Abu Bakr (Abdullah ibn Abi Quhafa) (Arabic: عبد الله بن أبي قحافة, Transliteration: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Quḥāfah, c. 573 CE - 634 CE) also known as Abū Bakr as-Șiddīq (Arabic: أبو بكر الصديق) was a senior companion (Sahabi) and the father-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He ruled over the Rashidun Caliphate from 632–634 CE when he became the first Muslim Caliph following Muhammad's death. As Caliph, Abu Bakr succeeded to the political and administrative functions previously exercised by Muhammad, since the religious function and authority of prophethood ended with Muhammad's death according to Islam. He was called Al-Siddiq (The Truthful) and was known by that title among later generations of Muslims.
As a young man, Abu Bakr became a cloth merchant and he traveled extensively in Arabia and neighboring lands in the Middle East, through which he gained both wealth and experience. He eventually came to be recognized as the chief of his clan. On his return from a business trip to Yemen, he was informed that in his absence Muhammad had openly declared his prophethood. Not long after, Abu Bakr accepted Islam and was the first person outside the family of Muhammad to openly become a Muslim. He was instrumental in the conversion of many people to the Islamic faith and early in 623, Abu Bakr's daughter Aisha was married to Muhammad, strengthening the ties between the two men.
The ppython is waiting,we take it
A twisted tomato,forsaken
"What's got into me?What's got into you?
We're naked."
(Everybody's gonna say it)
Mama says to me,mama says to me,
(Homeless made us find our glory)
Mama said,"No more."
Finding our way like a teen here in space
Disembrace what we always remember
It don't cost a dime if you're lucky in time
So you might as well make this all something
The garbage,this music,what I feel
Well listen what we do,where we've been
We got into see,we get in to do,
We're taken aback
(Everybody's gonna say it)
Mama said to me,mama said to me,
(Homeless made us find glory)
Mama said,"It's good."
Finding our way like a teen here in space
Disembrace what we always remember
It don't cost a dime 'cause we're lucky in time
So we might as well make this all something
Findin' out!
Finding our place like a teen here in space
Disembrace what we always remember
It don't cost a dime 'cause we're lucky in time
So you might as well make this all something
We're various traits of a thousand and one
Generations we'll never remember
It's only as if you could never believe
That by chance you couldn't even be here
Bring it back,bring it back
What you said,what you said
Mama said to me,mama said to me
Mama said to me,"Good."
Mama said to me,mama said to me
Is there some way we can define?
Wondering how,wondering why
What's in demand?
It's just a slight of the hand
Begin there
It's easy to try
But you're embarrassed to cry
Whoever you are
Youu're from the top of the stars
You can open your life
It's just a trick of the light
Begin there
Words aren't enough
Music is love
Worlds call through the time
Answer so quiet
Hard to deny
The music is right
Oh I'll try to define
Understand it's just a part of our lives
And its guiding light
Can take us to fly
Let's go there
Oh lord take to us now this grace
Oh glory
We'd wait around for all those years
Strike match like memories lost a gear
I said too much,I said too much
I'm still in love,I'm still in love
But I'm outta luck,yeah I'm outta lunch
And I'm wondering what to do
Somebody told me yesterday.
"The government men have a secret way"
The kite I flew above the Lynden sky
It made my hand turn blue,my head go,too
Not long,long ago there's a place I did know
Where the time and the people they've stopped from
The rest
I'd climb up a tree,it was far I could see
To Canadian,Canadian,the Rockies of Canada...
The place,hiding place,that's my place,hiding place.
No one knew
Well Wylyn lived by Sumas mountain
His dad could take off from the back forty
I said too much,I said too much
I lost my touch,I lost my lunch
And I'm outta luck and I'm outta lunch
And I'm wondering what to do
Somebody told me yesterday.
"The government men have a secret way"
The kite I flew above the Lynden sky
It made my hand turn blue,my head go,too
Not long,long ago there's a place I did know
Where the time and the people they've stopped from
The rest
I'd climb up a tree,it was far I could see
To Canadian,Canadian,the Rockies of Canada...
