A watch is a small clock, typically worn either on the wrist or attached on a chain and carried in a pocket; wristwatches, however, are the most common type of watch used today. Watches evolved in the 17th century from spring powered clocks, which appeared in the 15th century. The first watches were strictly mechanical. As technology progressed, the mechanisms used to measure time have, in some cases, been replaced by use of quartz vibrations or electromagnetic pulses. The first digital electronic watch was developed in 1970.
Before wristwatches became popular in the 1920s, most watches were pocket watches, which often had covers and were carried in a pocket and attached to a watch chain or watch fob. In the early 1900s, the wristwatch, originally called a Wristlet, was reserved for women and considered more of a passing fad than a serious timepiece. Men, who carried pocket watches, were quoted as saying they would "sooner wear a skirt as wear a wristwatch". This changed in World War I, when soldiers on the battlefield found pocket watches to be impractical and attached their watches to their wrist by a cupped leather strap. It is also believed that Girard-Perregaux equipped the German Imperial Navy with wristwatches in a similar fashion as early as the 1880s, to be used while synchronizing naval attacks and firing artillery.

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and occasional actress. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of fourteen to pursue a career in country music. She signed to the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. The release of Swift's self-titled debut album in 2006 established her as a country music star. "Our Song", her third single, made her the youngest sole writer and singer of a number one song on the country chart. She received a Best New Artist nomination at the 50th Grammy Awards.
Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in late 2008. Buoyed by the chart success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", Fearless attracted a crossover audience and became the top-selling album of 2009. The record won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest ever Album of the Year winner. Fearless also received Album of the Year plaudits at the American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards, making it the most awarded album in country music history. In 2010, Swift released her third album, Speak Now, which sold over one million copies in its first week. She then embarked on the 111-date Speak Now World Tour, which was attended by over 1.6 million fans and has become one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time. The album's third single, "Mean", won two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Sam Harris may refer to:
Push it to the Limit,
Say watch to someone called Fred,
Sing all night and Dance on your head,
Push it to the Limit!!!
Chorus:
Oh Little Town of Derby,
There lived a fat bastard,
He was very round and lay around, and never went to the gym.
He was called Ridley,
And he was not a thin boy,
But everyone knew, that he was the embarrasing silences king.
As Soon as you walked in the joint, I could see you were a puff of distinction,
A real big bender!
Gay looking - too refined,
God - I'd hate to know what's gouing on in your mind.
So let me get right to the point,
Please don't pop yourcork for every guy you see!
Hay big bender,
Stay the fuck away from me.
Then this song ended with thiss.......!!!!!!
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
Everybody's building
Ships and boats
Some are building monuments
Others dummy pound notes
Everybody's in dispair
Every girl and boy
But when Quinn the eskimo gets here
Everybody's gonna jump for joy
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
I like to go just like the rest
I like my sugar sweet
But jumping queues and making haste
Just aint my cup of meat
Everyone's beneath the trees
Feeding pigeons on a limb
But when Quinn the eskimo gets here
All the pigeons gonna run to him
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
Let me do what I wanna do
I can't decide on my own
Just tell me where to put 'em
And I'll tell you who to call
Nobody can get no sleep
Cause there's someone on everyones toes
But when Quinn the eskimo gets here
Everybody's gonna wanna doze
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
Come on without
Come on within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn
The dust is settling now, I can see your expression
The look on your face is asking me howk how can you leave me here?
My words are falling to the ground, in one ear out the other
I'll just have to live it out
Watch these chains fall from my hands
Then you will understand, then you will understand.
Watch me walk through these prison bars
Then you will know my heart is free
Emptiness plagues you inside, you're surrounded by sorrow
It follows you where you hide, and exposes you every time
There is life beyond this crippling cage, and shelter from the rage
Only you can decide...
For the first time I'm alive
no longer pressed by doubt and fear
No longer drowning in my tears
I wasn't born with a spoon in my mouth
but I get lucky now and then,
I've traveled north, east, west and south
like any bird in the wind
Wanderin' ways, what have you brought me to
I know what I want to do
I can get lonesome and yearn for home some
but I start to feel just like a pack of fools, fools.
She came along with thunder on her mind
on a stormy day
lookin' me over she smiled and said,
"Where there's a will there's a way"
Hey little one, what have you brought me to
and what would you have me do
I've been changin' and rearrangin'
but you're makin' me feel just like a pack of fools, fools.
I went searchin' for you
all across this whole wide land
and then you found me standin' here
with my heart out in my hand,
I'm a pack of fools, a pack of fools, a pack of fools, a pack of fools, you're makin' me feel just like a pack of fools.
You go away with life at your heels,
where or why I've never known,
comin' back you ask me just how do I feel,
I said, "easy come, easy go"
little one, what have you come to
and what do you mean to do,
I'll always take you back, you know
but you're makin' me feel just like a pack of fools, fools
yes you know you're makin' me feel just like a pack of fools, fools
Pack of fools, a pack of fools, pack of fools, a pack of fools, makin' me feel just like a pack of fools
did you tell them about me
what words did you use
did you sound excited
when they heard the news
set your watch i want to hear it tick [x3]
if this thing explodes you'll need to get out quick
did you tell them about us
how we came to town
how you tore it up yeah
and i threw it down
set your watch i want to hear it tick [x3]
when this thing explodes you'll want to get out quick
set your watch i want to hear it tick [x3]
it's going to explode you better get out quick
[bridge]
a door is to open a door is to shut [x4]
