Plot
It's the hottest spot in the city. But wait! It isn't a club, it's a laundry mat and cyber café where the singles go to see, be seen and O.D. on caffeine. The singles come to wash their dirty laundry and air it out. The Melting pot is the cyber café connected to the Dirty Laundry where much of the drama takes place. Silk is the over the top, gay, flamboyant manager who quarter backs the crazy cast of singles. Silk has the uncanny knack of refereeing the drama and simultaneously promoting it. A melting pot of race, sex and cultures provides this show with extreme opposites. Soap in the City can take this to new heights by being the first show to truly profile modern American society and its multi cultural co existence without looking forced and yet push the envelope of socio political stereotypical correctness.

Tantra (Sanskrit: तन्त्र, "loom, warp"; hence "principle, system, doctrine, theory", from the verbal root tan "stretch, extend, expand", and the suffix tra "instrument"), anglicised as tantrism or tantricism, is the name scholars give to a style of religious ritual and meditation that arose in medieval India no later than the fifth century CE, and which came to influence all forms of Asian religious expression to a greater or lesser degree. Strictly speaking, this usage of the word "tantra" is a scholarly invention, but it is justifiable on the basis of the fact that the scriptures that present these practices are generally known as "tantras", regardless of which religion they belong to.
The historical significance of the Tantric method lies in the fact that it impacted every major Asian religion extant in the early medieval period (c. 500 - 1200 CE): thus Shaivism, Buddhism, Vaishnavism, and Jainism all developed a well-documented body of Tantric practices and related doctrines. Even Islam in India was influenced by Tantra. Tantric ideas and practices spread far outside of India, into Tibet, Nepal, China, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Today, it is Tibetan Buddhism and various forms of Hinduism that show the strongest Tantric influence, as well as the international postural yoga movement and most forms of American alternative spirituality grouped under the New Age rubric.
Ravi Shankar (Bengali: রবি শংকর; born Robindro Shaunkor Chowdhury on 7 April 1920), often referred to with the title Pandit, is an Indian musician and composer who plays the plucked string instrument sitar. He has been described as the most known contemporary Indian musician by Hans Neuhoff in Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart.
Shankar was born in Varanasi and spent his youth touring Europe and India with the dance group of his brother Uday Shankar. He gave up dancing in 1938 to study sitar playing under court musician Allauddin Khan. After finishing his studies in 1944, Shankar worked as a composer, creating the music for the Apu Trilogy by Satyajit Ray, and was music director of All India Radio, New Delhi, from 1949 to 1956.
In 1956, he began to tour Europe and America playing Indian classical music and increased its popularity there in the 1960s through teaching, performance, and his association with violinist Yehudi Menuhin and George Harrison of The Beatles. Shankar engaged Western music by writing concerti for sitar and orchestra and toured the world in the 1970s and 1980s. From 1986 to 1992 he served as a nominated member of the upper chamber of the Parliament of India. Shankar was awarded India's highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, in 1999, and received three Grammy Awards. He continues to perform in the 2000s, often with his daughter Anoushka.
In a pond, the dimmer switch
Too rough from delicate
I want to know the secret is
We scratch it cause we know
You make it fast, or slow
In way only you can
You drive your car
With masterful experience
[Chorus]
You're my heart,
One moment man
You're fading your control
Inside your ...
And here I watch you wield
Your passion with command
And shine on out them all
Into our secret tantra,
I thank you...
Homes around, I feel sad
With ...along my back
Safety and ...
The most freedom I've had
And you are lock me lock
In ways only you can
You keep moving between
Power and submission
[Chorus]
You're my heart,
One moment man
You're fading your control
Inside your ...
And here I watch you wield
Your passion with command
And shine on out them all
Into our secret tantra,
I thank you
Exploring this, ... boredom
Don't even lead us into our hearts
Beyond life and ... seek straight into possible
The closest sweet come, to this you'll know
With ...on, are all sense
Your breath, first grace, my skin
This fire I'm forced still he
It keeps warm within
We keep progressing
As you offer full spectrum
And we'll keep ...until our days are done
[Chorus]
You're my heart,
One moment man
You're fading your control
Inside your ...
And here I watch you wield
Your passion with command
And shine on out them all
Into our secret tantra,
One light shining bright, it's made from many colours.
Just like every ocean's made from many drop of rain.
One soul takes many shapes, to make up the human race.
One fire, many lives share the same sun every day.
Old beliefs let us down, many roads lead to heaven.
One love, many faiths all share the world in search of grace.
Across the universe, the same force that moves the earth's
In my heart, makes me whole, wash my doubt and fear away.
In a big deep blue sky on a beautiful day.
For the moment is now, there's perfection in every way.
Feel it flow from me,
Tantra my eyes can see,
Where we all belong,
Tantra watch over me.
Like a bird on a wing like the eye of a storm.
There's a circle of life when every child is born.
I get caught up in time lose all reality.
A prisoner of my own design,
Where my freedom is where I choose to be.
Look for some kind of sign from the heaven's above.
I hear one voice. I am the love I choose to love.
Feel it flow through me,
Tantra, my eyes can see,
Where we all belong,
Tantra, watch over me.
Like roses in bloom,
Like a Mountaintop majesty.
Like an Orange harvest moon,
Wonders for all to see.
Look for some kind of sign from the heaven's above.
I hear one voice. I am the love I choose to love.
Feel it flow through me,
Tantra, my eyes can see,
Where we all belong,
Tantra, watch over me.
Feel it flow through me,
Tantra, watch over me.
Across the universe the same force that moves the Earth's