The place,hiding place,that's my place,hiding place.
guess it's up to me now
Alice and stained glass, broke the sun to crystalize
School yards and helicopters, napalm for the rest of
My life
Oh,where's that at all?It's on the Y-Road
I want the feeling not to end,
Keep up,keep up,keep up
No way that I can get there now,to the Y-Road
Dharma and stereo,The Who would always decide
My house,60 minutes, color TV to black and white
Oh,where's that at all?It's on the Y-Road
I hope that feeling never ends
Keep up,keep up,keep up,keep up,
Keep up,keep up,keep up
Oh,where's that at all? It's on the Y-Road
I hope that feeling never ends
Keep up,keep up,keep up
I guess it's far too much
It's coming back on me:
My secret fun I had last night, you see
I guess I didn't win
It's only far too much
Like life just has to be,has to be
We step on over,we're taken 'back
We know that time is coming only 'til we spend
And say it's only just a matter
The overload is going up
Only just a matter to stop,to stop
I thought,"Ridiculous,to mop the road this way."
I'm cleaning 1-5,monkey suit,it's never me
I guess it's not that hip
I've got a job to do
Or I'd be homeless and crawl right back to you
We step on over,we're taken 'back
We know that time is coming only 'til we spend
And say it's only just a matter
Overload is going up
Only just a matter to stop,to stop
It's just a timeless wind
It's just like night today
When someone set me wandering on this place
I'm seeing everything, then going back to you
I'll see my home one more time before I'm through
We step on over,we're taken 'back
We know that time is coming only 'til we spend
And say it's only just a matter
Overload is going up
Oh,help has come and went
I'm no longer innocent
I'm hoping,praying,ever saying,"I'll love you again."
Life's for granteds,we take 'em all
Oh,it's a miracle for sure
In time we all walk through the door
Oh,it's a miracle for sure
Oh,I have lost my trust
Ash to ash and dust to dust
I'm hoping, praying, forever waiting to see you again
Life's for granteds,we take 'em all
Oh,it's a miracle for sure
In time we all walk through the door
The secret of the man is his hard and toiled hands
And he's working all his days, all he ever thinks,
"It' right"
Oh,there's a time and place where you have to say,
"I'll never."
Oh but you still hear the words always
"Owe me,owe me,owe me,owe me,owe me."
Any second,any second
What you want to play, turn me on then turn me
Back away
I'll be quiet 'cause you caught me lying
What you got in store for me is overdead and
Simulated
It's all been said and done so I won't say no more
And there's another scene here coming down
It's holding me,reflecting on it
I'm crying,along with my dying,along with no
Triumph,fuck it
Oh,there's a time and place where you have to say,
"I'll never."
Oh but you'll still hear the words always
"Owe me,owe me,owe me,owe me,owe me."
I'm crying,along with my dying,along with no
Life,it keeps burning,it goes up and down
Round and round, you to me and everyone
And the faces, they keep turning, right to left
Left to right,straight to death,everyone
And it's time,locks the hidden secret,bring you
Bring you close to death, close to death,
You to me and everyone
And the righteous lock the hidden secret,
Everything is close to death, close to death,
Lifes to death,life to death
Pain, it keeps burning, life keeps burning
As you preach
Tell me all about my life, how to live it,tell me
What to do,who are you,who is me or anyone
And the faces, they keep turning, all the same,
Year to year,cost of fear,cost a tear
And it's time who's the hidden foe, who'll bring
You,bring you close to death, you to me,
Everything and everyone
And it's time,feels not,loves not
Life to death, life to death, life is death
Pain,it keeps burning,life keeps turning
Don't you wonder,ever wonder,fucking wonder,
Fucking wonder,fucking wonder?
