Sorg is the second album released by the Swedish doom metal band Faith. It was released in 2005 on Doom Symphony Records. Sorg means "grief" in Swedish.
Freddie Wadling (born August 2, 1951 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, actor and opera writer, whose over 30-year musical career spans from punk to classical ballads.
He played bass in a number of bands during the 1970s and early 1980s. One notable band was Liket Lever (which roughly translates to The Corpse Lives).
In the early 1980s, he joined the cult band Cortex. During this period Cortex released the album Spinal Injuries in 1981. The song "The Freaks" sung by Freddie Wadling became a signature song for him and was used in the soundtrack of Tjenare Kungen.
Wadling also played in Straitjackets and the controversial Leather Nun, but his importance for the Swedish punk scene has been small - in contrast to his influence in the alternative/experimental rock scene.
In the 1980s and 1990s, he was vocalist of the Swedish alternative pop/rock duo Blue for Two. The duo started in Gothenburg in 1984 with him on vocals and Henryk Lipp as songwriter and synthesizers. They had a string of albums including Blue for Two (1986), Songs from a Pale and Bitter Moon (1988), Search & Enjoy (1992), Earbound (1994) and Moments (1997). The band became very popular and one of the main bands in the Swedish alternative scene in the 1980s. For their live performances, they were often accompanied by Sator guitarist Chips Kiesbye.
Håkan Hellström (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈhoːkan ˈhɛlːstrøm]) (born 2 April 1974) is a Swedish musician. He got his Swedish breakthrough in the year 2000 with the song "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg" ("Don't feel sorry for me, Gothenburg"). In 2005, Hellström released his fourth album, Nåt gammalt, nåt nytt, nåt lånat, nåt blått (literally: Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue), which is a collection of old material that never made it onto any of his albums, a few new songs and covers. In 2006, following the birth of his son, he announced that he would take a break from touring and recording. Despite this, he still performed occasional gigs. Since then he has released his fifth album För sent för Edelweiss (Too Late for Edelweiss). His sixth and most recent album is the critically acclaimed 2 steg från Paradise, released on October 13, 2010.
Hellström played drums in the Swedish indie pop band Broder Daniel between 1988 and 1994, then briefly for Swedish alternative rock band Honey Is Cool. In 1997 he rejoined Broder Daniel to play the bass, until 2003 when he left the band again to focus completely on his solo career. Although sometimes accused for consistently singing out of tune, he has over time grown to be popular with all ages due to his enthusiasm, scene energy and interpretations of old popular favourites live.[citation needed]
Kim Melius Flyvholm Larsen (born October 23, 1945 in Copenhagen) is a Danish rock musician.
Inspired by The Beatles and rock and roll, Larsen began as a songwriter and guitarist. In 1969 he met Franz Beckerlee and Wili Jønsson, and the three founded Gasolin' which, later joined by drummer Søren Berlev, became one of the most successful Danish rock bands. The band dissolved in the late 1970s and has always refused to reform although they remain very popular decades after their seventies heyday, which has contributed to their myth and magic. In 2006, the documentary movie Gasolin' directed by Anders Østergaard, gave the history of the band and became a big hit in Denmark.
In the 1970s, following trends found in North America and the United Kingdom, Danish popular music styles began to diverge and audiences fragment. Many rock musicians in Denmark began to compose music and texts that reflected more realistic Danish social settings and ideals. Danish musicologist Charlotte Rørdam Larsen states that in the 1970s, Danish groups such as Kim Larsen's Gasolin' gave Danish music a special Danish rhythm and significance, linguistically, if not wholly distinct musically from international styles.

Inn I Sjelens Dype Mørke
Hvor Livet Svinner Hen
Der Tomhet Har Sitt Rike
Og Intet Blir Igjen
Hvordan Skal Jeg Kunne Leve
Min Sjel Så Høyt Forhatt
Sorg Er Hva Jeg Føler
Alt Så Ensomt Og Forlatt
Av Hele Min Kropp Jeg Kjemper
Men Ingen Krefter Har
Finnes Det Håp I Mørket
Vise Vei Til Det Som Var
Har Sorgen Vunnet Sin Seier
Hvor Kan Jeg Finne Håp
Lyset Som Glimtet I Mørket
Music: SORG
Lyrics: Karl O. Langedahl
I see them coming
I feel their wrath
My throne is falling
Cold demonical eyes impales me
Like gigantic needles through my skin
I will die in the chambers of oblivion,
Tears flows out of my eyes
In the chambers of oblivion
I'll die
Tears flows out of my eyes
As I step into eternity...eternally
Hypocrites calls upon my gate
They've conquered my flesh
Blood dribbles from my ears,
As the emperor speaks to me:
"We haven't forget your sins,
From our lives in obscurity we'll have our vengeance,
a new kingdom shall be born,
created by us who you've pushed away,
your testament is written..."
