Played is a 2006 crime film produced by Caspar von Winterfeldt, Nick Simunek and Mick Rossi, executive produced by John Daly, co-produced by Nigel Mead and Lenny Bitondo, written by Sean Stanek and Mick Rossi and directed by Sean Stanek. The film stars Val Kilmer, Gabriel Byrne, Vinnie Jones, Patrick Bergin, Joanne Whalley, Bruno Kirby (in his final film), Anthony LaPaglia, Roy Dotrice, Patsy Kensit, Andy Nyman and Mick Rossi.
Originally intended to be a short, the film was shot without the use of a scripted screenplay and the director (Sean Stanek) allowed the actors to improvise a majority of dialogue as he shot the scenes. The picture was shot on location in London and Los Angeles and took three years to complete.
The story opens in Los Angeles with Dillon (Val Kilmer) who receives a phone call from Ray Burns (Mick Rossi) who has just been shot and desperately needs help. Dillon is a cleaner for a gangster named Eddie (Gabriel Byrne) and has been sent to assist Ray should he require it. After a colorful opening title sequence which follows Dillon's drive to the house, he finds Ray almost bleeding to death on a sofa. Removing all of the evidence, Dillon leaves carrying Ray to his car but not before he torches the house, destroying any evidence of Ray's presence. As Dillon and Ray drive away, Dillon struggles to keep Ray conscious and relates to him a story of a humorous encounter with a Mexican auto mechanic, which coins one of the catchphrases of the film: "I'm not gonna taco".

Safri Duo is a Danish percussion duo composed of Uffe Savery (born April 5, 1966) and Morten Friis (born August 21, 1968). Initially classically oriented, by 1999 they were discovered by a label executive working on classical music. After being signed, a track mixing both tribal sound and modern electronica was set to be released in 2000. The result was the popular "Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song)", that became one of the most popular songs in Europe in 2001. The single and subsequent album, Episode II each sold one million units worldwide, making Safri Duo the most internationally successful Danish act since Aqua.
Uffe Savery and Morten Friis met in 1977 while attending the Tivoli Garden Boys' Guard, and later, during their time at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, formed an experimental duo, called Safri Duo, whose name originated from the first letters of their respective surnames. Several albums were recorded and released through Chandos Records, on which the duo performed pieces by both famous classical (a.o. Bach, Mendelssohn, Ravel, whose works were arranged by Savery and Friis for two marimbas, or for marimba and vibraphone) and contemporary composers (a.o. Reich, Nørgård, Ter Veldhuis). Their performances of, especially, Ter Veldhuis' Goldrush, Ravel's Alborada del gracioso and Anders Koppel's Toccata for vibraphone and marimba are often labelled as small milestones by fellow percussionists[citation needed], as well as other musicians or people related to the world of classical music.
Jeremy Shu-How Lin (born August 23, 1988) is an American professional basketball player with the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After receiving no athletic scholarship offers out of high school and being undrafted out of college, the 2010 Harvard University graduate reached a partially guaranteed contract deal later that year with his hometown Golden State Warriors.
Lin seldom played in his rookie season and was assigned to the NBA Development League (D-League) three times. He was waived by the Warriors and the Houston Rockets the following preseason before joining the Knicks early in the 2011–12 season. He was again assigned to the D-League and continued to play sparingly. In February 2012, he unexpectedly led a winning streak by New York while being promoted to the starting lineup, which generated a global following known as Linsanity. Lin is one of the few Asian Americans in NBA history, and the first American of Chinese or Taiwanese descent to play in the league. He is known for his public expression of the Christian faith.
Phil Valentine is an American conservative talk radio show host in Nashville, Tennessee. He broadcasts daily on flagship station WWTN, a Cumulus Media station, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Central Time and is syndicated through Dial Global on over 110 radio stations. He is probably best known in Tennessee for leading protests against a state income tax.
Valentine is the son of former six-term Democratic U.S. Representative Tim Valentine of North Carolina, but is nonetheless a self-described conservative. His mother is the late Betsy Valentine who was killed in an auto accident one month shy of Valentine's 22nd birthday. He grew up in Nashville, North Carolina, and graduated from Northern Nash High School. After attending East Carolina University, he decided on a career in radio. ECU did not offer a broadcast major so Valentine left the university and enrolled in Carolina School of Broadcasting in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Valentine is the author of three books, The Conservative's Handbook, Right from the Heart: The ABC's of Reality in America, and Tax Revolt. Mr. Valentine was very active as a community organizer for the people of Tennessee to stop the passage of this bill against their wishes as citizens of that state. The Conservative's Handbook is a revision of Right from the Heart with new chapters and updated information. The foreword for both books was written by Sean Hannity.
Chorus:
'Cuz this girl
Has been played
She's cryng her heart out
Wasting away
Drowning her sorrows
With a painful tommorow
It wouldn't be so bad, she wouldn't be so sad
If he'd been remorseful
And not closed the doors full
Of anger and sayin'
That it's plain
It's her fault, and it won't happen again
Though he's the one who played
Shoulda been beggin' to stay
The whole neighbourhood heard him shout
It's not you any more, get out
There she sits
For a while
Nothing raising a smile
She's so cold deep inside
And she plays it again in her mind
Though she knows
That it's true
She keeps on trying to
Make believe
That it didn't happen and she never had to leave
Though it's easy for us to see he's not the one
For her to forget it's easier said than done
Chorus
She knows she should live and let die
But she died down inside
The scar ceases to heal
You can see in her eyes
She puts on a good act
She just smiles, gets a pat on the back
She doesn't have the energy
To resist all this sympathy
Why should she?
