Paint is any liquid, liquefiable, or mastic composition which, after application to a substrate in a thin layer, is converted to a solid film. It is most commonly used to protect, color or provide texture to objects.
In 2011, South African archeologists reported finding a 100,000 year old human-made ochre-based mixture which may have been used like paint.Cave paintings drawn with red or yellow ochre, hematite, manganese oxide, and charcoal may have been made by early Homo sapiens as long as 40,000 years ago.
Ancient colored walls at Dendera, Egypt, which were exposed for years to the elements, still possess their brilliant color, as vivid as when they were painted about 2,000 years ago. The Egyptians mixed their colors with a gummy substance, and applied them separate from each other without any blending or mixture. They appeared to have used six colors: white, black, blue, red, yellow, and green. They first covered the area entirely with white then traced the design in black, leaving out the lights of the ground color. They used minium for red, and generally of a dark tinge.
I've got a hot chilly feeling I don't understand.
I've got to run through this minute like a hurricane.
I've got to tighten my wire from the sense to the soul.
I find my back to the wall when it's time to go.
I've got to know
is that your heartbeat?
Paint...
me right.
Can you feel the heat in me tonight?
Oh I,
I'm the pearl...
Paint your love all over my world.
I get a love shock/electric from the touch of your hand.
I'm getting lost in the riddles of the modern man.
I've got it up down all around tied to the bone.
Hey there's a strange situation on the late nite show.
I've got to know
is that your heartbeat?
Paint...
me right.
Can you feel the heat in me tonight?
Oh I,
I'm the pearl...
Paint your love all over my world.
Do it right,
I can feel the woman in me tonight.
Oh I,
I'm the pearl...
I heard the notes all fade away
Leaving memorial stones
Yesterday's thoughts have come to stay
Until they decompose
A picture paints a thousand words
With nothing much to say
What last night seemed had to be heard
Is left unsaid today
So when you said you understood
I couldn't understand
I was looking at an empty beach
As you saw all the grains of sand
I was counting views from windows
When you looked in from outside
The light was blurred and distant
And several cities wide
So I turn up the volume
To hear the notes so dim
You said you couldn't hear it
So I asked you to come in
Then you held up a mirror
And I saw my face congeal
I was thin and getting thinner
We take a walk in the garden
We share the fruits of life
We live beneath this canopy
Why did we take that bite?
We cover up our shame
We walk in black and white
We turn this ground for hunger
Why did we take that bite?
Paint me with an endless sunrise
Paint me, yeah
Paint me in open eyes
Paint me with the color of love
You took a walk on the planet
You gave us shade and light
You create mood and substance
How can I can take a bite?
Paint me with an endless sunrise
Paint me, yeah
Paint me in open eyes
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me, mark me up
In these frail, dot-to-dot lines
Color me from one red stream
From which all others flow
Take my black and white and yellow
Brown and pink and pain and sorrow
Take my black and white and yellow
Brown and pink and hate and sorrow
Paint me with an endless sunrise
Paint me, yeah
Paint me in open eyes
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me with an endless sunrise
Paint me, yeah
Paint me in open eyes
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me with the color of love
Paint me with the color
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
(M. Doughty)
Paint!

There's nothing to do
I'm worshipping you. I'm longing to feel you
Paint me. Paint out home.
Paint in the colours you choose.
Nothing would please me more
The curtains you pick are the fools
It's strange and it's filled with you
Just maybe we're closing in.
Maybe we'll break it again
I'm wanting you, needing you, hating you, loosing you.
I'm worshipping you. I'm longing to feel you.

