Plot
Quest is the city's next up and coming rap star. He has just signed his dream record deal when he is given the unfortunate news that his brother, William, was brutally murdered in his apartment with a mysterious girl named Maria. His brothers former girlfriend, Melinda, has been acting strangely as of late and Quest searches for the truth of what really happened. Meanwhile, Melinda hooks up with Michael who has been swindling money from unsuspecting investors for the past 5 years. Bald Head, a bumbling yet lovable street hustler, is struggling to balance life between Lisa, the girl that he desperately loves, and his drug-lord boss Mike. Johnny Guns, a local arms dealer, is in his own tug of war between Frank from the Giovanni family and a local Dominican gang leader named Julio. At the center of these intricately entwined stories is a common thread known only as the Dark Figure. Each player is faced with the same decision between the darkness and the truth. Can the truth outshine the darkness?
There's Still Hope. Even in the Dark.

In mythology and literature, a quest, a journey towards a goal, serves as a plot device and (frequently) as a symbol. Quests appear in the folklore of every nation and also figure prominently in non-national cultures. In literature, the objects of quests require great exertion on the part of the hero, and the overcoming of many obstacles, typically including much travel. The aspect of travel also allows the storyteller to showcase exotic locations and cultures (an objective of the narrator, not of the character).
The hero normally aims to obtain something or someone by the quest, and with this object to return home. The object can be something new, that fulfills a lack in his life, or something that was stolen away from him or someone with authority to dispatch him.
Sometimes the hero has no desire to return. Sir Galahad's quest for the Holy Grail is to find it, not return with it. A return may, indeed, be impossible: Aeneas quests for a homeland, having lost Troy at the beginning of Virgil's Aeneid, and he does not return to Troy to re-found it but settles in Italy (to become an ancestor of the Romans).
The Sheep is a character, created by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll. It appeared in Dodgson's book, Through the Looking-Glass, the sequel to his book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The Sheep is first mentioned in the fifth chapter of Through the Looking-Glass, "Wool and Water". The White Queen is talking to Alice, when she suddenly starts "baa-ing" and then seems to 'wrap herself in wool'. Alice figures out she is in a shop, and that The White Queen has turned into a sheep. The Sheep sits in her chair knitting as Alice looks around the shop. She gives Alice a pair of her knitting needles, and asks her if she can row. As Alice begins to answer, she realizes that they are in a little boat, and that the needles have turned into oars. As they glide along the water, the Sheep repeatedly shouts out "Feather," and tells Alice that they will be catching crabs. Alice's attention is then put onto some scented rushes growing in the water. She tries picking them, but they are only 'dream rushes' and melt away. She then quickly catches a crab, which she actually didn't see, and they are all suddenly in the shop again. Alice buys an egg from the Sheep (that ends up turning into Humpty Dumpty) and the two part ways.
Turning towards a time so free
Justice has finally escaped
The dripping words of yesterday
Set my feeble mind astray
I yearn to see
The glow of her eyes as I appear
A sign of satisfaction
Could be the sweetest sound
The staircase has one too many steps
I've already started back down
Come on
I love the caterpillars
Munching on the leaves
Pitter patter
Makes me forget my disease
Bugs have feelers just like me
And I'm feelin' oh so lonely
Disturbed in every sense of grace
The lady wouldn't give me a taste
Of the joy that means that much
It lives within her touch
Why won't you be my friend
I would love to hold you tonight
Even if we just pretend
Why won't you be my friend
Why won't you be my friend
I would love to hold you tonight
Even if we just pretend
Why won't you be my friend
Be my friend
I'd love to meet the one
Who broke my heart
I know she'd melt me with her dance
Her subtle colors, her sweet smile
But it's a shame
I picked up the pieces of a tune inside my head
And waited for inspiration to be fed
It seems so long since I felt the need to care
Circumstance often dealt with what we share
If I could find something to make you cry
Test your Iove but there's no need to even try
Let's move forward with our quest
And just ignore the rest
All beneath a wintering sky
Follow the wastrel butterfly
With vermilion leaf or bronze
Tatters of gorgeous gonfalons
With the winds that always hold
Echo of clarions lost and old
We must hasten, hasten on
Toward the azure world withdrawn.
We must wander, wander so
Where the ruining roses go
Where the poplar's pallid leaves
Drift among the gathered sheaves.
In that harvest none shall glean
Where the twisted willows lean
In their strange, tormented woe
Seeing, on the streamlet's flow
Half their fragile leaves depart
Where the secret pines at heart
High, funereal, vespertine
Guard eternal sorrows green
We shall follow, we shall find
Haply, ere the light is blind
The moulded place where beauty lay
Moon-beheld until the day.
In the woven windlestrae
Or the pool of tourmaline
Rimmed with golden reeds, that was
In the dawn a tiring-glass
For her undelaying mein
Ever wander, wander so
Where the ruining roses go
All beneath a wintering sky
Follow the wastrel butterfly
Follow the wastrel butterfly
All beneath a wintering sky
Ever wander, wander so
Where the ruining roses go.

Success is a long line
Got a way just move with the crowd
Cause once you are in the club make you feel proud
Be strong be brave
But most of all don't be afraid
[Chorus:]
If you are not good enough to do something else
Why do anything if you can be yourself
Got to lose in time if you wanna win
Better get on your ground get get it in
[Repeats]
How you're gonna win if you still be afraid to lose
Everyone lost is called paying duce

... why living?
I will not follow you
I will not believe
I will not bow down to a flag which represents what I most despise
I won't back down, this is my life
I won't stand still, these words are my right
Inspired by our greed, we disregard humanity
Through endless attempts to manipulate, we justify our needs
By placing the dollar above everything else, we have compromised all life
By allowing a corporate infrastructure to define fashion, entertainment and
Diet
We have compromised our minds
Strip the mask of truth from the lie
Strip away the mask
We are raised to believe in false ideas: that money is necessary for
Happiness;
That image is necessary for life; that control is necessary for love.
Questioning these patterns brings on blinding defiance.
It's like a blind man in a dark room
Looking for a black cat that isn't there
It's like a man overboard in the high seas
Swimming for his life to find land anywhere
Everybody knows emptiness
Everywhere they’re all on a quest
But nobody seems to know
The reason for their restlessness
Everybody’s lost in aimlessness
But somebody brought hope (to hopelessness)
Now everybody needs to know
That they can know
The master of the quest
It's like Don Quixote on his journey
Trusty side-kick by his side El Dorado bound
It's all around you could it be you
People searching, are you searching for what I've found?
Don't you know He’s at your door
He is the one you're looking for
Everybody’s lost in aimlessness
But somebody brought hope (to hopelessness)
Now everybody needs to know
That Jesus came to bring them rest
A fetid, wornout scenery, this cradle of man.
Sucked bonedry, the Ancient Mother at the end of her lifespan.
Craving, ruthless, the child that ate its own womb,
human vermin, abandon this place of doom.
Cosmic winds blow - the surge is powerful,
to the stars the future leads.
Walk away from the battlefields of the old world.
earthling - wipe the blood from your eyes.
Arise...
Distant suns shine over strange horizons,
unknown wars fought on alien land.
Alien eyes look upon mans arrival,
greeted - by fists or with open hand.
The umber sphere of Earth fades into black, Sol astern, swollen in agony,
the last glimpse of home. Ahead - the universe...
