Annoyance
Annoyance is an unpleasant mental state that is characterized by such effects as irritation and distraction from one's conscious thinking. It can lead to emotions such as frustration and anger. The property of being easily annoyed is called irritability.
Psychology
Various reasons exist for why one finds particular stimuli annoying. Measurement of annoyance is highly subjective. As an attempt at measurement, psychological studies on annoyance often rely on their subjects' own ratings of levels of annoyance on a scale. Any kind of stimuli can cause annoyance, such as getting poked in the side or listening to a song repeatedly. Many stimuli that one is at first neutral to, or even finds pleasant, can turn into annoyances from repeated continued exposure. One can often encounter this phenomenon with such media as popular music, memes, commercials, and advertising jingles, which by their very nature are continually repeated over a period of weeks or months.
A study published in the International Journal of Conflict Management found that one's response to an annoyance, at least when the perceived cause is another person, escalate to more extreme levels as they go unresolved. It also found that one was more likely to blame the party who was causing the annoyance in the study, rather than one's self, for the annoyance as it escalated.

the mix was really tough on this one. i actually mixed the song to perfection maybe 5 times, but my DAW kept deleting the effects after i exported, and after each export, some of the vocals lost their effects anyway. so i had to take a longer route, and i think the mix suffered. in the end, im calling it quits, i hope you'll like it anyway. thanks as always for your dope comments too, i read them all and every one of them means the world to me (and also helps out the algorithm a lil bit lmao)

so this is a big tone shift from my last 2 uploads lol. also, no rap?? wtf?? haha. i like to imagine it as a good representation of the relationship between demon-chan (my image character) and karen (myself, actually). it's a bit harsh and edgy, but i think imagining it in the realm of fiction is more fun. i love this song. the tone is exactly what i've wanted demondice as a whole to aim towards.
the mix was really tough on this one. i actually mixed the song to perfection maybe 5 times, but my DAW kept deleting the effects after i exported, and after each export, some of the vocals lost their effects anyway. so i had to take a longer route, and i think the mix suffered. in the end, im calling it quits, i hope you'll like it anyway. thanks as always for your dope comments too, i read them all and every one of them means the world to me (and also helps out the algorithm a lil bit lmao)

We all have pet peeves. We all get annoyed by things that really don’t matter much, whether it’s someone chewing with their mouth open, or someone whispering the Rosary in an Adoration chapel—which are two things that used to be pet peeves for Fr. Mike. But he learned a better way to deal with annoyances.
Why do we get so annoyed by such petty things? It’s because being annoyed is a choice.
Fr. Mike tells a quick story about prisoners of war in Vietnam. They were put in a really small cell where they were so close together they had to sleep touching each other. The prisoners came to an agreement that if they were annoyed by something another prisoner does, the one who is annoyed is the one at fault. This helped them rise about their situation.
There are four possible choices when you’re annoyed:
1. I can choose to be annoyed. This is not recommended.
2. I can actively choose to rise above the annoyance and grow in patience.
3. I can do something about it and let it move me to positive action.
4. Instead of saying that person annoys me, I can say that person sanctifies me.
Next time you get annoyed, try numbers two through four.

We all have pet peeves. We all get annoyed by things that really don’t matter much, whether it’s someone chewing with their mouth open, or someone whispering the Rosary in an Adoration chapel—which are two things that used to be pet peeves for Fr. Mike. But he learned a better way to deal with annoyances.
Why do we get so annoyed by such petty things? It’s because being annoyed is a choice.
Fr. Mike tells a quick story about prisoners of war in Vietnam. They were put in a really small cell where they were so close together they had to sleep touching each other. The prisoners came to an agreement that if they were annoyed by something another prisoner does, the one who is annoyed is the one at fault. This helped them rise about their situation.
There are four possible choices when you’re annoyed:
1. I can choose to be annoyed. This is not recommended.
2. I can actively choose to rise above the annoyance and grow in patience.
3. I can do something about it and let it move me to positive action.
4. Instead of saying that person annoys me, I can say that person sanctifies me.
Next time you get annoyed, try numbers two through four.

Annoyance
Annoyance is an unpleasant mental state that is characterized by such effects as irritation and distraction from one's conscious thinking. It can lead to emotions such as frustration and anger. The property of being easily annoyed is called irritability.
Psychology
Various reasons exist for why one finds particular stimuli annoying. Measurement of annoyance is highly subjective. As an attempt at measurement, psychological studies on annoyance often rely on their subjects' own ratings of levels of annoyance on a scale. Any kind of stimuli can cause annoyance, such as getting poked in the side or listening to a song repeatedly. Many stimuli that one is at first neutral to, or even finds pleasant, can turn into annoyances from repeated continued exposure. One can often encounter this phenomenon with such media as popular music, memes, commercials, and advertising jingles, which by their very nature are continually repeated over a period of weeks or months.
A study published in the International Journal of Conflict Management found that one's response to an annoyance, at least when the perceived cause is another person, escalate to more extreme levels as they go unresolved. It also found that one was more likely to blame the party who was causing the annoyance in the study, rather than one's self, for the annoyance as it escalated.
