Bekir Bozdağ (born April 1, 1965 in Akdağmadeni, Yozgat) is a Turkish theologian, lawyer and politician. On July 6, 2011 he was appointed as the Deputy prime minister in the third cabinet of Erdoğan.
He was born on April 1, 1965 in Akdağmadeni of Yozgat Province. After completing his higher education in theology at the Uludağ University in Bursa, he gained a master's degree in history of theology at the same university. Later, Bekir Bozdağ attended Selçuk University in Konya and graduated with a degree in Law. Before he entered politics, he worked as a lawyer.
He was elected into the parliament three times in 2002, 2007 and 2011.
He is married and father of three children.

Bozdağ is a part of Ödemiş district of İzmir province. It is at the east of the province at 38°21′N 28°05′E / 38.35°N 28.083°E / 38.35; 28.083 on Bozdağ Mountains which it is named after. Distance to Ödemiş is 25 kilometres (16 mi) . The population of Bozdağ is 1161. as of 2011.
The ancient name of Bozdağ was Tmolos. It was a border town of Lydian Kingdom in the 6th century BC. After it was plundered by Achaemenid Empire of Persia it lost its importance. According to unclaimed reports, During Ottoman era, it was a summer residence of Mehmet II while he was still a prince (Turkish: şehzade) governing in Manisa. In 1963 it was declared a township.
Fruits and vegetables are produced. At high altitude, the town is cooler than the surrounding and some houses are used as yayla, resort|yayla (summer resort houses) for İzmir or Ödemiş citizens. Winter tourism also seems to be promising.
Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu [ˈihsɑnoːlu] ( listen) is a Turkish academic, diplomat and currently the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the second largest intergovernmental organisation after the United Nations . He is also an eminent intellectual, author, editor of academic journals and advocate of intercultural dialogue.
Ihsanoğlu was born into a Turkish family in Cairo, Egypt. He studied science at the Ain Shams University, where he received his BSc in 1966. He remained in Cairo and obtained his MSc in 1970 from Al-Azhar University. Ihsanoğlu received his PhD from the Faculty of Science at the Ankara University in 1974. İhsanoğlu's academic work has focused on the history of scientific activity and institutions of learning within Islam, cultural exchanges between Islam and the West, the relationship between science and religion, and the development of science in its socio-cultural environment.
İhsanoğlu was the founder of the Department of History of Science at the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University, and he remained the chairman of that department between 1984 and 2003. He was also a lecturer and a visiting professor at various universities, including Ankara University, the University of Exeter, United Kingdom (1975–1977), Inönü University (1970–1980), the University of Malatya (1978–1980), and Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Germany (2003).
Kamer Genç (b. February 23, 1940, Nazimiye, Tunceli, Turkey) is a Turkish politician of Zaza origin. He was a member of parliament as a member of the Republican People's Party in the 18th, 19th, and 23rd election cycles, and in the 20th and 21st as a member of the True Path Party.
Genç was born in 1940 in Ramazanköy, a village in Nazimiye in Tunceli Province. Raised in a poor Alevi family, as a young man he spent summers with his father, Ali Genç, in Silahtarağa, Istanbul doing manual labor.
He was a successful student, and in 1960 he was accepted as a boarder at the Financial School in Ankara. However, when the school was closed for repairs, he had to continue his education at Tunceli High School for a time. Afterward he returned to the Financial School.
When his brother Hıdır was dying of measles, Kamer went to work with his father. In 1966, he graduated from Ankara Financial and Commercial Science Academy (now the Economic and Managerial Sciences branch of Gazi University). When he finished school, he began an internship at the Ministry of Finance and was appointed as a tax official in Bingöl.
Fethullah Gülen (born 27 April 1941) is a Turkish author, educator, and Muslim scholar. Gülen has been described in the English-language media as "one of the world's most important Muslim figures." He is the founder of the Gülen movement. He currently lives in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania, USA.
Gülen teaches an Anatolian version of Islam, deriving from Sunni Muslim scholar Bediüzzaman Said Nursi's teachings and modernizing them. Gülen has stated his belief in science, interfaith dialogue among the People of the Book, and multi-party democracy. He has initiated such dialogue with the Vatican and some Jewish organizations.
Gülen is actively involved in the societal debate concerning the future of the Turkish state, and Islam in the modern world. In the Turkish context Gülen appears relatively conservative and religiously observant.
His role in Turkish politics is a controversial one, and in 1999 he was put on trial for attempting to overthrow the government. He has since lived in exile in the United States. He was acquitted of the charges in 2008. He has been seen as supportive of Turkey's current prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, but news emerging in May 2012 emerged of a possible conflict between the two.
