Hugh E. Wright (13 April 1879 - 12 February 1940) was a French-born, British actor and screenwriter.

Hugh Michael Jackman (born 12 October 1968) is an Australian actor and producer who is involved in film, musical theatre, and television.

Jackman has won international recognition for his roles in major films, notably as action/superhero, period and romance characters. He is known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, as well as for his leads in Kate & Leopold, Van Helsing, The Prestige, Australia, and Real Steel. Jackman is a singer, dancer, and actor in stage musicals, and won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz.

In November 2008, Open Salon named Jackman one of the sexiest men alive. Later that same month, People magazine named Jackman "Sexiest Man Alive."

A three-time host of the Tony Awards, winning an Emmy Award for one of these appearances, Jackman also hosted the 81st Academy Awards on 22 February 2009.

Jackman was born in Sydney, New South Wales, the youngest of five children of English parents Chris Jackman and Grace Watson, and the second child to be born in Australia (he also has a younger half-sister, from his mother's re-marriage). One of his paternal great-grandfathers was Greek. His parents divorced when he was eight, and he remained with his accountant father and siblings, while his mother moved back to England. As a child, Jackman liked the outdoors, spending a lot of time at the beach and on camping trips and vacations all over Australia. He wanted to see the world: "I used to spend nights looking at atlases. I decided I wanted to be a chef on a plane. Because I'd been on a plane and there was food on board, I presumed there was a chef. I thought that would be an ideal job."

Famke Beumer Janssen ( /ˈfɑːmkə ˈdʒænsən/; born 5 November 1965) is a Dutch actress and former fashion model. She is known for playing the villainous Bond girl Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye (1995) and Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men film series (2000-06).

Janssen was born in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Her first name, Famke, means "little girl" in West Frisian, the native language of the Dutch province Friesland. She has two sisters, director Antoinette Beumer and actress Marjolein Beumer. In addition to her native Dutch, Janssen speaks English and French. She also learned German, but has not kept up with it. Following her high school graduation, Janssen studied economics for a year at the University of Amsterdam, which she later called "the stupidest idea I ever had." In the early 1990s, she enrolled at Columbia University to study creative writing and literature.

In 1984, Janssen moved to the United States to begin her professional career as a fashion model. She signed with Elite Model Management and worked for Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Victoria's Secret. She starred in a 1988 commercial for the perfume Exclamation by Coty, Inc. Her looks have been compared to Hedy Lamarr and other 1940s films stars.

Will Yun Lee (Korean: 이윌윤; born March 22, 1971) is a Korean American actor.

He is best known for his roles on TNT's supernatural drama series Witchblade as Danny Woo and as Jae Kim on NBC's science fiction television drama Bionic Woman. He played villain Colonel Tan-Sun Moon as the main antagonist in the James Bond film Die Another Day and Kirigi in Elektra.

Lee was born in Arlington, Virginia. His parents are mother Jing Ja Lee and father Soo Wong Lee, a Taekwondo grandmaster. He spent a portion of his youth teaching at Lee's Tae Kwon Do, his family's business in Napa California. Lee attended UC Berkeley on an athletic scholarship for the Cal Taekwondo team.

He had minor supporting roles on high profile films such as Die Another Day, Torque and Elektra. He has also acted on FX Network's mini-series Thief and ABC Family's TV movie Mini-series Fallen^{[citation needed]}. He was in the music video of Mariah Carey's "Boy (I Need You)" as well as Ice Cube's "Roll Call."

Knightley was born in Teddington, London, England, the daughter of Sharman MacDonald, an award-winning playwright, and Will Knightley, a theatre and television actor. Her father is English and her Scottish mother is of half Welsh ancestry. She has an elder brother, Caleb.^{[citation needed]}