There once was a boy named Harry,
destined to be a star.
His parents were killed by Voldermort,
who gave him a lightning scar...
Yo, Harry, you a wizard!
Harry goes to Hogwarts,
he meets Ron and Hermione,
McGonagall requires he play for Gryffindor.
Draco is a daddy's boy,
Quirrel becomes unemployed,
the Sorcerer's stone is destroyed by Dumbledore.
Ron breaks his wand,
now Ginny's gone,
and Harry is in mortal danger.
Tom Riddle hides his snake inside
his ginormous secret chamber.
Harry blows up aunt Marge,
the Dementors come and take charge.
Lupin is a wolf,
the rat's a man,
and now the prisoner is at large.
They use time travel
so they can save the prisoner of Azkaban,
who just so happens to be Harry's godfather.
I don't really get it either...
Harry gets put in the Triwizard Tournament
with dragons and mermaids.
Oh, no!
Edward Cullen gets slayed,
He's back.
Harry, Harry,
it's getting scary.
Voldemort is back
and now you're a revolutionary Harry.
Dumbledore, Dumbledore,
why is he ignoring your
costant attempts to contact him?
He is forced to leave the school,
Umbridge arrives,
Draco's a tool.
Kids break into the Ministry,
Sirius Black is dead as can be!
Split your soul,
seven parts of a whole,
they're Horcruxes,
it's Dumbledore's end...
There once was a boy named Harry,
who constantly conquered death.
But in one final duel between good and bad
CHORUS 1:
We have our scars, we wear them well.
We have our scars, we wear them well.
We have no time to heal ourselves.
We have no time to heal ourselves.
VERSE 1:
You say you don’t give your name out to strangers,
You feel that it’s safer that way.
I say, “I’ll just call you ‘Lois’ and hope that we meet
again someday,
When the pain has gone away.”
CHORUS 2:
We have our scars, we wear them well (why don’t we
throw them away?).
We have our scars, we wear them well (why don’t we
throw them away?).
It takes some time to heal ourselves (why don’t we
throw them away?).
It takes some time to heal ourselves.
VERSE 2:
Love is sad,
She said the ink I’d collected were signs I’d accept
the pain she’s had.
It went over my head in the moment but I knew I’d
understand someday.
VERSE 3:
I lay next to a beautiful stranger, ignoring the danger
I’m bound to face.
If I could just let go, release my will, accept my
fate,
The pain would go away.
CHORUS 3:
We have our scars, we wear them well (why don’t we
throw them away?).
We have our scars, we wear them well (why don’t we
throw them away?).
It takes some time to heal ourselves (why don’t we
throw them away?).
It takes some time to heal ourselves (why don’t we
throw them away?).

VERSE 1:
When you are in need of someone that you can stand
beside,
I will reserve my judgment, I won’t be of two minds.
CHORUS 1:
Hey my lady,
Why believe in heaven?
Cos you and me can believe in what we see – it’s all we
need.
VERSE 2:
Don’t let my darkest moments define everything I’ve
done.
Only the worst you’ve noticed – isn’t what I’ve become.
The pain I have given can’t be forgiven,
You have to live in hurt.
Let’s not repeat this, let’s end before these,
Bridges have all been burned.
CHORUS 2:
Hey my lady,
Why believe in heaven?
Cos you and me can believe in what we see – it’s all we
need.
EXT. CHORUS:
Hey my lady.

VERSE 1:
Sittin’ on cement on Carrall Street Maurice.
Three papers heroin and speed, waitin’ for daddy.
Jail was always more forgiving – every sunrise makes it
worth living.
From the ground he looks up to heaven but high rises
gleam.
CHORUS 1:
“Here I am in my disparity. You can have my life if you
can make it.
Spare a little bit of your charity?”
VERSE 2:
Jenny in a condo, waterfront, loungin’ on snakeskin.
Martini, T3, Tramacet... Daddy’s gone again.
CHORUS 2:

I don’t waste my time on charity. You can have my life
if you can break it...
INTRO (CHORUS AD-LIB):

Come on and take a hit!”
BRIDGE:
Jenny crosses town on the rarest day, runs into
Maurice.
“Lady, could you spare some charity before you call the
police?”
They carry on, neither turns around – hope to never see
the other again.
Twenty steps away, they say, “You may be just like
me...”
CHORUS 3:
“Here I am in my disparity. You can have my life if you
can make it.
Spare a little bit of your charity? You can have my

Have a hand on control, another reachin’ the unknown,
The space between: where I float.
Expectations, TV stations,
I am blind, you don’t see.
After the smoke clears you know I will still be here.
Once all the dust settles, I may be forever.
VERSE 2:

“Sorry I made you love me.”
After the smoke clears you know I will still be here.