After all, it's good intentions
Why all the prevention?
And when everybody leaves
Oh, how her heart heaves
She longs for the man
The only man she ever loved
To be right here
Beside her
'Cuz she's besides her
Self with grief
Underneath
Chorus
It's a while
Since he left
No more pain
No more gain
Nothing more, nothing less
She decides
To search through their old stuff
'Cuz she'd had enough
Of waitin' to break the ice
She finds photos
And tapes of the songs
They'd listened to before he done wrong
In a box at the bottom
She'd almost forgotten
The music box
Left inside
Was a note
Which she read
She almost heard him spoke
'Dear Rizzo,
We've got to stop,
I know you're hot
But you've gotta understand
When I take you by the hand
A pang of guilt slashes across my chest
You know I can't forget the rest
You're the only one who knows
Which means you've gotta go
'Cuz they're on at me constantly
I think they're gonna guess
Shelly even found you're dress
And Hannah even hacked in on a phone call
Not like Rhianna who doesn't know a thing at all
I hope you find it somewhere
To forgive me
But now you're out of my hair
I don't really care
I loved you while you were mine
See you around sometime'
And that was it, it wasn't even signed,
But she recognised the writing,
And boy, was she fighting
The urge to break down and cry
And as she clutched the letter
She knew she coulda done better
Chorus
So I guess that guy ended up alone
So happy
I have lost my edge
So happy
I have lost my edge
So happy
I have lost my edge
FUCK YOU MAN!! Don't mean nothin' anymore...
FUCK YOU MAN!! Don't mean nothin' anymore..
I played it out, out, out, out...
I played it, out out out out!
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did...
So Happy
I have lost my edge...
HEY FUCK YOU MAN!
Don't mean nothing anymore
FUCK YOU MAN!
Don't mean nothing anymore
I played it out, out, out, out
I played it, out out out out!
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did...
*Make up the blush, Make it all tight?*
HEY FUCK YOU MAN!
Don't mean nothing anymore
FUCK YOU MAN!
Don't mean nothing anymore..
I played it out, out, out, out
I played it, out out out out!
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did
I'm big enough to make up for all that I never really did...
You played me for a fool you took me for a ride
I am not the one who will keep you close beside
I was a diamond in the rough
Now I'm scratches on a pearl
You could've had me shining
You could've had this girl
But you played me and deceived me
You played me for my money
Played me for a good time
Baby chased me when I was running
I don't want to say it but you probably gonna say it
How you played me for a fool how you broke a simple
rule
And I fell for your deception
I fell for your good looks
I fell for your sweet charm
But I should't have read those books
Hey yeah hey yeah hey yeah...
Never mess with matches cause you know you'll get burnt
You beat me once too easy but you know it won't be
twice
I could've set your night alright
But you never played me right
Boy you need direction to handle my affection
I don't want to say it (x4)
I don't wanna say it but you probably gonna say it too
How you played me for a fool
How you broke a simple rule (x2)
I fell for your deception
I fell for your good looks
I fell for your sweet charm
But I should't have read those books
Why you talking all that talk
Who you trying to impress
Think you better check your style
That might have worked before
but I ain't having it
Show me that you got the touch
Hear the words that I don't say
Gotta read between the lines
You gotta learn this song
Cause I wanna be played like a sweet guitar
Played like a slow jam in the dark
Gotta find the groove
You know what to do to get to me
I wanna be played like a violin
Make the strings talk with your finger tips
Never go to fast
Gotta understand
The way I need too be played
It's not about the way you roll
Your making it too obvious
Try to be original
You gotta learn me
Don't be in such a rush
I can be your symphony
Listen to me all night long
If you give me what I need
I could be your favorite song
I wanna be played like a sweet guitar
Played like a slow jam in the dark
Gotta find the groove
You know what to do to get to me
I wanna be played like a violin
Make the strings talk with your finger tips
Never go to fast
Gotta understand
The way I need too be played
You make it just like that
Come on do it again
We're going to get this right
Even if it takes all night
Do you feel me?
That's right
Take it nice and slow
I wanna be played like a sweet guitar
Played like a slow jam in the dark
Gotta find the groove
You know what to do to get to me
I wanna be played like a violin
Make the strings talk with your finger tips
Never go to fast

Lately I've noticed my time as a kid ticks away I'll always defend that Love is a virtue but timeless and fragile in it's own way It holds the world on its shoulders I'll tell you right now I can't always be here for you You think that you know me You came into my life and started something that you can't see through And now I'm calling the shots you know I am not just some slutty dumb girls fling I'm not as dumb as I seem I can't stop the fighting stop the anarchy Don't depend on me I know it seems that you run all the guys that you know Well you don't fucking know me Stop pretending that you can't give more than you show You know I won't always be here I am not just some slutty dumb girls fling I'm not as dumb as I seem I can't stop the fighting stop the anarchy Don't depend on me If you're not real then I can't be there by your side Can't even tell if its real when you look at me and cry Cause every time it seems just like another game This time I'm not gonna play
