Based on the true story of Zuzu Angel, a famous Brazilian fashion designer in the 70's, who searches for her son Stuart, a member of a leftist university group who suddenly disappears during the darkest era of Brazilian military regime and media censorship.

Zuzu Angel: [from trailer] Contempt is to forbid the sacred right of a mother to bury her son!
Stuart Angel: [a letter to his mother] Mom, you ask me if I believe in God. I ask you: what God? It has been my mission to show God inside of Man because only in man can He exist. There is not a poor or worthless man that seems to not have a mission. Every man by his own only influences the nature of his future. Through our lives we create actions that result in the multiplication of reactions. This power that we all have, this power of changing the course of History, that is the power of God. Confronted with this divine responsibility, I bow to the God inside of me.
Brigadeiro (Portuguese for Brigadier; also known in some southern Brazilian states as negrinho, literally "blackie") is a simple Brazilian chocolate bonbon, created in the 1940s and named after Brigadier Eduardo Gomes, whose shape is reminiscent of that of some varieties of chocolate truffles. It is a very popular candy in Brazil and in Portugal and it is usually served at birthday parties, but can also be found at any kind of party.
The candy is made by mixing sweetened condensed milk, butter and cocoa powder together. The mixture is then heated in a pan on the stove or in a microwave oven to obtain a smooth, sticky texture. It usually rolled into balls which are covered in granulated chocolate; that is the way brigadeiros are served at children's birthday parties. It can also be consumed unrolled, with a spoon or used as a topping or filling for cakes, brownies and other pastries.
Eduardo Gomes was a Brazilian Air Force brigadier who later he ran unsuccessfully for the presidency in 1946 and 1950. This was a time of shortage of traditional imports such as nuts and fruits because of the war. But, at the same time, Nestlé was introducing its brand of chocolate powder and condensed milk (known in Switzerland as Milch Mädchen) into the country.[citation needed]
Romero Britto (Recife, 6 October 1963) is a Brazilian Neo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work. Britto has lived in Miami, Florida since 1989. Shortly after Britto arrived in the United States, Michel Roux, founder of Absolut Vodka's Absolut Art Ad Campaign, happened by Britto's first studio in Coconut Grove, Florida. Roux quickly asked Britto to reinterpret the famous bottle, which would be published and seen by millions. Consistently challenging himself, Britto has completed other corporate works for Movado, Disney, Enrico Coveri, Pepsi, the United Nations, BMW and Royal Caribbean Cruises. Britto has one main art gallery in Miami, on South Beach on Lincoln Road.
Company commissions:
In light of the January 12th earthquake devastation in Haiti, Britto designed the logo for "Save Haiti Saturday", a nationwide relief effort on January 16, 2010, organized by Project Medishare.

Luiza Possi (born June 26, 1984) is a Brazilian pop singer. She is the daughter of another famous Brazilian singer, Zizi Possi.
In 1999, Luiza was invited to go on stage and sing a song with a band that was opening a show by Skank at Credicard Hall in São Paulo. The audience consisted of 12 thousand people, and the singer performed the song "O Vento", Jota Quest, backed only by a piano.
In 2001, Possi went with some bands playing in an informal way, until she participated in the Programa do Jô, beside her mother, Zizi Possi, which aired on Rede Globo, and performed the song "Angel" theme from the movie City of Angels. The next day she received multiple invitations to sign music contracts.[citation needed]
Luiza lived with her father, who was then president of Indie Records, and recorded her first album in 2001 under the production of Rick Bonadio. The album took the name of "I'm So" and produced two hits, "Same Day," which was her biggest hit. It was one of the most played in 2002, and the title track from the album is another great success, being subject of the novel Women Love, which was a huge hit with teenagers, and, at the time, the media said it had Luiza in a rivalry with two other pop singers of the time, Sandy and Leah Wanessa. In the same year she made her first national tour, and received several awards, which included the Award Multishow Brazilian Music Singer of Revelation. She became the co-host of Jovens Tardes on the Globo network in 2003.
Nothing ever goes right
I've made mistakes along the way
These times are hard and tough
I've had enough of rainy days
Lookin' over my life
I'm in the mood for a gambling chance
With some help from lady luck
I'll find a way to get through
I'll give it all the best I can do
Got nothin' to lose, whoa lose
I've had my share of bad times
Struggling dreams I left behind
Only seen the light
I'm just a lonely man who was blind
Lookin' over my life
I'm in the mood for a gambling chance
With some help from lady luck
I'll find a way to get through
I'll give it all the best I can do
Got nothin' to lose, whoa lose
Chorus:
Come give me a fight, fight!
Got nothin' to lose
Got a feelin' I'm right, right!