Help me...
Music: Karl O. Langedahl
Lyrics: Oyvind Karlsen
Take my hand and walk with me
Into the bridge of eternity
With my soul my body dies painfully
Help me now or not the mourning of...
Tears and sadness withers away
To arise from it's sleep
And carry out the human burials
Reincarnation of the flesh, torn away from it's womb
Reconstructed existence of the darkness
Intense destruction of an ancient time
Plagues and suffering tearing through the soil
What's unbegan is now to become reality
The sky turns black above me
To Form a portal to oblivion
Locusts rising from the earth
Music: Bjorn A. Johansen & Aslak Janitz
Lyrics: Lene Vestrum
Please me
Reach me
Be the sun for a while
To forgive the cloud
Who made you fall for a while
You'll learn how to climb
Would you fly again, would you fly again
Would you cry again
Please me
Reach me
Be my sun
You'll learn how to climb
"How does it feel when the dark haunts you,
when the tears you cry dries in,
when the spring that made promises
broke your golden dreams"
Would you fly again
Could you try again
Would you cry again
Music: Bjorn A. Johansen & Oyvind Karlsen
Lyrics: Lene Vestrum
Let me dream now, let my life be the thing
Life with meaning, let me hope so I can live
Let me see now, the storm you ride through me
The Sight within
Let me trust so I can see
Lock me under, deep...I wonder
Healing, feeling
Children's voice, makes new noises
Don't break their choices to be heard
Let me see
the storm you ride through me
Let me see now, the storm you ride through me
The sight within, let me trust so I can see
Let me be now, let your life be my thing
The life with meaning
Let me be so I can breath
Let me see
the storm you ride through me
Children's voices makes new noises
Don't break their choises to be heard
Music: Bjorn A. Johansen
Lyrics: Karl O. Langedahl
Mystical powers grabs your neck
The Lord of light shall rise again
From a cold and dark sphere,
known as bright and love eternal
Hide behind the word of god
Slice the flesh with heavens sword
Meet the demon of all demons,
from above in the dark enigma
Believe in God or you will die
Torture is my very friend
Side by side we all shall walk
towards heaven, nailed by god
Enigma Grotesque
You will never see a common sphere
without God and me
In the light divine,
forever lay to rot
You'll have eternal life
as the slaughter of your faith
Come and drink with me
your wine is sour
and you'll be pleased with me
you cannot fool me...to believe or die
I am the story told
and I am the untold
It's written down by man
It's written, but not true
My place is peacefully
for the brainwashed, not for me
Pain is forever peace
I shall be the one...who takes command
Enigma grotesque
You will never see, a common sphere
Music: Bjorn A. Johansen, Karl O. Langedahl
Lyrics: Karl O. Langedahl
Through pain I became
Servants make way
Make way all gods
Look at me, now learn to fly
With my flesh my ravens came
With my tears I drowned the flames of love
With my will came evil lust
And I shall cover the sun...eternally
Carved by the claws of the unholy beast
Divine scars, thy blood is black
Serpents, hear me now
Blow your winds, consume the earth
Through pain I was made to rule
Kneel now, and I'll spear your life
Flow through the gate into my realm
Be one, serve me
No one else, only me
Now I'm strong enough to walk above your realm
Music: SORG
Lyrics: Arnt Holger Jensen
Our burden is great
Hopes of mankind been carried away
Hope is in truly tiny,
like snow on a damp summers day
Behold the Hoarwell
The river of the troll falls,
of the northern moores
Far beyond the trollshaws
The darkness arises
On icy fellwinds
On a damp summers day
The price of the nine is abroad
The Witchking, the warden of the north
Here lies our perilous path
In veils of destiny...entwined
At dawn, through the realms of ice we walk
Like thieves at nightstalk
Into the dragons Den, the iron fortress
Music: Karl O. Langedahl
Lyrics: Karl O. Langedahl
Hounds Of Hell
Behold the lord of light
he is coming
Vobiscum
Blood shall scatter,
the same manners you have done
to the rest of us
