Vice Ganda (born March 31, 1976) is a Filipino stand-up comedian, television host and actor. He is best known as the main judge on ABS-CBN’s talent show It's Showtime and the host of Gandang Gabi, Vice!.
He is declared as 43rd Box Office Entertainment Awards, Phenomenal Box Office Star & Male Concert Performer of the Year, in the year 2012.
He is also known for his lead roles in commercially successful films Petrang Kabayo and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin which became the highest-grossing film in Philippines.
He gained popularity for his comic routines, for which he uses observational comedy on typical “Pinoy” lifestyle and his use of situational irony and sarcasm when reacting to Filipino culture & behavior and human sexuality. He is the first openly gay endorser for a major product in the Philippines, which is Globe Telecom in the Philippines.
Vice, Jose Marie Viceral, is the youngest of five children. He grew up in the neighborhood of José Abád Santos Street in Manuguit, Tondo, Manila. His father, a barangay captain, was murdered when he was young prompting his mother to work as a caregiver abroad leaving them by themselves. He obtained his college education at Far Eastern University studying Political Science. Around the age of 19, Vice was writing and performing his stand-up comic routines in comedy bars in Ermita, Manila.
Jose Manalo (born Ariel Pagtalonia Manalo on February 12, 1966 in Manila) is a Filipino actor, comedian working for GMA Network at the noon-time variety show Eat Bulaga! and for TV5 at The Jose and Wally Show.
Jose began his TV appearances on "Valiente" as one of the supporting characters. He later started appearing and playing bits on Eat Bulaga. He then became a regular co-host. His long-time friend Wally Bayola was also entering show business and they became a comic duo. He also appeared in several sitcoms on GMA Network like Daddy Di Do Du and Ful Haus, both starring Vic Sotto.
In 2010, Manalo reportedly returned to TV5 (formerly ABC 5) for his former sitcom, "My Darling Aswang" with Vic Sotto & Ritchie Reyes (also known as Ritchie D' Horsie). This was his 2nd TV show on TV5 after Boyoyongs TV Show formerly aired in 1992.
In 2011, Manalo recently returned to sitcom via his new TV5 comedy show, The Jose & Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto, with his co-stars Wally Bayola, Vic Sotto & Jimmy Santos. Manalo also worked at Star Cinema's movies with Vic Sotto like Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak! and the most successful MMFF entry Enteng Ng Ina Mo. Last April 2011, Jose Manalo also appeared for the first time in ABS-CBN's shows like The Buzz and ASAP Rocks.
Willie Revillame (born in Manila, January 27, 1961) is a television host, actor, comedian and a recording artist in the Philippines.
He is the host of TV5's primetime variety show Wil Time Bigtime (originally launched as Willing Willie). He was a host of GMA Network's noontime variety show Lunch Date, as well as ABS-CBN's noontime shows Magandang Tanghali Bayan and Wowowee.
Revillame is developing a real estate business, the Wil Tower Mall near ABS-CBN Eugenio Lopez Drive in Quezon City, expected to be completed in September 2011.
Revillame married Liz Almoro in a civil ceremony at Lipa, Batangas in March 2005 officiated by Vilma Santos. This was followed shortly by a church wedding in June 2005. Prior to his marriage to Almoro, Revillame was married to actress Princess Punzalan.
On February 4, 2006, while Revillame was hosting Wowowee, the PhilSports Arena stampede occurred. On August 24, 2007, the Department of Justice dismissed criminal charges against Revillame in connection with the stampede. However, Justice Secretary Gonzalez affirmed the charge against 14 others, including ABS-CBN officials.
