Hatinggabi
di mapakali
pikit mga mata
ngunit ang aking isip ay
hindi mapalagay
tulungan mo akong limutin ka
Ako ba ang nagkamali
Ako ba ang nagkamali
At sa iyong paghimlay
buhay koy biglang tumamlay
lihim kong dinaramdam
ang iyong paglisan
bakas sa aking mata
kay rami ko pang hindi masabi
Ako ba ang nagkamali
Ako ba ang nagkamali
Maari bang sabihin sayo
Yakapin
yakapin mo ako
at kung hindi mabigyan ng isang pagkakataon
maaari bang ipagpaliban
ang iyong
Paglisan...
Paglisan...
Ako ba ang nagkamali
Ako ba ang nagkamali
Maaari bang sabihin sayo
Yakapin
yakapin mo ako
at kung hindi mabigyan
ng isang pagkakataon
maaari bang ipagpaliban
ang iyong
paglisan
Paglisan..
Verse 1:
Nahihirapan na ang aking isip
Nauubusan na ng sasabihin sa iyo..
Nanlalamig na ba ang pag-ibig mo sa kin..
Giliw..
Verse 2:
Nalilito ako, nais kong sagipin ang ating
Nalulunod na pag-ibig
Ngunit handa akong palayain ka
Kung ito ang yong hiling
Gaano man kasakit sa akin
Ibibigay sa yo
Ang tanging pakiusap lang
Wag mo akong kalimutan..
Refrain:
Kay rami nang nagdaan
Na pagsubok sa ting pag-ibig
Kakayanin pa kayang mabawi pa
Ang mga nasabi nang masasakit na salita..
Kung ito ang yong hiling
Gaano man kasakit sa akin..
Ibibigay sa yo..
Well i think it's plain to see
I know you probably heard this tale before
Sung a million times
Everytime i look at you
I know you feel it too
It's burning a hole inside
Like broken glass it cuts you
I know what you believe in
Is beautiful unlike your demands
Well i'm so impressed
With how you've progressed
Into this thing that has taken over you
Life is a wasteland
And you're driving out of control
Your life is a wasteland
Driving straight into my soul. Tonight
Well it has taken me
Felt like eternity
Colder than your embrace
Can you look upon your life without regret?
Can you look me in the eye and say.
"I know you so well, you can't live to tell,
Can't possibly survive coz you don't know how."
You're silence means nothing to me
I am much braver now
What i need to know
Am i free to beg?
I sold half my soul
Am i free to keep the other half?
And i know you're trying to justify
You say i am the one who's damned
Well, free your wretched eyes
Hatred is blinding you
Look at me now
Am i as damned as you?
I hear you whispering in my ear
You smiled at me and then you said:
"i know you so well, you can't live to tell
Cant possibly survive coz you don't know how."
What you need to know
You are free to lie
You sold half my soul
And now you want the other half
And i know you're trying to justify
Say i am the one to blame
Well, free your clouded mind
Your anger is deafening you
Look at me now.
you with the marble eyes fragile with porcelain bones you look at the stars and you wonder why are you as hungry as i? (yesterday's news but still new to me)
i can't see me or someone i used to be i can't see you now or someone who used to be you are you someone new? are you someone i used to know? have you been there before? have you seen me before?
Screaming in the dark
You try to gasp for air
Invisible at times
You start to notice
You sit and stare
Waiting for a sign
Can you see?
Far beyond your imagination
In your dreams
Lie the meaning of your existence
You start to twist and turn
You've got nowhere to run
Your eyes are getting tired
When will you understand?
Everything you see is temporary
This is what we have
We're just passing by... Just passing by...
The sun is rising but i'm still awake,
My nightingale,
Was it a dream that you were here with me all night
Did we gaze upon the stars?
Did we kiss under the pale moonlight?
My nightingale...
Chorus:
Was it a dream but it feels so real
But it feels so real
This time i'm gonna make it right
This time it's only you and i
Leave all your worries behind
Bridge:
And i can't hide my love for you is divine
You are the nest that cradles my heart
Was it a dream
That you are here with me
Was it a dream
That you are here with me
Was it a dream
That you are here with me
Was it a dream
That you are here with me
Was it a dream
That you are here with me
Was it a dream
Darling when I'm gone
Shed not one tear for me
I always loved you
Just not like before
Refrain:
We've grown apart
All these years together
I promised you forever
But nothing can stay the same
Not even our love was strong enough to save us
Now.
Enough to save us. Now
When I am away
Sing no sad love songs
I promise it will be alright
In time, you'll be fine
Bridge:
The love I have for you remains
Our memories are hard to let go. Woh-oh
But if someday we still feel the same way
Then I'll be the one to save you
