US stocks have ended higher, as investors continued to welcome loosening monetary policies around the world while looking ahead to a busy week of economic data. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 8 points, or less than 0.1 per cent, to 17,818. The S & P 500 index tacked on 6 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 2,069.
