Have your baby or toddler learn with a real teacher, Ms Rachel! In this video Ms Rachel will teach key milestones and model activities that promote your baby’s brain growth and development. Have your baby practice milestones with a real teacher, Ms Rachel! Ms Rachel uses baby songs, nursery rhymes and play to show how to encourage speech and language development, cognitive skills and social emotional growth.
Take Ms Rachel’s Baby Test and see how many gestures your baby can do! Try to get 16 gestures by 16 months old. Ms Rachel will show and encourage 18 gestures in the first 10 minutes of this video that you can work on with your child. Then she will model speech development from infants to 15 months old. She will also model pretend play which is an 18 month old milestone. Throughout the whole video, other key milestones are taught through fun kids songs, rhymes and play! Learn the alphabet, letters, letter sounds, and phonics with fun ABC Acorn Toys! In this Toddler Learning Video, you will learn all 26 letters of the alphabet and all of their sounds! We also show both the uppercase and lowercase letters to help your child become familiar with both. After all of the letters and sounds we will show the alphabet song. Phonics, phonics songs and learning letter sounds are an excellent way to start helping your child learn to read. You will also see hand cues for many of the sounds. We wanted to create a video with all of the letters and all of their sounds, that also showed a catchy and easy to remember song to practice the sounds. We know you will love learning your ABCS with Ms Rachel and her team of experts in early childhood education.
If your child learns to identify their letters (uppercase and lowercase) and even some of their letter sounds before preschool and kindergarten, they will be in excellent shape! You should also focus on teaching them social emotional skills such as how to share, take turns, what to do when another child takes a toy they are playing with, how to handle big emotions and self regulation. Social emotional skills are incredibly important for success in preschool!
If you think your child has a speech delay or is not meeting their milestones, definitely talk to your pediatrician now. Also, call early intervention. Every state in the United States has Early Intervention. You may qualify for free speech therapy or other therapies through your state's early intervention program. You can also get evaluated by a private speech therapist. The earlier you do this, the better! Sometimes kids need speech, OT and/or physical therapy.

Ms. Rachel has a masters degree in music education from NYU. She studies early childhood education and leadership through courses and trainings and Harvard and Bank Street College. She has also been a toddler teacher at a school for children with special needs including autism, apraxia, speech delays, developmental delays, down syndrome and cerebral palsy. She has worked in homes to support families with children with special needs. She believes all children are gifted, precious and our teachers as well!

Rachel Goswell
Rachel Goswell (born 16 May 1971) is an English singer-songwriter and musician who rose to prominence as vocalist and guitarist of the shoegaze band Slowdive. Goswell, along with Neil Halstead, Ian McCutcheon and former Chapterhouse member Simon Rowe became Mojave 3 when Slowdive transitioned to a more country/folk rock style. She released a solo album in 2004, titled Waves Are Universal on 4AD Records.
History
Goswell was born in Fareham, England. She began playing guitar at age seven, and was trained on classical guitar at age fourteen, along with childhood friend Neil Halstead, with whom she formed Slowdive in 1989. Regarding her musical influences, she stated :"For me personally, from a singing point of view, I was inspired by Siouxsie Sioux".
After Slowdive's dissolution in 1995, Goswell and Halstead formed Mojave 3, an offshoot of Slowdive; the group captured a more folk rock-oriented sound as opposed to Slowdive's shoegaze sound. They released five albums, their last being Puzzles Like You in 2006, before going on a hiatus.

Rachel
Rachel (Hebrew: רָחֵל, Modern Rakhél, Tiberian Rāḥēl) (Arabic: راحيل) was the favorite of Biblical patriarch Jacob's two wives as well as the mother of Joseph and Benjamin, two of the twelve progenitors of the tribes of Israel. The name "Rachel" is from an unused root meaning: "to journey as a ewe that is a good traveller." Rachel was the daughter of Laban and the younger sister of Leah, Jacob's first wife. Rachel was a niece of Rebekah (Jacob's mother), Laban being Rebekah's brother, making Jacob her first cousin.
Marriage to Jacob
Rachel is first mentioned in the Hebrew Bible in Genesis 29 when Jacob happens upon her as she is about to water her father's flock. She was the second daughter of Laban, Rebekah’s brother. Jacob had traveled a great distance to find Laban. Rebekah had sent him there to be safe from his furious twin brother, Esau.
During Jacob's stay, Jacob fell in love with Rachel and agreed to work seven years for Laban in return for her hand in marriage. On the night of the wedding, the bride was veiled and Jacob did not notice that Leah, Rachel's older sister, had been substituted for Rachel. Whereas "Rachel was lovely in form and beautiful," "Leah had tender eyes". Later Jacob confronted Laban, who excused his own deception by insisting that the older sister should marry first. He assured Jacob that after his wedding week was finished, he could take Rachel as a wife as well, and work another seven years as payment for her. When God “saw that Leah was unloved, he opened her womb”, (Gen 29:31) and she gave birth to four sons.