Tell me all about my life
Just say life,it keeps burning,it goes right to
Left,up to down,over night,every day
And I wonder,it keeps burning,over now,
Over now,over now,everything
And it curses, like the hidden secret, bring you,
Bring you close to death, everyone and everything
And it's time,what the hidden secret,bring you,
Bring you, love me now, love you down,
Love you down,life is death
Pain,it keeps burning,it keeps turning
Don't you wonder,ever wonder,fucking wonder,
Fucking wonder,fucking wonder,fucking wonder,
Lay your head down my friend, tell me your sad story
It's obvious in your eyes, with the long pause and a
Sigh
Then the words began to flow, she told me I'd never
Know
"People like you will never grow 'cause people like
You don't have the means"
Amelda's palace garden grows, she sits and watches
So sad
She thinks of her consumer goods,She thinks of what
Her peers respect
She said,"People like them they're all the same,
People like them they'll never change. Not like
People like us, you see, people with landed quality"
What kind of world do we live in at all, when we all
Know that we live together and we die together and
We lie together and we cry together
We're all just the same
Little Magnus goes to church,he sits while folding
His hands
He thinks of how god must look,he thinks that god
Must look like him
He's told,"God has chosen us specialities,because of
What we believe.People like them they'll never tell
'Cause people like them are bound for hell."
What kind of world do we live in at all, when we all
Know that we live together and we die together and
We lie together and we cry together
There was a rich man,and there was a poor man
800 gallons of wine, take your pill
Tell the rich man, tell the beggar, too
When the master comments about the death of
The bird time
The wrinkled face and the tiny hands
The miniature eyes and the land
And the ministry moving from the fullfilled
To the prophecy and the hill
This is the poor man's rain, this is a sunny parade
Like ladders across the continents
Why does the almighty look for the judgement
At the pasture fields where the flocks have drifted?
He drives a donkey, and the widows axe
Into your eye, tell you where it's at
See the righteous, see the ruin and rejoice
And the innocent mock them
Pass it on the nakedness and the shame in the
'Hood, live in the last remains of the sound of the big
Bang boom
Gettin' down like the dogs and do what we do
Every time that you spend everything that you said
Every what you, what you want for the things that
You play, and you tore it up when you told about,
What did you say?
There's a trancin' fool and a dancin' fool
Just jumping round doin' what ya do
Everybody knows,everybody knows
There's a time and a place when you want to say,
There's a time and a place when you want to say,
"What do you say? What do you say?"
Gettin' down it's alright, all the things that you do
Gettin' down it's alright, all the things that you do
Oh I'm in a rut
I've lost my will
And I won't wait for no one
And time rolls on
Just like me
Yeah it's just like you too
Beggars beg your pardon
Time goes on All I know
It's a part of me and you
All our dreams that won't ever come true
The ammunition that we stored away
Still does its job after so many years Oh it's so amazing
All the messed up days
I can't even see straight
And time goes on
Yes I know it ends
My life has run amok
Can't count the sins I've sinned
Time rolls on Rut Life is so hard
All on your own, no one else, all alone All our lives with waste all around
We wonder about the end
All we knew, all of us alone to face the grave
Long been waiting for the midnight train
Gonna catch a little piece of the madness
You could never touch it with your boring life
Gonna give yourself a little cheap thrill
The time you want to spend on the fire of desire
That takes you there
Change it all around from your normal day
Gonna give yourself a deaf treat
Get down and you'll know,no heart and no soul
You wander the place,no less, let's make it up
And never gonna take us down,we'll make it to hell
Long been running to the midnight heat
