The Hamdanid dynasty (Arabic: حمدانيون Ḥamdānyūn) was a Shi'aMuslim Arab dynasty of northern Iraq (Al-Jazirah) and Syria (890-1004). They descended from the ancient Banu Taghlib Christian tribe of Mesopotamia and east Arabia. The Hamdanid dynasty was founded by Hamdan ibn Hamdun (after whom it is named), when he was appointed governor of Mardin in SE Anatolia by the Abbasid Caliphs in 890.
His son Abdallah (904-929) was in turn appointed governor of Mosul in northern Iraq (906) and even governed Baghdad (914). His sons were installed as governors in Mosul and Aleppo.
The rule of Hassan Nasir ad-Daula (929-968), governor of Mosul and Diyarbakır, was sufficiently tyrannical to cause him to be deposed by his own family.
His lineage still ruled in Mossul, a heavy defeat by the Buyids in 979 notwithstanding, until 990. After this, their area of control in northern Iraq was divided between the Uqailids and the Marwanids.
Ali Saif al-Daula 'Sword of the State' ruled (945-967) Northern Syria from Aleppo, and became the most important opponent of the Byzantine Empire's (Christian) expansion. His court was a centre of culture, thanks to its nurturing of Arabic literature, but it lost this status after the Byzantine conquest of Aleppo.
Ahmad Ali Jaber (Arabic: أحمد علي جابر) (born 2 August 1982 in Baghdad, Iraq) is an Iraqi football goalkeeper. He is part of the Iraq national football team and still plays for Al-Zawraa in Iraq. He played in all four of Iraq’s matches in the 2004 AFC Asian Cup. However, he finished the campaign on a low, having been sent off in the quarter-finals against China after lashing out at China’s Sun Jihai. After losing his place to Noor Sabri in the 2004 Olympic Games, the Al Zawra’a goalkeeper returned to the national team in the Gulf Cup in the same year. He had a brief spell with Sanat Naft in Iran before returning to Al Zawra’a. On 16 September, he was released along with seven other players by Arbil FC.

Sattar Khan (Persian/Azeri: ستارخان, IPA: [sætːɒːɾ xɒn]; (October 20, 1866—November 17, 1914), honorarily titled Sardār-e Melli (Persian: سردار ملی meaning National Commander) was a pivotal figure in the Persian Constitutional Revolution and is considered by many Iranians to be a national hero.
Sattar Khan was born in the village of Janali, in the Iranian province of Azarbaijan, some time in 1868. He was the third son of Haj Hasan Bazzaz, from the Qara Daj mountains. While he was still a child, his eldest brother, who had become a highway robber, was executed by the authorities.
The family later moved to Tabriz where Sattar himself came into conflict with the law when he tried to find a hideout for two Caucasian fugitives to whom his father had given shelter. He was incarcerated for two years in Narin Qalʿa, a notorious local prison. Afterwards he too became a brigand and was subsequently imprisoned again. He also served in the gendarmerie controlling the main road between Khoy and Marand, and for a while found employment as part of the armed escort to the crown prince Mozaffar-al-Din Mirza and was given the title of "khan" (which means "sir" in the Azeri language).

Now it's time
To say good night to you
Now it's time
To bid you sweet adieu
And maybe, drink a cheers to yesterday
And maybe, you'll drink those tears away
So baby, don't let go
Hold on real tight
'Cause i'll be home tonight
Tonight
So baby, don't let go
Hold on real tight
'Cause i'll be home tonight
Tonight
If this is paradise
Then I don't recognise,
That subtle look that's in your eyes.
And in the distance now
I hear your whispers, love,
And see my dreams go fading by, by.
Take me away from this moment,
I wanna shut the door,
And I'm not taking anymore,
It's me they want to give away, ooh.
I don't want to know,
I don't want go go,
All I want is home tonight,
All I want is home tonight,
All I want is home tonight.
A love so precious now
Lights me up inside
My darkest night could never hide
Elegant and divine.
She wears a diamond smile
The girl's perfection guaranteed.
Don't take away
This moment from me
I wanna hold her close
It's her I want the most
Don't want to let her slip away.
I don't want to know,
I don't want go go,
All I want is home tonight,
All I want is home tonight,
All I want is home tonight.
I don't want to know,
I don't want go go,
I've come to my senses
How did I get so far from home
The lies dissipating
Revealing I'm so alone
And I remember now how strong love can be
And I wonder how did I ever leave
Burn your fire on the altar
Leave a candle on the porch
I'm still too far away to see it
But I'm aching for its warmth
And I'm so tired and cold and dark and lonesome
But still I hear your song inside
So sing it louder if you want me home tonight
Sing it loud now 'cause I'm comin' home tonight
This isn't the first time
I've wandered away from home before
So you'd have every reason
To slam and dead-bolt the door
And I remember now, how strong your love can be
And I wonder how you might welcome me
Burn your fire on the altar
Leave a candle on the porch
I'm still too far away to see it
But I'm aching for its warmth
And I'm so tired and cold and dark and lonesome
But still I hear your song inside
So sing it louder if you want me home tonight
Sing it loud now 'cause I'm comin' home tonight
Into your arms, to my backyard
Where I used to play
How I miss the days
So burn your fire on the altar
Leave a candle on the porch
I'm still too far away to see it
But I'm aching for its warmth
I'm so tired and cold and dark and lonesome
But still I hear your song inside
So sing it louder if you want me home tonight
ooh, take a walk in the park under the stars
baby take my hand the night is ours
i never knew what loving u could do
om feelin like i wanna follow through
u look into my eyes and u make my temperature riseand u keep me
fantasising, baby
u can take me home tonight
im not makin promises
dont meke it more than what it is
u can take me home tonight
take it slow boy we can chill and if im feeling u i will
maybe, would u let a thug give u a hug
maybe, maybe stroke your back til u fall in luv
maybe, if its cool can i kiss u please
maybe, love u down til we fall asleep
ooh, now u got we were u want me 2 b
but i wont give in 2 easily
i look at u and i cant help myself
my mind says wait but my bodys saying yes

