ANDREW MINNITT CEO, Aon Philippines Emerging Risks Findings from the 2015 Global Risk Management Survey Join Andrew Minnitt, CEO of Aon Philippines, who will share some of the recent findings from Aon’s 2015 Global Risk Management Survey, where property damage and business interruption rather surprisingly appear again, as well as Cyber Risk, amongst others in the top 10 risks. The ongoing debate around people and the risk of not attracting, retaining and protecting them features strongly too. Daniel Bould, Regional Director in Crisis Management at Aon, will talk about the threat of Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion (KRE) and how companies across Asia are protecting themselves against this very real danger. The KRE threat is often overlooked by management on the grounds that “it won’t ever happen to us” or “it’s too expensive”, but the financial, reputational and operational harm that a KRE incident can impose on a business is severe and fast becoming a boardroom concern. The threat simply cannot be ignored. Murray Wood (Head of Financial Specialties at Aon in Asia) will talk about a very topical subject at the moment, Cyber Risk, and the threat this poses to business. Importantly he will talk about how Aon assists clients with a structured approach to the risk, analysing it and understanding it, before trying to place an insurance product around it, thus making the final solution a lot more effective than relying on an insurance product alone.