Gonna try a little piece of the truck stop
A dive little hole in a nowhere place
You're gonna make a little deal today
You park your car by the phone booth
You sit and waitin' for the buyer
A chrome plate gun flashes in your face
Your habit gonna take your life away
No down and no up,no bucks, fresh out of luck
Only doing my days,oh the games up
Don't want to look forward, the pain of breaking
You never want the sinking to find you,
You run away
You hide 'til night, broke and thinkin'
What things to sell, you're going to steal
Long been running from the badland place
Gonna keep a little piece of debris
You can never hush it,that chunk of your past
Gonna keep it all hidden away
'Cause the time you try again you're going to
Sink into the madness
You can never touch it,that piece of a thrill
You got to keep it all hidden away
No down and no up,you're fresh out of luck
No heart and no soul,oh no
The place,no less,no more,no less,no more
We're taking to hell, taking to hell
Give me just one more reason, give me just a one
More time, give me the last thing I wanted
Don't get exited boy
Take me to the bitter locks, let me feel the cold
Display,let me feel the loneliness,
Don't get excited boy
'Cause I been waiting to just deliver my note
'Cause I've been working hard, dreaming a long time
I am invited to,or get to choose, something but
The carwash,oh,I can always dream
Give me a front row ticket, give me just a one
More find, give me that Karen turned Sheila and
The T.V. in the night
Give me my overpass thicket, put me in Sir
Gallahan, give me all the freaks and the loonies
In the hall most every night
I would take it back 'cause I didn't know then
That I'd be lonely for you, lonely for you all the time
Every year I'm in,it's the years before,I'm
Looking back to you,I will say it now,
"You were Right."
Somewhat amused by all those criminals,
Can you resist all those memories
Somewhat amused by all those times
Looking for another reason, looking for another
Light, give me the last thing I wanted
Don't get exited man
Take me to the bitter luck, let me feel the cold
Display,let me feel the loneliness,
Don't get exited boy
Oh,I am waiting to just deliver my note
And I am working hard, still dreaming all the time
I am invited to,or get to choose, something else
I can always dream,but I think you're right
Somewhat amused by all those criminals,
Can you resist all those memories
The place is smashed to smithereens
By lobby groups and go-betweens
By these think-tank demolitions
Shatter, shiver, batter, tear
Gonna prove there's no chance there
Traitor's tongue is the opposition
The beast been coming around
Prowling at late
Preaching a message
Intolerance and hate
Who lost their Freedoms a few seconds ago?
Won't tell you so. de structo
In his time to violate
Huff and paff-annihilate
Bring his foe to prostrate
Lay the axe to the root
Everybody's wearing army boots
Everybody in the world's irate
The beast been coming around
Prowling at late
With his henchmen, his flunky, his thug and his valet
Who stole the election a few seconds ago?
He'll tell you "no". de structo
Who can build a better bomb?
This is dangerous and wrong
Sing it in an anti-war song
Pleased to plunder and patrol
Is there left no place to go
Where people haven't heard no more
of Dr. de Structo
Coming around
Prowling at late
With his henchmen, his flunky, his thug and his valet
Who stole the election a few seconds ago?
He'll tell you "no". de structo
The beast been coming around
Prowling at late
Preaching a message
Intolerance and hate
Who lost their Freedoms a few seconds ago?
Oh If I Just Knew The Truth, Then I Would
not Be Such A Liar
give Me A Chance Again Sir, Give Me One
more Chance, Seems All My Worlds On Fire
oh I Can't Set It Back Down, Once I Hear
that Evil Sound
and They Say There's No Other Way
oh Lord, I'm Going Again
but The Man Won't Tell, No The Man Won't

What have you done
How could you be so
So many times
Accidents don't happen this much
Not this time every day
It's such a bad excuse
To wait for tomorrow
To think another day's
Enough to wait for the next
Do you really need time?
