackers who had butchered soldier Lee Rigby try to surprise the cops but instead be shot down in a volley of gunfire. TWO terrorists who butchered soldier Lee Rigby also tried to kill a hero woman cop who was first on the scene of the carnage. Shocking footage obtained by the Daily Mirror shows how the calculating pair lured officers to the scene by dragging the body into the middle of the road and brazenly waiting for armed police to arrive. When the first police car arrived the pair split up in a pre-planned manoeuvre with knife-wielding Michael Adebolajo charging them head-on, while his accomplice ran up alongside, aiming his revolver at them. The film of the 10 seconds of terror show how Adebolajo got within TWO FEET of the terrified female cop who was driving the armed response vehicle. She was armed with just a Taser as she sat in the driver's seat of the BMW X5 and was only saved when a male colleague sitting in the back made a split-second decision to fire his machine-gun from point blank range through the window. As Adebolajo is sent sprawling to the ground by the force of the two shots and the two cops jump out to cover him they appear to fail to spot the other suspect aiming his hand gun at them. Luckily a third SO19 marksman running round from the far side of the specialist Trojan unit spots him and he is brought to the ground as a further volley of six shots ring out in the suburban street in Woolwich, south east London. Former Det Ch Ins Peter Kirkham, an expert in firearms tactics said after watching the footage last night: " I have never seen anything like this before, or even heard of it happening before. For two suspects to carry out a brutal attack like this then stand around in plain sight waiting for the police is crazy. Concepts for directly and deliberately manipulating Earth's climate system, collectively referred to as "geoengineering," have been proposed as contingency responses to global warming. Their consideration is motivated by accelerating fossil-fuel use and growing evidence of rapid changes underway in our planet's atmosphere, land, and oceans. While stabilizing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions provides a direct, long-term solution to mitigating climate change, establishing effective strategies and making substantive progress may take time. Some forms of geoengineering in concert with mitigation efforts have been suggested to avoid or reduce the risk of the most damaging climate impacts such as abrupt and irreversible tipping-point events. Yet geoengineering itself is complex and fraught with additional issues and risks that are still poorly understood. Satellite observing systems can play a key role in improving scientific understanding and risk assessments for geoengineering (including the risk of geoengineering research itself) in a rigorous, open, and transparent fashion. This talk will cover the motivations and risks of geoengineering and what can be done to support informed decision-making. 0:00:27 Introduction 0:02:59 Riley Duren 0:09:54 The Keeling Curve 0:11:33 Carbonization of the World 0:13:07 Shanghai from 1990 to 2010 0:13:27 Carbon Cycle 0:15:29 Ocean Acidification 0:16:20 Greenhouse Effect 0:20:06 Projections on warming until 2100 0:21:34 Required actions: Short-, Medium-, Long-term 0:22:29 Complication: climate tipping points 0:24:38 Tipping point example: arctic sea-ice 0:27:04 Tipping point example: arctic permafrost 0:29:46 What can be done? von Kármán Lecture Speaker: Riley Duren, Chief Systems Engineer, Earth Science & Technology Directorate Jet Propulsion Laboratory Release Date: 14 February 2013 Credit: NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory ( JPL)

"U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel resigned on Monday, leaving under pressure as President Barack Obama faces critical national security challenges, including fighting Islamic State in Iraq and Syria and revising plans to exit Afghanistan. It was the first major change to Obama's Cabinet since his Democrats were routed in midterm elections three weeks ago, and Republicans, who now control both houses of Congress, are looking for a new approach from the White house. Hagel was appointed less than two years ago as Obama pushed his signature program of winding down wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, a process now being upended with U.S. re-engagement in Iraq and greater military cooperation with Kabul."* The Young Turks hosts John Iadarola (TYT University), Ben Mankiewicz and Steve Oh break it down. *Read more here: http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/11/24/us-usa-military-hagel-idUSKCN0J81AK20141124

For Shiites, Ashura marks the death of Imam Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Muhammad who was martyred in 680 AD in the Battle of Karbala. Sunnis refer to Ashura as the "Day of Atonement" and celebrate it as the day the Israelites were freed from the Egyptian pharaoh in the Biblical Old Testament (an event known as "Firaun"). Located in central Iraq, Karbala has previously been threatened by Sunni Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS and ISIL) forces. The group has been active in the city of Ramadi, roughly 150 kilometres (93 miles) to the northwest. This video explains why the coup took place. Why it was well accepted by the Thai people. Some western governments and politicians like the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, condemned the action and called for the Army to return to democracy and arrange early election without thinking about the sustainable solution for Thailand and its people. The video ends with the confession of a former U.S. Economic Hit Man, John Perkins, who shared to the world what the US government has done to other countries and there is nothing Democratic about it.
