Darren Roy Mack (born January 31, 1961) became the subject of an international manhunt in June 2006 after being charged with the stabbing death of his 39-year-old estranged wife, Charla Mack, in the garage of their Reno, Nevada home. Mack was also suspected of, and later charged with, the sniper shooting of Family Court Judge Chuck Weller, who was handling the couple’s acrimonious divorce. Charla Mack was murdered after 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2006, and Judge Weller was shot around 11:05 a.m. the same day. Judge Weller spent time recovering, and returned to his courtroom on August 16.
According to a close friend, Mack was angry over a divorce settlement issued by Judge Weller. In addition to child support capped by state law at $849 per month, Darren Mack was ordered to pay $10,000 per month for spousal support plus household expenses. Darren Mack's gross monthly income was approximately $44,000 (528,000/yr), while his wife had no income.
Mack evaded police for 10 days, during which time he was featured on the Fox show America's Most Wanted and the FBI’s Most Wanted website. Mack was a hunter and sportsman and records show he owned a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and a Bushmaster .223 semi-automatic rifle. Police said he possessed a federal firearms license and permit to carry a concealed weapon. A search of his apartment found ammunition and bomb materials. Mack surrendered to Mexican authorities after they surrounded him at a resort's pool in Puerto Vallarta on June 22, 2006. The following day he was flown to Dallas, Texas for booking, and returned to Reno. Authorities located Mack’s rented silver Ford Explorer in Ensenada.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea on the charge of attempted murder.
Mack was originally defended by attorneys Scott Freeman of Reno and David Chesnoff of Las Vegas. Chesnoff has built a national reputation by representing celebrities including Martha Stewart and Britney Spears. The Washoe County District Attorney recused his office from the case because of a longstanding personal relationship with Darren Mack, and because he could be a witness. Chief Deputy DA Robert Daskas and Assistant DA Christopher Lalli of the Clark County District Attorney’s office handled the prosecution.
At a preliminary hearing on August 30, 2006, Mack was held over for trial. His defense attorneys sought a court-ordered mental competency evaluation. On September 11, prosecutors announced they would not seek the death penalty. Mack pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment on September 13, and his trial was set for October 1, 2007. As of October 4, 2006, attorney Scott Freeman tried to get Mack's attempted murder charge dropped.
Following his earlier decision in the criminal cases, on October 13 Senior Judge J. Charles Thompson disqualified the entire Washoe County bench from all civil cases against Mack.[26] The trial was moved to Las Vegas, and Clark County District Judge Douglas Herndon was appointed to the case.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea to the attempted murder charge, just as the trial was to begin, in exchange for a recommendation by the prosecutor for life in prison with parole available after 20 years. The judge was not bound by the sentencing recommendation. Mack said during the plea, "I do understand right now in my state of mind that shooting at the judiciary is not a proper form of political redress".
Mack attempted to withdraw his pleas, saying he was coerced by Chesnoff and Freeman and that his signature was forged. Judge Douglas Herndon denied Mack's motion to withdraw, filed by his new defense attorney William Routsis. During sentencing, Routsis continued to renew his requests for Herndon to grant Mack a new trial.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Herndon sentenced Mack to life in prison for murdering his wife. He also gave Mack the maximum sentence of 40 years, with parole eligibility after 16 years, for the attempted murder of Judge Weller and a deadly weapon enhancement. The sentences run consecutively, rendering Mack ineligible for parole for at least 36 years. Another hearing on his arguments was scheduled for April 2008.
On March 18, 2008, a Washoe County jury delivered a $590 million settlement against Mack in the wrongful-death lawsuit of his wife, Charla. $560 million was awarded to the couple's young daughter, Erika, with the remainder to go to his wife's estate.
UPDATE: January 16, 2013 The body of the woman found in an alley in the 1200 block of S Ainsworth in Tacoma has been identified as 22 year old nursing student Tyliah Young
UPDATE: The Tacoma Police department has now confirmed that the body found in the alley at So. 14th street and So Ainsworth was a female in her early 20's and not a male as previously suspected. The cause of death is still undetermined and the investigation is ongoing. Tacoma PD PIO Loretta Cool said that an autopsy will not be preformed for at least two days due to the body being frozen solid. We will update you as soon as more information becomes availabe.
Tacoma Washington January 13, 2013 3:30PM Tacoma police responded to a 911 call of a mans body in and alley at South 14th and South Ainsworth Street this afternoon around 3:30 PM When police and fire arrived on scene they found the deceesed body of a man that appeared to be in his late 20's to early 30's laying just off the alley between two garages up against a fence. Detective Loretta Cool, public information officer for Tacoma Police said this evening, " What we know right now is we have a body in an Alley. We have no further information as of yet Officers are canvasing the nieghborhood and going door to door looking for leads.." The case is being investigated and Detective Cool said she will update us when she has more information.