You know I can't leave
Though you hate to hear this every night
I can't keep you unaware
Of the time that you have
After how long you've asked
I can't make you forget
I've forgotten to say
So many things
Too many times
Complete all the half thoughts
That were only half mine
About how if nothing happened
That it was meant to be
I can't believe what kind of things
I made myself believe
If I take my own advice
It will always only show
The meaning it's lacked
If I found a new conviction
Will you and I start to feel it
We try to laugh a lot
thinking there's nothing more
when nothing feels like living
just waiting for something more
There's blood on the table cloth
it's there on the pillow case
Leave it all here
leave this place
it's not the same
When there's nothing to do but try to act like nothing's changed
Just relax
just stop thinking
Put it out
if you know it's too much
I don't know
that's all I can say
and it means nothing
to be crushed is not to be hit and then left to recover. it's to be left untouched,
unable to pass from one place to another.
to be crushed is not to be held down by some minor influence.
it's to be left alone with nothing to understand.
to be drowning is not to be suffered as some cruel fate. it should be taken as a blessing,
maybe even a gift from god.
but i've never seen him give anything away and i've never known him to have anything to say.
The light burned out
I couldn't see how to change it
I couldn't move at all
and thought I might slip and fall
so I decided to stand there
and wait until morning
In the dark
do things make a difference
in the emptiness
I don't know if it's worth it
I don't know if I should keep trying
when most signs point to giving up
if there were someone to take advice from
would he say give up
Am I losing what should be mine
I don't know if I really mind
or am I misusing what's not mine
what's really never mine
Everything moves too fast
that's why there's so much still left in the past
I know I don't want to be overlooked
but am I sure how long this should last
I went out to look for you
I wasn't sure what you might do
but mostly I just wanted to save you
floating up to the hole in the sky, to the casual wink of uranus's wandering eye.
i looked down somewhere over europe and let down a rope with zeus on my side.
kypress was pointing her bony finger at the hole she'd make in turkey's belly. kithira could hear nothing else but the noise of laconia's engulfing war yell.
is she tartarean again today with her aphrodisiac the tarantella sway. in anagogical vision i am what i see.
in anaclitical remission there's nothing more to be. and i hit a wall with all i had. a start even with the first kiss
it ended in a scream of pain.
I'm leaving what I made behind
I'll have to let it speak for itself
Just make sure that I'm remembered
Not for good or bad just not forgotten
If I could lift my arm I'd grab yours
If I could open my eyes I wouldn't do it
I'll never know what it's like to feel safe again
How can you not see me lying here?
How can you not respond?
If you could hear me you'd do something
wind. the wind
begin to ascend.
reach for anything,
as the air has no end.
but soon, you'll wind
down through the air
with only the cold, hard ground
meeting you there.
feel the soil
running through your nose.
it's a wound down music box
that doesn't know how it goes.
it's a simple memory
that falls apart as it grows.
it's a simple memory
that falls apart as it grows.
now that picture is cracked
and the color is gone.
and the last thing I remember
I can no longer see.
there's a tree that grows into
a tree that collapses.
but from there, it goes off
If I can't pay attention
I can't think about
all the things that lead me to doubt
how much I am in the things that I do
what's new to me and what I already knew
but I can't see or hear
and I need to know if I'm missing something
But I don't need this in my life right now
is the last thing to say to me when I don't know how
to get beyond thinking of things
that are unimportant like this
I had no worries when I had no doubts
courage was something I could live without
but that's impossible
when there's something missing
I don't need to tell you
take it easy on me
when that's something I need
When I had no worries I had no doubts
at this point that's something I've forgotten about
like what's missing
But I would happily give it away
Looking at this empty room
Hearing these sounds
Whose distance I can’t measure
Through these walls
I heard, this is someone’s expression
It’s no use
I tried to look at this I know I can’t hide it
The specters are rabid
i told myself to relax and dipped my fingers in hot candle wax.
then i rolled the wax into a ball over an inch wide but one inch tall.
it was lopsided like the earth, or my head right after birth.
so i flattened the ball into pancake and thought of better things that i might make.
everytime god makes a fist, he thinks of better things he's missed and how he has messed up.
the earth is flat or so i made it. even though the world prevents it.
