Coel: My car! my food! my supplies!... my ass!
Cilla: You're first.::Rapist: This is none of your business.::Cilla: I'm the rapee, I should have something to say.::[pointing]::Cilla: You're next, and then you. Come on, honey.
Marissa: Listen, I just can't bring a child into this kind of a world. Maybe later. Huh, Carlos?... Huh?
Marshal McLuhan: You know? A good woman is like a steel brush. Think about it.
Marshal's man: I say we run them out of town::Marshal McLuhan: That's not the American way! Underneath those ridiculous clothes and destructive attitudes there beats a heart crying: Give me another chance! Who knows, they may be just around a dog lick from... good citizenship.
Marshal McLuhan: [to Coel] Everything you need to make it here is in that machine. Opportunity. Security. Self respect. [showing his jacket's back] One day you may be wearing these insignia. And that's democracy in action.

AM broadcasting is the process of radio broadcasting using amplitude modulation. AM was the first method of impressing sound on a radio signal and is still widely used today. Commercial and public AM broadcasting is carried out in the medium wave band world wide, and on long wave and short wave bands also. Once AM was the only commercially important method for broadcast signal modulation. Today, it competes with FM broadcasting for mobile reception of music and speech, as well as with various digital modes distributed from terrestrial and satellite transmitters.
AM was the dominant method of broadcasting during the first eighty years of the 20th century and remains widely used into the 21st.
AM radio began with the first, experimental broadcast on Christmas Eve, 1906, by Canadian experimenter Reginald Fessenden, and was used for small-scale voice and music broadcasts up until World War I. San Francisco, California, radio station KCBS claims to be the direct descendant of KQW, founded by radio experimenter Charles "Doc" Herrold, who made regular weekly broadcasts in San Jose, California, as early as June 1909. On that basis KCBS has claimed to be the world's oldest broadcast station and celebrated its 100th anniversary in the summer of 2009. The great increase in the use of AM radio came late in the following decade as radio experimentation increased worldwide following World War I. The first licensed commercial radio services began on AM in the 1920s. XWA of Montreal, Quebec (later CFCF, now CINW) claims status as the first commercial broadcaster in the world, with regular broadcasts commencing on May 20, 1920. The first licensed American radio station was started by Frank Conrad, KDKA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Radio programming boomed during the "Golden Age of Radio" (1920s–1950s). Dramas, comedy and all other forms of entertainment were produced, as well as broadcasts of news and music.
The One AM Radio is the musical project of Hrishikesh Hirway, a composer and songwriter from Los Angeles. The One AM Radio's sound is often characterized by Hrishikesh's lush, soothing vocals over dream-like instrumental arrangements. He does most of his own recording, playing several of the instruments and producing all the beats; the style borders electronica, folk, post-rock, chamber music, and ambient music.
Born in Massachusetts, Hrishikesh began The One AM Radio while a student at Yale University, where he studied art and film. After moving to Los Angeles, the project expanded to include new bandmates Scott Leahy and Fontaine Cole.
The One AM Radio's second album, A Name Writ In Water, was named by Time Out New York as one of the top 10 albums of 2004. A set of remixed tracks from that album was put out as an ep in January 2005, entitled On the Shore of the Wide World. The EP was the #1 download in iTunes' electronic genre for 3 weeks upon its release, and stayed in the top 10 for another 3 weeks after that.
William James Adams, Jr. (born March 15, 1975), better known by his stage name will.i.am ("will I am") is an American rapper, musician, songwriter, singer, entrepreneur, actor, DJ and producer.
Miley Ray Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus; November 23, 1992) is an American actress and pop singer-songwriter. She achieved wide fame for her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana.
Cyrus recorded music for the soundtracks, Hannah Montana (2006) and Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), released by Walt Disney Records. With the success of the Hannah Montana franchise she established herself as a teen idol. In 2007, Cyrus signed to Hollywood Records to pursue a solo career. She embarked upon the Best of Both Worlds Tour the same year, in which she performed as both herself and in character as Hannah Montana. The tour was eventually turned into a high-grossing concert film titled Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (2008). In July 2008, Cyrus released her first solo album, Breakout (2008), which was commercially successful.
She began her foray into film by providing the voice of "Penny" in the animated film Bolt (2008). Cyrus earned a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for her performance of Bolt's theme song, "I Thought I Lost You". She also reprised her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009). The Hannah Montana: The Movie' soundtrack introduced her to new audiences within country and adult contemporary markets.
French Montana (born November 9, 1984) is an American rapper and singer of Moroccan and Somali descent. He is the founder and CEO of Cocaine City Records, and in 2012, signed a joint venture recording deal with Maybach Music Group and Bad Boy Records. He is known for his frequent collaborations with Max B, and more recently with Rick Ross and with his group Coke Boys.
French Montana was born Karim Kharbouch in 1984 in Rabat, Morocco, where he lived for the first 13 years of his life. Growing up in Rabat, he was consumed by playing soccer and rapping, describing them as his two favorite childhood hobbies. In 1996, French emigrated with his parents and two younger brothers to the Bronx in New York City. His father left the family when French was 17, and so he began to provide for his mother and younger brothers.
In 2002, along with his friend Camz he created a series of street-flavoured DVD documentaries called 'Cocaine City' after drawing inspiration from the 'Smack' DVD series. Under the name Young French he used the DVDs as a means of showcasing his talent as an underground artist. To gain a broader fan base, French incorporated interviews with major artists, as well as some up and comers. The first edition in the series included Pee Wee Kirkland and Remy Ma alongside French himself among others. What started out as simply a medium for developing an audience quickly grew into one of the top-selling "street DVDs". The series ran for 8 years between 2002 and 2010, with a total of 14 editions being released.

