Fred: I am called Fred but you can call me... for help!
Plot
A Handyman in an old Hollywood apartment building has many stories to tell, leading to a voyeuristic look into five apartments, and five diverse lives. In "A Fresh Start," Carla would do anything to get out of her dreary apartment and change her life. She's got the looks. Now all she needs is a gun. In "Do Unto Others," apartment H contains curious samples of winning salesmanship, but not everyone is willing to buy. In "The Big Date," loneliness seems to be a permanent resident at apartment K, but its eviction is about to occur. In "The Lord's Work," they're making an attempt to clear the air in a certain apartment, even though clean air is not what this tenant wants. In "Petey," the residents in apartment G can't speak, but he has an awful lot on his mind.

In Her Arms . . . He Felt A Quiet Peace No Terror Could Disturb
"Mrs. Miniver" is more than a picture -- It's dramatic. It's tender. It's human. It's real.
Carol Beldon: I know how comfortable it is to curl up with a nice, fat book full of big words and think you're going to solve all the problems in the universe. But you're not, you know. A bit of action is required every now and then.
Clem Miniver: She was a good cook, as good cooks go. And as good cooks go, she went.
Vicar: This is the People's War. It is our war. We are the fighters. Fight it then. Fight it with all that is in us and may God defend the Right.
Kay Miniver: I think it's lovely having flowers named after you.
Kay Miniver: But in war, time is so precious to the young people.
Mr. Ballard: What goes to make a rose, ma'am, is breeding... and budding... and horse-manure, if you'll pardon the expression.::Mr. Ballard: And that's where you come in, ma'am.
Kay Miniver: Did you know that the 12th Lord Beldon was hanged?::Lady Beldon: He was beheaded! Such things happen in the best families. In fact, usually in the best families.
Vicar: We, in this quiet corner of England, have suffered the loss of friends very dear to us - some close to this church: George West, choir boy; James Bellard, station master and bell ringer and a proud winner, only one hour before his death, of the Belding Cup for his beautiful Miniver rose; and our hearts go out in sympathy to the two families who share the cruel loss of a young girl who was married at this altar only two weeks ago. The homes of many of us have been destroyed, and the lives of young and old have been taken. There is scarcely a household that hasn't been struck to the heart. And why? Surely you must have asked yourself this question. Why in all conscience should these be the ones to suffer? Children, old people, a young girl at the height of her loveliness. Why these? Are these our soldiers? Are these our fighters? Why should they be sacrificed? I shall tell you why. Because this is not only a war of soldiers in uniform. It is a war of the people, of all the people, and it must be fought not only on the battlefield, but in the cities and in the villages, in the factories and on the farms, in the home, and in the heart of every man, woman, and child who loves freedom! Well, we have buried our dead, but we shall not forget them. Instead they will inspire us with an unbreakable determination to free ourselves and those who come after us from the tyranny and terror that threaten to strike us down. This is the people's war! It is our war! We are the fighters! Fight it then! Fight it with all that is in us, and may God defend the right.
Clem Miniver: Good ol' Vin.::Kay Miniver: Good luck, Vin!
Vicar: Good evening, lady Beldon. [to Lady Beldon who has just entered the railway compartment he is already sharing with Mrs. Miniver]::Lady Beldon: Good evening, vicar. Oh,oh, shopping's absolutely impossible nowadays! You can't get near the counter and when you do, they haven't got it and you pay twice as much for it.::Vicar: [laughs] What a wonderful description!::Lady Beldon: [to her servant] Sit down Simmons and don't snip! [to the vicar] My dear man, I spent the whole afternoon being pushed around by middle-class females buying things they can't possibly afford.::Kay Miniver: Oh, dear, that means me.::Lady Beldon: Oh, no, much worse!
Plot
After the death of her husband, Christine realizes she has possibly wasted her life by marrying him instead of the man towards whom, in her youth, she had a stronger inclination. To overcome these dreary thoughts, she decides to find out about him and the other men who danced with her during a ball that was a turning point in her life, many years ago. She pays a visit to those forgotten acquaintances one after the other; Christine is not only surprised to see how they have fared, but also discovers the impact she had, unknowingly, on the feelings and the destiny of these persons.