Rachel Bluwstein
Rachel Bluwstein Sela (September 20 (Julian calendar), 1890 – April 16, 1931) was a Hebrew-language poet who immigrated to Palestine in 1909. She is known by her first name, Rachel, (Hebrew: רחל) or as Rachel the Poetess (Hebrew: רחל המשוררת).
Biography
Rachel was born in Saratov in Imperial Russia on September 20, 1890, the eleventh daughter of Isser-Leib and Sophia Bluwstein, and granddaughter of the rabbi of the Jewish community in Kiev. During her childhood, her family moved to Poltava, Ukraine, where she attended a Russian-speaking Jewish school and, later, a secular high school. She began writing poetry at the age of 15. When she was 17, she moved to Kiev and began studying painting.
At the age of 19, Rachel visited Palestine with her sister en route to Italy, where they were planning to study art and philosophy. They decided to stay on as Zionist pioneers, learning Hebrew by listening to children’s chatter in kindergartens. They settled in Rehovot and worked in the orchards. Later, Rachel moved to Kvutzat Kinneret on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where she studied and worked in a women's agricultural school. At Kinneret, she met Zionist leader A. D. Gordon who was to be a great influence on her life, and to whom she dedicated her first Hebrew poem. During this time, she also met and had a romantic relationship with Zalman Rubashov—the object of many of her love poems —who later became known as Zalman Shazar and was the third president of Israel.

Rachel (singer)
Rachel, born in Cavaillon, Vaucluse, is a French singer best known in Europe for representing France in the Eurovision Song Contest 1964.
Biography
She entered a singing competition organised by Mireille Hartuch who had invited Rachel to her 'Petit Conservatoire'.
She went on to sign a contract with the Barclay Records label, and released her first (45 rmp) recording entitled Les Amants Blessés in 1963.
In 1964, she represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with her entry called "Le Chant de Mallory", which was her greatest hit. She did not win, but scored 14 points and finished in fourth place.

Learn the alphabet, letters, letter sounds, and phonics with fun ABC Acorn Toys! In this Toddler Learning Video, you will learn all 26 letters of the alphabet and all of their sounds! We also show both the uppercase and lowercase letters to help your child become familiar with both. After all of the letters and sounds we will show the alphabet song. Phonics, phonics songs and learning letter sounds are an excellent way to start helping your child learn to read. You will also see hand cues for many of the sounds. We wanted to create a video with all of the letters and all of their sounds, that also showed a catchy and easy to remember song to practice the sounds. We know you will love learning your ABCS with Ms Rachel and her team of experts in early childhood education.
If your child learns to identify their letters (uppercase and lowercase) and even some of their letter sounds before preschool and kindergarten, they will be in excellent shape! You should also focus on teaching them social emotional skills such as how to share, take turns, what to do when another child takes a toy they are playing with, how to handle big emotions and self regulation. Social emotional skills are incredibly important for success in preschool!
If you think your child has a speech delay or is not meeting their milestones, definitely talk to your pediatrician now. Also, call early intervention. Every state in the United States has Early Intervention. You may qualify for free speech therapy or other therapies through your state's early intervention program. You can also get evaluated by a private speech therapist. The earlier you do this, the better! Sometimes kids need speech, OT and/or physical therapy.