You can hear the music on the AM radio
The VCR and the DVD
There wasn't none of that crap back in 1970
We didn't know about a World Wide Web
It was a whole different game being played back when I was a kid
Wanna get down in a cool way
Picture yourself on a beautiful day
Big bell bottoms and groovy long hair
Just walkin' in style with a portable CD player
No, you would listen to the music on the AM radio
Yeah, you could hear the music on a AM radio
Flashback, '72
Another summer in the neighborhood
Hangin' out with nothing to do
Sometmes we'd go drivin' around
In my sister's Pinto
Cruisin' with the windows rolled down
We'd listen to the radio station
We were too damn cool to buy the eight track tapes
There wasn't any good time to want to be inside
My mama wanna watch that TV all goddamn night
I'd be in bed with the radio on
I would listen to it all night long
Just to hear my favorite song
You'd have to wait but you could hear it on the AM radio
Yeah, you could hear the music on a AM radio
I can still hear Mama say €œBoy turn that radio down!€?
€œAw, Mom. Not that show again! I don't wanna watch that show! Can't we watch Good Times or Chico and the Man or something cool? Turn it off!"
Things changed back in '75
We were all growing up on the in and the outside
We got in trouble with the police man
We got busted gettin' high in the back of my friend's van
I remember 1977
I started going to concerts and I saw the Led Zeppelin
I got a guitar on Christmas day
I dreamed that Jimmy Page would come from Santa Monica and teach me to play
Teach me to play...
There isn't any place that I need to go
There isn't anything that I need to know
I did not learn from the radio
Yeah when things get stupid and I just don't know
Where to find my happy
I listen to my music on the AM radio
You can hear the music on a AM radio
You can hear the music on a AM radio
I like pop, I like soul, I like rock, but I never liked disco
I like pop, I like soul, I like rock, but I never liked disco
We like pop, we like soul, we like rock, but we never liked disco...

I just want to be lost
in a crowded room
So I don't have to hear
your point of view
You know I don't care
about what you say
and it's the way you say it too
So why did you come to me?
When you knew that
you didn't believe
What did you expect
to get from telling me?
You don't understand
anything or how I am
I just wanna be loved
I just wanna be loved by you
I wanna be loved
I wanna be loved
Wanna be loved
I just want you to stay
away from me
With all your lies
I don't believe
So why did you come to me?

Let's Go
Just met a pornstar
She is an actress
Because in real life
She won't admit this
She doesn't want anyone to know
So she pretends she's someone else
But I found her out anyway
After she told me that she had a boyfriend
Had enough, had enough, had enough
Of this stuff, of this stuff, of this stuff
And I'm sure that you don't really mind
That you're taking me for one hell of a ride
He's a manager, in show biz
He said I'd be a star
But now what's this
He stopped returning all my calls
When I couldn't make him anymore
Money, it changes everything
When he said that I'd always be a superstar
Had enough, had enough, had enough
Of this stuff, of this stuff, of this stuff
And I'm sure that you don't really mind
That you're taking me for one hell of a ride
You're taking me for a ride (2x)
Had enough, had enough, had enough
Of this stuff, of this stuff, of this stuff
And I'm sure that you don't really mind
There is a reason why I can't speak
Our short conversation means everything to me
Fine young teacher, I need help with my cursive
Bronze that apple I was so proud to give you
This is my wall that fell for you
A.M. radio
Reminding us to take the first steps forward slowly
With you and the ride of our life,
We'll both be sharing shotgun to love
Now in the moment, all falls into focus
Time, just a number warped while I'm wrapped in you
This is my wall that fell for you
So our blurry lines are not more defined
When I'm feeling your tongue on mine
A.M. radio
Reminding us to take the first steps forward slowly
With you and the ride of our life,