fantasising, baby
u can take me home tonight
im not makin promises
dont meke it more than what it is
u can take me home tonight
take it slow boy we can chill and if im feeling u i will
maybe, would u let a thug give u a hug
maybe, maybe stroke your back til u fall in luv
maybe, if its cool can i kiss u please
maybe, love u down til we fall asleep
my hearts racing, my body's aching
from dreams of making luv all night
it wont take much
im weak one touch
just might do this
if it's wrong or its right
u can take me home tonight
im not makin promises
dont meke it more than what it is
u can take me home tonight
take it slow boy we can chill and if im feeling u i will
maybe, would u let a thug give u a hug
maybe, maybe stroke your back til u fall in luv
maybe, if its cool can i kiss u please
maybe, love u down til we fall asleep
Verse One
Now pardon me but
I'm a little confused
Cause nobody else has ever
Made me feel the way you do
So let me know if I
Can come and get inside
I could take you on a ride
Let me take you home tonight
Chorus
Cause you know I'm feelin' you
And you know what I wanna do
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Cause you know you're so damn sexy
And I'll take you if you let me
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Verse Two
Now honestly I
I wanna leave this party
And I've already started
But I wanna push up on all your body
Just let me know what
I'll do whatever you like
We'll be up till the morning
When I take you home tonight
Chorus
Cause you know I'm feelin' you
And you know what I wanna do
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Cause you know you're so damn sexy
And I'll take you if you let me
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Bridge
Don't get me wrong cause I
Don't want this thing to end after only one night
But there's something that you've got
That makes me wanna get inside
Chorus
Cause you know I'm feelin' you
And you know what I wanna do
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Cause you know you're so damn sexy
And I'll take you if you let me
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Chorus
Cause you know I'm feelin' you
And you know what I wanna do
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I'll take you home tonight
Cause you know you're so damn sexy
And I'll take you if you let me
Oh oh, oh oh oh
I want to see
I don't want to believe anymore
I want to just be alone with my dreams
To be alone
The places that I've found
Seem old and dried out now
No one left to hold me when I'm down
There's no one left
No one left
Home tonight
No more dreams or delays
Home tonight
We can leave or you can stay
In my hometown it was
So easy to be just me
No need to hide my ambitions and crying eyes
No need to hide
I need to go
But not to be alone
To hold and be held in the arms that know me well
To hold and and be held
I don't want to wait
Can't stand another day
I really really can't stay
I know if I go I won't come back no no no
But don't be sad
When the train takes me home at last
I hear a whisper. Silently.
An unconscious voice speaks to me
Now I have no control
And I can't tell the difference between
The truth and what we believe
(Oh my god)
I'll make a choice when there is nowhere to turn
Oh, I won't ever know until this boat has sank
And I'll be living a lie with every breath I take
You need this, you want this you feel it in your bones
She never really loved you, it was all just for show.
So now you, you got it.
What you have always wanted
You're all alone
You will die on your own
(Oh my god)
I'll make a choice, when there is nowhere to turn
Oh, I won't ever know until this boat has sank
And I'll be living a lie with every breath I take
What does it matter, if we are all dead already
The smoke we breath, breeds our fleeting dreams
For you did not die to forgive the sins that we all
make.
You are a lifeless soul and there is nothing that you
can take.
Close your eyes