I had to wake up my head first
my body had a few more minutes
and my throat was dying of thirst
of course I should have known the morning would be this way
but there was no use ignoring
the rest of the day
Since people are dying in almost every possible place
I'd rather not leave the bed here with you
since there's a dead black cat scattered on my street
I'd rather stay here
under the sheets
There was a parade outside the window with no cars
just dead cats being pulled
by horses with blinds over their eyes
I'm sure we could see ourselves rolling in the cats
when the carts moved back and forth
I can't stand the way
I was that day
speechless with so much to say
I wish I had run away
but maybe it's not too bad
things didn't happen that way
At night when there's no moon
no one has a history
the Dark Ages last a few hours
but that's all the time that's needed
to erase memories
create horrible dreams
and ruin sleep
destroy all possibility of illumination
It's hard to live through this
it's harder to react
when everyone's behind your back
it's hard to know when you're being attacked
but it will tear you up someday
that's a hope I can't betray
these ages will go away
you want to talk about things you won't understand? then give me your ears. put them in my hands. give me your hands. put them over my ears so i don't have to hear a thing i say
if it makes me think.
i can't talk about things i don't understand so i leave it here in empty hands and i leave off the ink so i don't have to think or sink that low ever again.
because my memory of what's good is leaving me. i knew it would.
that part of me makes no sense.
From where I am I can smell the smoke
They're burning something - I don't want to know
Should I really sit here and wait
and hope it blows the other way
I wish I could see
and turn off my lungs when I run into poisoned air
which may finally be everywhere
I don't want to go to sleep
I don't even think I need it
Keep every light turned on
because it seems darker than ever
All the murderous greed
ignored by the ones with too many reasons
for keeping things running
If I blame them for anything
With a short fuse and Chinese directions
I think you'll light yourself on fire
because a Roman Candle's got no direction
it just waits to expire
And I know it takes a new addiction
to keep you from what you're addicted to
which is why I wish I could find a distraction
whose efficacy is tried and true
This person who thinks this is what I look like
well it's as though you were drunk for years
and if I didn't know better
I wiped away the sweat on my face
And I looked around the room
There was nothing out of place
But nothing was happening too soon
I could see the empty chair
Leaning against its shadow
Even though there was nothing there
There was something in my eyes followed
Like marks across the sky
Erased as they're made
I could see people going by
Through the moonlit shade
But no one stopped to look
Through the blinds on the window
I guess they all took
Me for someone they don't know
A parade falls apart
When the music slows down
When the streets are in knots
But there's no one left in town
When the sweat leaves your face
And the fear leaves your knees
And you live in this place
More than ever it seems true to say
Things won't always be this way
The ways we've thought to get this far
Are as outdated as we are
But I won't change it and neither will you
When what seemed the appropriate are now the wrong things to do
If in every act there's something good
I haven't done all the good things I could
And more than ever I know that's not true
Are there any good thing left to do?
Are there any right ways left to be?
That's not a question best left to me
Cause I won't say anything I should decide
If intentions aren't possible to hide
I won't act any way I don't
My room has never been this quiet
I can hear the dust collecting on the fridge that doesn't work
I can hear the candle burning
I can hear my ears working
but I still hear nothing when I listen for your voice
Just myself thinking that if I were to hear you
I think I wouldn't believe my ears
I thought I'd give anything for quiet
I think I told myself
I was losing my mind from the noise
But there's a sound the quiet makes now
more disquieting than your scream
losing memories begins and end with the senses
only my sense of you is going too
the bed at night is a life raft in the ocean of the dark. i hang my hands over the sides, pray to god knows what.
drifting somewhere in the black air, feeling only the blanket and the weight of the mattress. the mistress of the sheets.
too many successive nights of being miserable
give one the sense to sense the invisible. i know you're in this room but the air is too thick.
your living will harden as there's more time to kill each cell. each day that you dwell on a sense of life that threatens response will little regard
on a sense of pain against which god is no guard.
and I pray for you as you asked me to, but still I wonder what good it will do. I pray for you as you told me to, even though I know it does.
no good will come from this.
no thought could ever defend a body that lies in conscious decay.
if I could sign my name with the fluid that comes from my bones,
if I could sign over half of myself,
I'd do it for you.
you'd never ask me to, but still I'd wonder what good it would do.
