Pangaea, Pangæa, or Pangea ( /pænˈdʒiːə/ pan-JEE-ə;) was a supercontinent that existed during the late Paleozoic and early Mesozoic eras, forming about 300 million years ago and beginning to rift around 200 million years ago, before the component continents were separated into their current configurations. The single global ocean which surrounded Pangaea is accordingly named Panthalassa.
The name Pangaea is derived from Ancient Greek, pan (πᾶν) meaning "entire," and Gaia (Γαῖα) meaning "Earth." The name was coined during a 1927 symposium discussing Alfred Wegener's theory of continental drift. In his book The Origin of Continents and Oceans (Die Entstehung der Kontinente und Ozeane), first published in 1915, he postulated that all the continents had at one time formed a single supercontinent which he called the "Urkontinent", before later breaking up and drifting to their present locations.
The forming of supercontinents and their breaking up appears to be cyclical through Earth's 4.6 billion year history. There may have been several others before Pangaea. The fourth-last supercontinent, called Columbia or Nuna, appears to have assembled in the period 2.0-1.8 Ga. Columbia/Nuna broke up and the next supercontinent, Rodinia, formed from the accretion and assembly of its fragments. Rodinia lasted from about 1.1 billion years ago (Ga) until about 750 million years ago but its exact configuration and geodynamic history are not nearly as well understood as the later supercontinents, Pannotia and Pangaea.

Closed off, we wake from the dusk... (the dusk)
Only to step out into open air, just to see the same clouds opening. (Yahh)
Into open air... only to step out...
If this is a place people dream of, (people dream of)
Insomnia is the only cure - the only antidote.
You've been deceived into thinking this is the perfect life.
It's an illusion to your perception. You've been deceived.
I wish time was still ancient so I could bridge the gap (bridge the gap)
Between here, between there, between you and I. (between you and I)
Frustration is setting in. I am seeing red. (I'm seeing red)
This blessing is a curse. I am seeing red. (I am seeing red)
Counting all the things that I took for granted. Counting down the days.
Watching the clock as it just stands still... to just sail away, sail away,
Sail away.
Waiting for the morning that takes me home, that takes me home, to take me
Home.
This bittersweet dream that I dreamt. Oh Pangaea.
All of this is worth every penny - every cent.
I would give back everything just to be back... back home.
This is a bittersweet dream I've dreamt. Oh Pangaea, where have you gone?
I'm at all four corners of this world. Oh Pangaea, what have you done?
This is a bittersweet dream I've dreamt. Oh Pangaea, where have you gone?
She hides her katana in the shower,
You see she sings when she comes out,
She sings when she comes out,
She sings when she comes...
Here little kitten sitting in the sunlight,
I bet you're dreaming that you are a lion now,
Cuz you are a lion now,
Oh you're such a lion...
Here's to the boys that stay up all night,
Here's to the floors we passed out on,
I dream of mornings in her bedroom,
Well all my bad habits are gone *
Cause I'm the bird outside your window
Singing songs before you wake
Oh it's just one heart break after one heart break,
Tell me how much can you take...
Straight face and few one liners
Oh my sweet talkers
Just like suga on your ta ta ta ta ta tongue...
I'm just a lion lying to ya darling,
Oh, this crown means shit,
No, I'm not the king
But I can give you anything
You know I can give you anything, oh...
You know I can... you know I can...
Here's to the boys that stay up all night
Here's to the floors we passed out on
I dream of mornings in her bedroom
Well all my bad habits are gone
Cause I'm the bird outside your window
Singing songs before you wake
Oh it's just one heart break after one heart break
Tell me how much can you take...
Here's to the boys who stay up all night
Here's to the floors we passed out on
I dream of mornings in her bedroom
Well all my bad habits are gone
Cuz I'm the bird outside your window
singing songs before you wake
it's just one heartbreak after one heartbreak
tell me how much can you take?

We started as one, then we drifted
separated as continents that shifted
all the pieces fit can't you see the
togetherness Visionaries Pangaea
[KeyKool]
It all began together
before we ever ran together
before we ever took a stand together
we understand that whether or not
we tether a knot for humanity
we must stand to weather the hatred. separation
it's easier to make than break it we're breakin'
stereotypes with the yes yall on the mic
get yourself right we're not all alike
but fall right into place face adversity
appreciate diversity nursery to university
past any degree see universally
dispersing the verse commercially or underground
one love bound by culture and sound
been around the world and no denying
we're all under the same sun so keep shining
[LMNO]
The planet's so small with all the origins
which ever one you're in we get the light pouring in
we pass segregation with unification
savages invading civilizations
riddle the nation with belittlement
we lift off without aviation we're only divided by distance
it's an honor this is outstanding
an 8 year flight came in for the landing
we spread all over the map
instead of stripping the culture we give love back

As I walk through the labyrinth halls past the cell walls
I recall a 200,000 dream of an African Queen passing her genes
to all of our mothers silver spoons to the gutter redeem the structure
we've seen destruction and how we rebuild from nothing

Do you remember the day I said I'd write you love songs?
