W/S Gerasimov leading the meeting with various military attache [CUTAWAY] SCRIPT Observers of Russia's Armed Forces have been sent to the Ukrainian region of Donetsk, Chief of the General Staff confirmed in Moscow on Wednesday. At a meeting with various foreign military attaches, General Gerasimov confirmed the team is being led by Lieutenant General Alexander Lentsov and will inspect the residential area of Debaltsevo. Gerasimov emphasised the primary task of the mission is to work in conjunction with the OSCE to help reach a compromise in de-escalating the conflict in the area. The meeting was attended by 70 military attaches from a combined total of 50 states, who all took part in the meeting.