Patrick Trueman
Patrick Neville Loftus Delwinn Alfonso Trueman is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Rudolph Walker. He made his first appearance on 13 September 2001. His storylines include being the possible father of local resident Denise Fox (Diane Parish), his marriage to Yolande Duke (Angela Wynter), an affair with Pat Butcher (Pam St. Clement), coping with the death of his adoptive son Paul Trueman (Gary Beadle), being assaulted by an unknown assailant in his own shop, coping when Ben Mitchell (Joshua Pascoe) and his father Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) begin a vendetta against him, a relationship with Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell), being injured after falling from a ladder, discovering that Denise's fiancé Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) had sex with prostitute Rainie Cross (Tanya Franks) and suffering a stroke. Backstory
Born in Trinidad, Patrick came to the UK in the 1950s to find work. He was subjected to racism and, during the 1958 Notting Hill race riots, was convicted of assault, while his fiancée Ruth was killed in a fire lit by Tommy Clifford who was a Teddy boy. Patrick played in a band named "The Five Hectors", which eventually disbanded. Later, he married a religious woman named Audrey (Corinne Skinner-Carter) in a shotgun wedding in 1969 after she allegedly fell pregnant with his son, Paul (Gary Beadle). In 1970, they had a second child, Anthony (Nicholas Bailey), but Patrick left Audrey and the children shortly after.

Patrick Star
Patrick Star is a fictional character in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. He is voiced by actor Bill Fagerbakke, who also voices numerous other characters on the show. Created and designed by marine biologist and cartoonist Stephen Hillenburg, the series creator, Patrick first appeared on television in the show's pilot episode "Help Wanted" on May 1, 1999.
Depicted as an overweight, dimwitted pink starfish, Patrick lives under a rock in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom next door to Squidward Tentacles' moai. Darren Roy Mack (born January 31, 1961) became the subject of an international manhunt in June 2006 after being charged with the stabbing death of his 39-year-old estranged wife, Charla Mack, in the garage of their Reno, Nevada home. Mack was also suspected of, and later charged with, the sniper shooting of Family Court Judge Chuck Weller, who was handling the couple’s acrimonious divorce. Charla Mack was murdered after 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2006, and Judge Weller was shot around 11:05 a.m. the same day. Judge Weller spent time recovering, and returned to his courtroom on August 16.
According to a close friend, Mack was angry over a divorce settlement issued by Judge Weller. In addition to child support capped by state law at $849 per month, Darren Mack was ordered to pay $10,000 per month for spousal support plus household expenses. Darren Mack's gross monthly income was approximately $44,000 (528,000/yr), while his wife had no income.
Mack evaded police for 10 days, during which time he was featured on the Fox show America's Most Wanted and the FBI’s Most Wanted website. Mack was a hunter and sportsman and records show he owned a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and a Bushmaster .223 semi-automatic rifle. Police said he possessed a federal firearms license and permit to carry a concealed weapon. A search of his apartment found ammunition and bomb materials. Mack surrendered to Mexican authorities after they surrounded him at a resort's pool in Puerto Vallarta on June 22, 2006. The following day he was flown to Dallas, Texas for booking, and returned to Reno. Authorities located Mack’s rented silver Ford Explorer in Ensenada.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea on the charge of attempted murder.
Mack was originally defended by attorneys Scott Freeman of Reno and David Chesnoff of Las Vegas. Chesnoff has built a national reputation by representing celebrities including Martha Stewart and Britney Spears. The Washoe County District Attorney recused his office from the case because of a longstanding personal relationship with Darren Mack, and because he could be a witness. Chief Deputy DA Robert Daskas and Assistant DA Christopher Lalli of the Clark County District Attorney’s office handled the prosecution.
At a preliminary hearing on August 30, 2006, Mack was held over for trial. His defense attorneys sought a court-ordered mental competency evaluation. On September 11, prosecutors announced they would not seek the death penalty. Mack pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment on September 13, and his trial was set for October 1, 2007. As of October 4, 2006, attorney Scott Freeman tried to get Mack's attempted murder charge dropped.
Following his earlier decision in the criminal cases, on October 13 Senior Judge J. Charles Thompson disqualified the entire Washoe County bench from all civil cases against Mack.[26] The trial was moved to Las Vegas, and Clark County District Judge Douglas Herndon was appointed to the case.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea to the attempted murder charge, just as the trial was to begin, in exchange for a recommendation by the prosecutor for life in prison with parole available after 20 years. The judge was not bound by the sentencing recommendation. Mack said during the plea, "I do understand right now in my state of mind that shooting at the judiciary is not a proper form of political redress".
Mack attempted to withdraw his pleas, saying he was coerced by Chesnoff and Freeman and that his signature was forged. Judge Douglas Herndon denied Mack's motion to withdraw, filed by his new defense attorney William Routsis. During sentencing, Routsis continued to renew his requests for Herndon to grant Mack a new trial.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Herndon sentenced Mack to life in prison for murdering his wife. He also gave Mack the maximum sentence of 40 years, with parole eligibility after 16 years, for the attempted murder of Judge Weller and a deadly weapon enhancement. The sentences run consecutively, rendering Mack ineligible for parole for at least 36 years. Another hearing on his arguments was scheduled for April 2008.
On March 18, 2008, a Washoe County jury delivered a $590 million settlement against Mack in the wrongful-death lawsuit of his wife, Charla. $560 million was awarded to the couple's young daughter, Erika, with the remainder to go to his wife's estate.