Have your toddler learn with a real teacher, Ms Rachel! Ms Rachel has packed so much important learning into this “Learn Animals with Ms Rachel” special! Not only does she teach farm animals, animal sounds, zoo animals, and baby animal names, she sneaks in learning concepts to prepare children for preschool, such as modeling “what questions,” gestures, first words, first sentences, 5 W Questions (Who, What, When, Where, Why) pretend play skills, counting, colors, shapes, numbers, letters and letter sounds! She includes fun nursery rhymes & kids songs that encourage movement and language development. She also teaches prepositions such as under, next to, on, behind, in and out! As always, you can count on Ms Rachel to encourage language, movement and engagement. She is a master at encouraging speech and making screen time active, not passive. This kind of screen time is more beneficial. Ms Rachel uses fun learning toys to engage and excite toddlers about learning and encourage speech.
The learning standards and milestones she encourages range from 9 month old milestones like clapping to 5 year old milestones such as using the words and phrases “behind” and “next to” correctly and asking and answering “why questions.” Young children will be challenged to learn more and older siblings can watch and learn together with little ones. “Songs for Littles” is better screen time for bright toddlers! Your child may qualify for free or very low cost therapies such as speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. Have your baby practice milestones with a real teacher, Ms Rachel! Ms Rachel uses baby songs, nursery rhymes and play to show how to encourage speech and language development, cognitive skills and social emotional growth.
Take Ms Rachel’s Baby Test and see how many gestures your baby can do! Try to get 16 gestures by 16 months old. Ms Rachel will show and encourage 18 gestures in the first 10 minutes of this video that you can work on with your child. Then she will model speech development from infants to 15 months old. She will also model pretend play which is an 18 month old milestone. Throughout the whole video, other key milestones are taught through fun kids songs, rhymes and play! Ms Rachel will also show sign language and first words. While babies watch, parents can learn more about their baby’s development and how to support them during this important time!
Also we have a very special guest this episode from the Today Show! Gadi Schwartz guest stars in this episode and sings, dances and even teaches us how to count in Spanish!

Learn the alphabet, letters, letter sounds, and phonics with fun ABC Acorn Toys! In this Toddler Learning Video, you will learn all 26 letters of the alphabet and all of their sounds! We also show both the uppercase and lowercase letters to help your child become familiar with both. After all of the letters and sounds we will show the alphabet song. Phonics, phonics songs and learning letter sounds are an excellent way to start helping your child learn to read. You will also see hand cues for many of the sounds. We wanted to create a video with all of the letters and all of their sounds, that also showed a catchy and easy to remember song to practice the sounds. We know you will love learning your ABCS with Ms Rachel and her team of experts in early childhood education.
If your child learns to identify their letters (uppercase and lowercase) and even some of their letter sounds before preschool and kindergarten, they will be in excellent shape! You should also focus on teaching them social emotional skills such as how to share, take turns, what to do when another child takes a toy they are playing with, how to handle big emotions and self regulation. Social emotional skills are incredibly important for success in preschool!
If you think your child has a speech delay or is not meeting their milestones, definitely talk to your pediatrician now. Also, call early intervention. Every state in the United States has Early Intervention. You may qualify for free speech therapy or other therapies through your state's early intervention program. You can also get evaluated by a private speech therapist. The earlier you do this, the better! Sometimes kids need speech, OT and/or physical therapy.

Ms. Rachel has a masters degree in music education from NYU. She studies early childhood education and leadership through courses and trainings and Harvard and Bank Street College. She has also been a toddler teacher at a school for children with special needs including autism, apraxia, speech delays, developmental delays, down syndrome and cerebral palsy. She has worked in homes to support families with children with special needs. She believes all children are gifted, precious and our teachers as well!

Rachel Goswell
Rachel Goswell (born 16 May 1971) is an English singer-songwriter and musician who rose to prominence as vocalist and guitarist of the shoegaze band Slowdive. Goswell, along with Neil Halstead, Ian McCutcheon and former Chapterhouse member Simon Rowe became Mojave 3 when Slowdive transitioned to a more country/folk rock style. She released a solo album in 2004, titled Waves Are Universal on 4AD Records.
History
Goswell was born in Fareham, England. She began playing guitar at age seven, and was trained on classical guitar at age fourteen, along with childhood friend Neil Halstead, with whom she formed Slowdive in 1989. Regarding her musical influences, she stated :"For me personally, from a singing point of view, I was inspired by Siouxsie Sioux".
After Slowdive's dissolution in 1995, Goswell and Halstead formed Mojave 3, an offshoot of Slowdive; the group captured a more folk rock-oriented sound as opposed to Slowdive's shoegaze sound. They released five albums, their last being Puzzles Like You in 2006, before going on a hiatus.
