Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will wed and host a reception at Florence's imposing 16th-century Belvedere Fort on May 24, according to a spokeswoman at the Florence mayor's office. The couple rented the fort, located next to Florence's famed Boboli Gardens, for 300,000 euros ($410,000) and a Protestant minister will preside over the ceremony. Belvedere Fort was built in 1590, believed using plans by Don Giovanni de' Medici. Located near the Arno River, it offers a panoramic view of Florence and the surrounding Tuscan hills.

"I always heard the word refugee but I never imagined I would be one", says Samar Hariri, a grieving school teacher and mother of five. Samar, her husband and their children are just a handful of the 100,000 displaced Syrians who flocked to Camp Zaatari - just a few kilometres from the border with Syria - and who now call it home. Two years ago, collections of tents sat incongruously in the middle of this barren desert. Now a refugee city with a distinctive heart and soul of its own, a community of resilient, hopeful people looks set to grow ever more established. "You ask yourself, why is this happening to me? A person who always had dignity now has none". Once a prosperous, middle class family man, Abu Diaa now focuses on transforming their camp into something resembling home: an essential coping mechanism for enduring life in a refugee camp. It is an impulse Kilian Kleinschmidt, head of Zaatari Camp, understands: "When you lose everything... your home, your belongings, you have lost your identity. Everything has gone." Chinese leader Xi Jinping and President Barack Obama struck a deal Wednesday to limit greenhouse gases, with China committing for the first time to cap carbon emissions and Obama unveiling a plan for deeper US emissions reductions through 2025. China, the world's biggest greenhouse gas emitter, pledged in the far-reaching agreement to cap its rapidly growing carbon emissions by 2030, or earlier if possible. It also set a daunting goal of increasing the share of non-fossil fuels to 20 per cent of the country's energy mix by 2030. Obama announced a target to cut US emissions 26 to 28 per cent below 2005 levels by 2025, the first time the president has set a goal beyond the existing 17 per cent target by 2020 The announcement capped a trip that also resulted in steps to cut tariffs on technology products, adopt warning measures to reduce the chance of accidental military conflict, and ease visas. The two countries together account for about 40 per cent of the world's greenhouse gas emissions, and their commitments are likely to energize talks underway to set new post-2020 targets when climate negotiators meet in Paris in December next year. "The announcement provides a real shot of momentum for international climate negotiations," said one administration official who like others interviewed was not authorised to talk on the record ahead of the joint announcement from Obama and Xi. "Historically, the US and China have often seemed like antagonists in these negotiations."

The footage captures the last moments inside the vessel before the ship capsized. Of the 325 high school students aboard the vessel that sank on April 15, more than 300 people died or is still missing. In the video, the students start out laughing and joking with each other, not yet knowing the severity of the situation. They are seen huddled below deck, wondering if they'll make the news and discussing what they should do. However, concern grows as the listing becomes worse. In the video, a voice over the loudspeaker repeats a warning for passengers to stay where they are at least three times, even as the boat begins to tilt even more and it becomes improbable for the students to leave their cabins. The video was taken on the cell phone of 17-year-old student Park Su-hyeon, when rescuers recovered his body. The boy's father, Park Jong-dae, provided it to the media, saying he wanted to show the world the ship's condition as it sank. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. The leaders of China and Japan have met for formal talks after more than two years of severe tension over a territorial dispute. Chinese President Xi Jinping and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe met on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (Apec) summit in Beijing. The talks are the first between the two leaders. Mr Abe said it was the first step to "improving ties". Relations have been soured by the row over islands in the East China Sea. The strategically important islands, known as Diaoyu by China and Senkaku by Japan, are controlled by Japan. Tokyo's decision to purchase three of them from their private Japanese owner in September 2012 led to an escalation in a dispute that has rumbled quietly for years.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping and President Barack Obama struck a deal Wednesday to limit greenhouse gases, with China committing for the first time to cap carbon emissions and Obama unveiling a plan for deeper US emissions reductions through 2025.

China, the world\'s biggest greenhouse gas emitter, pledged in the far-reaching agreement to cap its rapidly growing carbon emissions by 2030, or earlier if possible. It also set a daunting goal of increasing the share of non-fossil fuels to 20 per cent of the country\'s energy mix by 2030.

Obama announced a target to cut US emissions 26 to 28 per cent below 2005 levels by 2025, the first time the president has set a goal beyond the existing 17 per cent target by 2020

The announcement capped a trip that also resulted in steps to cut tariffs on technology products, adopt warning measures to reduce the chance of accidental military conflict, and ease visas.

The two countries together account for about 40 per cent of the world\'s greenhouse gas emissions, and their commitments are likely to energize talks underway to set new post-2020 targets when climate negotiators meet in Paris in December next year.

The father of a 17-year-old boy who died in the South Korea ferry sinking has released footage taken from his son\'s cell phone. The footage captures the last moments inside the vessel before the ship capsized.

Of the 325 high school students aboard the vessel that sank on April 15, more than 300 people died or is still missing.

In the video, the students start out laughing and joking with each other, not yet knowing the severity of the situation. They are seen huddled below deck, wondering if they\'ll make the news and discussing what they should do.

The boy\'s father, Park Jong-dae, provided it to the media, saying he wanted to show the world the ship\'s condition as it sank.