UPDATE: The Tacoma Police department has now confirmed that the body found in the alley at So. 14th street and So Ainsworth was a female in her early 20's and not a male as previously suspected. The cause of death is still undetermined and the investigation is ongoing. Tacoma PD PIO Loretta Cool said that an autopsy will not be preformed for at least two days due to the body being frozen solid. We will update you as soon as more information becomes availabe.

Detective Loretta Cool, public information officer for Tacoma Police said this evening, " What we know right now is we have a body in an Alley. We have no further information as of yet Officers are canvasing the nieghborhood and going door to door looking for leads.." The case is being investigated and Detective Cool said she will update us when she has more information.

Darren Roy Mack (born January 31, 1961) became the subject of an international manhunt in June 2006 after being charged with the stabbing death of his 39-year-old estranged wife, Charla Mack, in the garage of their Reno, Nevada home. Mack was also suspected of, and later charged with, the sniper shooting of Family Court Judge Chuck Weller, who was handling the couple’s acrimonious divorce. Charla Mack was murdered after 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2006, and Judge Weller was shot around 11:05 a.m. the same day. Judge Weller spent time recovering, and returned to his courtroom on August 16.
According to a close friend, Mack was angry over a divorce settlement issued by Judge Weller. In addition to child support capped by state law at $849 per month, Darren Mack was ordered to pay $10,000 per month for spousal support plus household expenses. Darren Mack's gross monthly income was approximately $44,000 (528,000/yr), while his wife had no income.
Mack evaded police for 10 days, during which time he was featured on the Fox show America's Most Wanted and the FBI’s Most Wanted website. Mack was a hunter and sportsman and records show he owned a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun and a Bushmaster .223 semi-automatic rifle. Police said he possessed a federal firearms license and permit to carry a concealed weapon. A search of his apartment found ammunition and bomb materials. Mack surrendered to Mexican authorities after they surrounded him at a resort's pool in Puerto Vallarta on June 22, 2006. The following day he was flown to Dallas, Texas for booking, and returned to Reno. Authorities located Mack’s rented silver Ford Explorer in Ensenada.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea on the charge of attempted murder.
Mack was originally defended by attorneys Scott Freeman of Reno and David Chesnoff of Las Vegas. Chesnoff has built a national reputation by representing celebrities including Martha Stewart and Britney Spears. The Washoe County District Attorney recused his office from the case because of a longstanding personal relationship with Darren Mack, and because he could be a witness. Chief Deputy DA Robert Daskas and Assistant DA Christopher Lalli of the Clark County District Attorney’s office handled the prosecution.
At a preliminary hearing on August 30, 2006, Mack was held over for trial. His defense attorneys sought a court-ordered mental competency evaluation. On September 11, prosecutors announced they would not seek the death penalty. Mack pleaded not guilty to the charges at an arraignment on September 13, and his trial was set for October 1, 2007. As of October 4, 2006, attorney Scott Freeman tried to get Mack's attempted murder charge dropped.
Following his earlier decision in the criminal cases, on October 13 Senior Judge J. Charles Thompson disqualified the entire Washoe County bench from all civil cases against Mack.[26] The trial was moved to Las Vegas, and Clark County District Judge Douglas Herndon was appointed to the case.
On November 5, 2007, Mack pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and entered an Alford plea to the attempted murder charge, just as the trial was to begin, in exchange for a recommendation by the prosecutor for life in prison with parole available after 20 years. The judge was not bound by the sentencing recommendation. Mack said during the plea, "I do understand right now in my state of mind that shooting at the judiciary is not a proper form of political redress".
Mack attempted to withdraw his pleas, saying he was coerced by Chesnoff and Freeman and that his signature was forged. Judge Douglas Herndon denied Mack's motion to withdraw, filed by his new defense attorney William Routsis. During sentencing, Routsis continued to renew his requests for Herndon to grant Mack a new trial.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Herndon sentenced Mack to life in prison for murdering his wife. He also gave Mack the maximum sentence of 40 years, with parole eligibility after 16 years, for the attempted murder of Judge Weller and a deadly weapon enhancement. The sentences run consecutively, rendering Mack ineligible for parole for at least 36 years. Another hearing on his arguments was scheduled for April 2008.
On March 18, 2008, a Washoe County jury delivered a $590 million settlement against Mack in the wrongful-death lawsuit of his wife, Charla. $560 million was awarded to the couple's young daughter, Erika, with the remainder to go to his wife's estate.