Frederico Chaves Guedes, nicknamed Fred (born 3 October 1983 in Teofilo Otoni), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker for Brazilian club Fluminense. Fred scored the fastest goal in Brazilian football history while playing for América Mineiro, against Vila Nova during a Copa São Paulo de Juniores match. The goal was scored 3.17 seconds after the match started. He is known for being able to score from almost any angle and is a skillful free kick taker.
Fred spent four seasons at América-MG, before he left for city rival Cruzeiro in mid of 2004 season. As Feyenoord had an agreement with América, the Dutch club got Magrão from Cruzeiro, and retained 10% economic rights on Fred, and Fred himself held 15%.
After scoring 40 goals in 43 games for Cruzeiro in 2005 season, Fred was signed by defending champion Lyon for €15 million. (which €3million of them was received by Fred, 5% as solidarity contribution, €1.4M to Lyon's agent and €510,913 as Brazil tax).Feyenoord then claimed Cruzeiro 10% of the transfer fee, as the club alleged the fee was €1.5 million instead of €933,908.70 in Cruzeiro viewpoint. The Dutch club sued to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and won.
I had a realization of God, I saw God
And umm, it's not a face or a figure or anything
It was a presence, umm the woods
(all natural) God is all natural
The sun, the universe, everything
You, me were part of God, were part of God
It was an incredible feeling

See the people on their way
Going nowhere, waste their day
And it's strange, strange
And so I sit in padded cells
Through the bars, I might as well
And it's strange, strange
Though I'll stay here 'til my end
I'm better off than you, my friend
(Ooooh-oooh-oooh-oh-oh!
Ooooh-oooh-oooh-oh-oh!)
Damn you Hollywood you got me good
You made me think that I understood
People and places that don't exist
Now tremble in my wake because I'm shaking my fist at
None of these memories are mine
You put them in my mind and the far side of the world
Now everything that happens is a sign
There is no plot and there sure is no girl
Oh, we need to work it out
Out from what we've seen
Seeing that the story's not
The story of the screen
This technicolour mess
Well, it's not what you came for
(Ooooh-oooh-oooh-oh-oh!)
Alright stop, this cannot possibly be
(Ooooh-oooh-oooh-oh-oh!)
Alright stop, this cannot possibly be
Caught in the light of your big blue screen
No good reason to suspect anything
Always in the sunshine, always in the clean
Don't know what it is, there's something unsure about
None of these memories are mine
You put them in my mind and the far side of the world
Now everything that happens is a sign
There is no plot and there sure is no girl
Oh, we need to work it out
Out from what we've seen
Seeing that the story's not

I have a dog, and his name is Fred.
Poor old feller, he'd be better off dead,
Than to live his life with me;
Me being one old flea.
Fred used to scratch his back and side,
Poor old feller, I would run and hide,
I'd drink me a big old beer,
And wait till the coast was clear.
I know I sound like a mean old rat,
But I'm just a flea, you know I can't help that,
We're a perfect team, a pretty good match;
I provide the itch and he replies with the scratch.
Scratch, Fred, roll on the ground,
Scratch, Fred, it makes a musical sound:
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
Fred won shows, he was a big success,
So I was living at the best address,
Life was a pleasure for me;
He made me a high-class flea.
Fred won ribbons and loving cups-
He outclassed all of them other pups,
But as soon as we were back in the yard,
I'd nip that rascal hard.
I know I sound like a mean old rat,
But I'm just a flea, you know I can't help that,
We're a perfect team, a pretty good match;
I provide the itch and he replies with the scratch.
Scratch, Fred, roll on the ground,
Scratch, Fred, it makes a musical sound:
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
Well, Fred got older and he quit the shows-
Makes you wonder where the glory goes.
Now we lie in the noonday sun,
And think of the stuff we've won.
Fred gets sleepy when the sun gets hot,
So we take a little snooze until the day is shot,
And if I want to go in at night,
I give him a little bite.
I take it easy, 'cause he's old and fat,
But I'm still a flea, you know I can't help that.
We're a perfect team, a pretty good match;
I provide the itch and he replies with the scratch.
Scratch, Fred, roll on the ground,
Scratch, Fred, it makes a musical sound:
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
Chicka chicka chicka chicka chhhh!
