The stomach is a muscular, hollow, dilated part of the digestive system which functions as an important organ of the digestive tract in many animals, including vertebrates, echinoderms, insects (mid-gut), and molluscs. It is involved in the second phase of digestion, following mastication (chewing).
In most vertebrates, the stomach is located between the esophagus and the small intestine. It secretes protein-digesting enzymes called proteases and gastric acid to aid in food digestion, through smooth muscular contractions before sending partially digested food (chyme) to the small intestines.
The stomach lies between the esophagus and the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine). It is in the left upper part of the abdominal cavity. The top of the stomach lies against the diaphragm. Lying behind the stomach is the pancreas. A large double fold of visceral peritoneum called the greater omentum hangs down from the greater curvature of the stomach.
Two sphincters keep the contents of the stomach contained; the lower esophageal sphincter (found in the cardiac region), at the junction of the oesophagus and stomach, and the pyloric sphincter at the junction of the stomach with the duodenum.
A trauma center (or trauma centre) is a hospital equipped and staffed to provide care for patients suffering from major traumatic injuries such as falls, motor vehicle collisions, or gunshot wounds. A trauma center may also refer to an emergency department (also known as a "casualty department" or "accident & emergency") without the presence of specialized services to care for victims of major trauma.
In the United States, a hospital can receive trauma center status by meeting specific criteria established by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and passing a site review by the Verification Review Committee. Official designation as a trauma center is determined by individual state law provisions. Trauma centers vary in their specific capabilities and are identified by "Level" designation: Level-I (Level-1) being the highest, to Level-III (Level-3) being the lowest (some states have five designated levels, in which case Level-V (Level-5) is the lowest).
The highest levels of trauma centers have access to specialist medical and nursing care including emergency medicine, trauma surgery, critical care, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, anesthesiology and radiology, as well as highly sophisticated surgical and diagnostic equipment. Lower levels of trauma centers may only be able to provide initial care and stabilization of a traumatic injury and arrange for transfer of the victim to a higher level of trauma care.

Abstract: Achalasia cardia is a primary esophageal motility disorder characterized by aperistalsis and incomplete or absent relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter. Pneumatic dilatation is the first-line nonsurgical therapy for achalasia. The principle of this procedure is to weaken the lower esophageal sphincter by controlled tearing of esophageal muscle fibers generated by the radial force of the balloon. Demonstrated here is the technique of pneumatic balloon dilatation of the lower esophageal sphincter under fluoroscopic guidance. This article is part of an expert video encyclopedia. Laparoscopic surgery for achalasia cardia done by Dr K Prakash. This video shows laparoscopic cardiomyotomy with anterior fundoplication. This involves myotomy of lower esophageal and GE junction muscles and gives long lasting symptom relief for the patient.
" In Cardia (Étude Op 2), layers of digital representation coalesce with analog abstraction, forming the interior and exterior of a myogenic muscular organ. Cardia starts off with a tremor of movement without resolution, beginning a myopic journey through a cavernous and alien space. As disorienting and mesmerizing as it is wholly enveloping, the viewers gaze recedes slowly, at which point the form is revealed in its entirety. The transgression from interior to exterior coincides with a backdrop of crystalline shards -- a magnification of the form imploding, itself transforming into a cloud of iridescent particles and then fading to black." We've been living off your pulse in the abscence of light
The only sensation we feel is the draft for the freezing outside
Our eyes glance at the clock, waiting for the munites to move
Bathed in digital light that paints everything in view.
We've spent those past few years contemplating an escape
If death is the consequence it's a chance we take.
Open your eyes. Flash your brights. Ignore octagon shaped signs.
You're fucking drowsy if you think this drive will get you further than our street.
You're fucking drowsy if you think this torch will burn precisely as you seek.
You ask how the fuck do our hearts beats so long untouched and the beauty of it...
Trite, awkward gestures frame the canvas of what we claim to be.
Night driving so long we are in the furthest points of a car.
Night driving for so long sitting in the furthest points of a car.
Watching the cob webs grow from wall to wall
You asked for my thoughts on the politics of whether God exists or not.
We live our lives by dialogues on bathroom stalls.
You ask how the fuck do our hearts beats so long untouched and the beauty of it...
Trite, awkward gestures frame the canvas of what we claim to be.
Open your eyes. Flash your brights.Ignore octagon shaped signs.
You're fucking drowsy if you think this drive will get you further than our street.
You're fucking drowsy if you think this torch will burn precisely as you seek.
Open your eyes if you think that this torch will do anything
More than infect old sores and heat up cold wars
Open your eyes if you think that this torch will do anything
More than infect old sores and heat up cold wars
Up go our hopes like smoke from the cigarettes in a bar