UPDATE: January 16, 2013 The body of the woman found in an alley in the 1200 block of S Ainsworth in Tacoma has been identified as 22 year old nursing student Tyliah Young
UPDATE: The Tacoma Police department has now confirmed that the body found in the alley at So. 14th street and So Ainsworth was a female in her early 20's and not a male as previously suspected. The cause of death is still undetermined and the investigation is ongoing. Tacoma PD PIO Loretta Cool said that an autopsy will not be preformed for at least two days due to the body being frozen solid. We will update you as soon as more information becomes availabe.
Tacoma Washington January 13, 2013 3:30PM Tacoma police responded to a 911 call of a mans body in and alley at South 14th and South Ainsworth Street this afternoon around 3:30 PM When police and fire arrived on scene they found the deceesed body of a man that appeared to be in his late 20's to early 30's laying just off the alley between two garages up against a fence. Detective Loretta Cool, public information officer for Tacoma Police said this evening, " What we know right now is we have a body in an Alley. We have no further information as of yet Officers are canvasing the nieghborhood and going door to door looking for leads.." The case is being investigated and Detective Cool said she will update us when she has more information.

Clocking in at nearly nine hours (spread over three days) - this is the full raw video of Rich Paul being tried and found guilty by a jury of his so-called peers of selling cannabis and something that the state claimed he said was LSD, but it was not and he never claimed it was. The trial video features FBI agent Phil Christiana who perjures himself and several cops including drug task force members as well as snitch and heroin dealer Richard DuPont Jr.

Le spectacle est plus qu’un simple concert de reprises de chansons de GEORGES MOUSTAKI.
A travers celles-ci, le public et les musiciens vont vivre le parcours de l’artiste depuis sa naissance et son adolescence à Alexandrie, sa montée à Paris, son passage à Bruxelles, à Saint Germain des Prés, la rencontre de Brassens, Piaf, Barbara, mai 68, et l’arrivée du succès avec « Le Métèque ».
Ensuite, ce sera Moustaki citoyen du monde, de l’Europe au Japon, et toute l’Amérique latine et particulièrement le Brésil.
Ce sera aussi le Moustaki engagé, épris de liberté et défenseur de la démocratie... le Moustaki de la révolution permanente.
Des témoignages, des anecdotes, des extraits de poésie, d’articles de presse entre les chansons, le tout dans un rythme enlevé pour que les chansons ne se fassent pas trop attendre.

De show is meer dan een rij covers van chansons van Georges Moustaki.
Met die chansons zullen publiek en muzikanten de reis van de kunstenaar overdoen vanaf zijn geboorte en jeugd in Alexandrië, zijn doorbraak in Parijs, zijn verblijf in Brussel, de ontmoetingen in Saint Germain des Prés met Brassens, Piaf, Barbara, daarna Mei 68, en uiteindelijk het grote succes met "Le Métèque".
Moustaki is ook een wereldburger: Europa, Japan, Latijns-Amerika, vooral Brazilië. La Música Popular Brasileira met bossa, samba, forró onder andere, en Carlos Jobim, João Gilberto, Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes, of Gilberto Gil ... Hij sluit Bahia in zijn hart, en zijn vrienden Jorge Amado en Zelia.
En er is ook de Moustaki die verliefd is op de vrijheid en verdediger van de democratie toen Spanje nog leed onder Franco , Griekenland geleid werd door de kolonels, Argentinië door de junta van Videla, je had Pinochet's Chili en Brazilië onder de militaire dictatuur ... de Moustaki van de “permanente revolutie”, vriend van Mikis Theodorakis, Paco Ibanez, Astor Piazolla...
