Plot: Krishna (Vikram), who has the mental maturity of a five-year-old, works in a chocolate factory in Ooty. His wife delivers a baby girl and dies. The girl, Nila (Sara) is brought up in his own way by Krishna. He showers all his love and care on her. But fate takes a quick turn. Nila's grandfather Rajendran (Sachin Khedkar), a powerful and influential man in society, enters the scene. Fearing that his grand daughter is not safe under a mentally-challenged dad, he takes away the girl from Krishna. His other daughter Shwetha (Amala Paul) takes care of the child. Krishna runs from pillar to post to get back his daughter. He gets acquainted with advocate Anuradha (Anushka) and Vinod (Santhanam), her junior. They listen to Krishna's past and promise that they would do their best to get back the custody of Nila. Bashyam (Nasser), a leading advocate, appears for Rajendran. The rest is legal battle and arguments in court and who wins at last.

Plot: College goer Karunakaran (Arulnithi) always finds it difficult to adjust with the society that he lives. As a result he is unable to control his anger and often ends up with some trouble. His unpredictable behaviour become a constant worry for his mother and brother. A series of incidents forces him to leave his home town Madurai and as usual ends up in Chennai. Despite scoring high marks in school, he joins a local arts college in the city and stays in hostel from where the trouble begins. Now there is another story which goes parallel. While traveling from Bangalore to Chennai Assistant Commissioner Marimuthu (John Vijay), Inspector Rajendran (Madhu), Sub-Inspector Selvam (Balakrishnan) and cop Perumalsamy (Krishnamurthy) witnesses a car accident. When they are about to take the victim (son of Bangalore based business tycoon) to a nearby hospital, they comes across a huge stash of cash. The policemen kills the (half dead) victim and flees to Chennai with the money. Then the sincere police officer Palaniammal (Uma Riyaz Khan) who takes up this case. A cluster of lies, ego clash at the hostel and family's ignorance brings innocent Karunakaran into this crime plot. The rest is a racy roller-coaster ride that forms the climax.

Plot: In this story Kadarkarai the brother of Chellamma goes away with Sneha who gives all kinds of trouble to Kadarkarai's family and Chellamma. Sneha plans to kill Vadamalai Chellamma's husband but Chellamma arrives at the right time and beats up the goon elements chasing them away. She then admits her husband Vadamalai to hospital and saves him. In this half-murder case Kadarkarai is arrested and is sent to jail. Ratna Kadarkarai's daughter who loves him very much could not bear this she argues with all that her father could never have committed such a crime. Sneha sends a MMS in which Kadarkarai roars that he will kill Vadamalai. Seeing this video Rathna thinks that her father is the culprit and commits suicide. Chellama comes to see the body of Ratna but Kadarkarai's family is against her visit and is beaten by Kadarkarai's wife and sent out. But Sneha who is behind all these is accepted.