I'd do it for you
as you told me not to.
even thought I know it does no good for your living will, no good for living well.
what was once so real now doesn't even exist. and now the memories are going, so just the feelings persist. and what thoughts come back i sometimes try to resist. the last of your strength fell apart first in your fist.
and i had no idea i had any ideas. sometimes i think
i've never thought about anything.
it was warm when you held me, when you dropped down beside me. but i saw your face turn to powder in a year.
and did it do any good to have anyone tell you that things weren't as bad as they had actually become?
you cut your head on the bedside table.
your temple bled as you were unable to remember the lines of what you were reading about someone deciding to quit speaking.
what i was just reading about someone deciding to quit
your unhappy accidents want a word with you. your tenants of contingency want to speak to you. these conditions deserve attention. this place where we live in unhealthy.
everyone deserves decency.
this is the kind of place you wouldn't drag you mother into. even though everyone's mother brought everyone here.
but if i had been in her place,
i can't say i wouldn't have done things the same.
no word's more misused than "absurd," but no word's more absurd than "misused." so fix this place. the ceiling's leaking from everywhere. bricks and beams are falling from the sky.
the dying roaches lying upside down send messages to their families.
their antennae tap the floor like the top few hairs on a father's head blowing in a cold wind.
"I'm not coming home tonight or any other night," they send as they rest stuck on their backs.
running through the memories of their lives, they wait. ignoring the sound of other little feet crawling to feed off of their helpless, decaying bodies.
they ask for forgiveness as their legs are spread apart, as their bellies are chewed open, as the blood leaves their heads.
Verse 1:
Love comes any moment, the right moment
There's just to much of my emotions left.
Love can sometimes be a magic or an illusion
And I just can't get you out of my mind
Cause ily and imy, there's no good on saying goodbye
Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to
say goodbye
Chorus:
Your smile, your voice, your laugh
It's the smile that I fake because you're not right
here with me
My heart, my soul, my faith
You stole, you crushed, you played with me
Just tell me the truth
Verse 2:
If you can dream it, you can do it
Keep you head up and don't ever let go
Just remember there’s a reason
Why things happen so lets just keep moving on
Everybody says to get back, sit back
And face reality to wake and look back
They say a picture worth a thousand words,
But your memories cause a million
Chorus:
Your smile, your voice, your laugh
It's the smile that I fake because you're not right
here with me
My heart, my soul, my faith
You stole, you crushed, you played with me
Just tell me the truth
Rap:
My heart skips a beat every-time that I see you
And I go crazy, stupid, idiotic, every-time you come
around
Yeh, that's how much you mean to me
And you go telling your friends that you don't want
nothing to do with me
Now D, I made you this song to tell you how you meant
Just sit back and listen cause these song came from me
I told, I cried, I showed, I was just a fool back then
And when you come around and I’ll be just fine you'll
be begging on your knees asking back for me
So long, fare thee well
The dancer and the dancing days have taken leave and fell
So turn down this bed of stone
Quench me with the deadly nightshade from the rose that you belong
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
Hush now, don't shake or break
Words have fallen silent like soldiers to the grave
No matter what they do or say
Lay me on the sleepy meadows by the tracks upon your face
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
The long December rain is falling now
Running down on streets to nowhere
Music is my life
You're my sweetest nightingale
But I can't hear it here no more
And I go...
I go...
I go...
I go...
If I could paint a sad goodbye;
I'd paint your eyes a clear blue sky.
Pluck you grace from a pale faced moon
And slumber down this tattered room.
If I could find an amber train;
Lord I'd ride it to the bitter end.
Passing hope in the summer bloom;
Passing dreams and a fading tune.
If I should stray amid crimson rose...
Whither angels on wings of gold?
Who for flowers in the month of May?
Who for you on your winter's day?
Who for flowers in the months of May?