Got nothin' to lose
Nothin' to lose
Nothing ever goes right
I've made mistakes along the way
These times are hard and tough
I've had enough rainy days
Lookin' over my life
I'm in the mood for a gambling chance
With some help from lady luck
I'll find a way to get through
I'll give it all the best I can do
Got nothin' to lose, whoa lose
Come give me a fight, fight
Got nothin' to lose
Got a feelin' I'm right, right
Got nothin' to lose
Come give me a fight, fight
Got nothin' to lose
Got a feelin' I'm right, right
Got nothin' to lose
Come give me a fight, fight
Got nothin' to lose
Got a feelin' I'm right, right
Got nothin' to lose (I ain't got nothin' to lose)
Come give me a fight, fight
Got nothin' to lose
Got a feelin' I right, right (yeah yeah)
Got nothin' to lose
I ain't got nothin' to lose
Come give me a fight, fight (oh oh)
Got nothin' to lose
I got married it was out of fright
She said yes, I didn't wanna fight
I got bruises up and down my arm
That woman loves to do me harm
Oh baby, well I got me the mean woman blues
Now listen this is just the way it happened
I went out to have a drink with the boys
I wasn't breaking the law
I came home I didn't make much noise
She hit me right smack in the jaw
Well the next thing I know here comes a table and chair
I fell down she picked me up by the hair
She said, I know you're out seein' some whore
And I'm gonna even the score
Baby alright
Oh you know that woman loves to fight
Lord she can kick, scratch and bite
Got me shaking all night
Oh baby, well I got me the mean woman blues
She got a heart that's cold as ice
You cross her once, you won't cross her twice
There's no tellin' once her mind is made
It's like steppin' on a hand grenade
Oh baby, well I got me the mean woman blues
Now listen up
I went out for a walk in the park
Just gettin' some air
I came home, and it was just after dark
She met me at the top of the stairs
Well the next thing I know she began to wail
I went flyin' somewhere over the rail
She said I know you're out doing me wrong
But honey it won't be for long
So baby sit down
She said you and me are gonna have another round
She said in this house female brutality
Has become a reality
I said WOW!
Oh baby alright
Oh you know that woman loves to fight
She can kick, scratch, and bite
Got me shaking all night
Oh baby, well I got me the mean woman blues
I got married, it was out of fright
She said yes, I didn't wanna fight
I got bruises up and down my arm
That woman loves to do me harm
Oh baby, well I got me the mean woman blues
Now tell me if you think this is fair
I went out to have a drink with the boys
I wasn't breaking the law
I came home I didn't make much noise
She hit me right smack in the jaw
Well the next thing I know here comes a table and chair
I fell down she picked me up by the hair
She said, I know you're out seein' some whore
And I'm gonna even the score
So baby sit down
She said you and me are gonna have another round, sucker
She said in this house female brutality
Has become a reality
I said WOW!
Oh baby, now enough is enough
Now put down that hammer honey please
YEAH
Hard luck
Baby you can never tell
About the service in a wishing well
You pay your dime, and you take a chance
Your heart is wide open for a taste of romance
Hard Luck
Stories everywhere I go
But it's too late momma and I want you to know
It's the same old story, it's the same old song
About a bonafide woman and a man who went wrong
Chorus:
Hard luck
'Bout your broken romance
Hard luck
You won't get a second chance
Hard luck
Seems you ran outta love
Hard luck
Woman you can't get enough, yeah yeah
Hard luck Baby did you ever feel
That love is a car and your under the wheel
You had to try, but you went too fast
And tried to start something that you knew wouldn't last
(Chorus)
At 5 'o clock in the morning
I know it's you on the line
You say it's hurtin' me so bad
You're really leavin' this time
Another woman when I asked her advice
She said, "You've got to learn how to survive."
Oh yeah yeah yeah
Hard luck
Baby you can never tell
About the service in a wishing well
It hurts bad then you finally learn
If your heart is on fire, you're gonna get burned
(Chorus)
Hard luck
Baby baby baby
Your hard luck (hard luck)
Yeah yeah yeah
Hard luck woo come on, yeah yeah
Hard luck woman (oh oh oh)
Hard luck
Baby baby baby come on
Hard luck oh yeah
Hard luck woo woo yeah yeah
Lost in a life of luxury
Livin' out all your fantasies
I've been down since you went away
It wasn't love, but it felt okay
My head is numb, I've been up all night
I stood there seein' the mornin' light
Can't explain what I feel inside
I wanna run and I wanna hide
My shattered hopes on the telephone line
I hope you're picking it up this time
It's only dreams that I hold onto
Dreams are all that I had with you
Chorus:
Memories and dreams of love
Days I had with you
I never thought it'd be so tough
To feel the way I do
Over you
Livin' high and without a care
You and I we were almost there
Can't explain what it meant to me
Every night was a fantasy
I've been down since you went away
It wasn't love, but it felt okay
Lookin' out in the mornin' light
Was it only a dream that night
(Chorus) x2
Lost in a life of luxury
Livin' out all your fantasies
I've been down since you went away
It wasn't love, but it felt okay
My head is numb, I've been up all night
I stood there seein' the mornin' light
Can't explain what I feel inside
I wanna run and I wanna hide
My shattered hopes on the telephone line
I hope you're picking it up this time
It's only dreams that I hold onto
Dreams are all that I had with you
Dreams are all that I had with you
Dreams are all that I had with you
Lost and lonely
It's been a cold cold world
Need you near me
It's been a long time girl
Can't you hear me
It's a cold cold world
This time, I want you back
My life is turning black
Chorus:
Here I go
Feeling low
It's so cold
To be alone
Memories
All the way yeah
And I'm holding on tight
Steady me
I gotta love ya tonight
Deep desire
It's what you give me, girl
This time, I want you back
My life is turning black
(Chorus)
Memories
Only want one feeling
It's what you gave to me
Give it back to me!
Light the way
You gotta see me through
Every day
It's what I want with you
Cold cold world
It's what I'm going through
This time, I want you back
My life is turning black
(Chorus)
Lost and lonely
It's been a cold cold world
Need you near me
It's been a long time girl
Allright!
Cold cold world
Yeah
I can see you wanna sit down
When (?) funk is going on
Just playing (?) with your little chair
Like your mind ain't even here
Just give it a little push
Go on, go let yourself get lose!
Take that funk inside of you
And make your body move!
[Chorus]
Get up!
Time to release the beast!
Time is right to do it tonight
To tip-toe down the wall
Everyone get in the groove
We're about to have some fun
C'mon, give it a l'll push
Give it up on the floor
All I wanna do is dance with you
Gonna funk your mind some more!
[Chorus]
