Plot
Based on the novel of the same name by Maurice Druon, Les Rois maudits (The Cursed Kings) is the second television adaptation of this seven-volume book which is widely agreed to be an accurate representation of actual events. It is the early 1300's and the treasury of France, under the rule of Philippe IV (Philippe le Bel or Philippe the Beautiful), is empty. The king decides the only solution is to raid the treasures of the Knights Templar (amongst others) and concocts various charges of treason, heresy and deviance against the Knights and their Grand Master Jacques de Molay. Having confessed under torture to the crimes of which he is accused, de Molay is condemned to be burned at the stake. With his dying breath he curses the king, the king's advisor (Guillaume de Nogaret), the pope (Pope Clement V) and the thirteen succeeding generations of their families. There follows one of the most dramatic periods in French history, half a century of political intrigue, murder, treason, war and famine, which ultimately culminates in the 100 Years War.

A count (male) or countess (female) is an aristocratic nobleman in European countries. The word count came into English from the French comte, itself from Latin comes—in its accusative comitem—meaning "companion", and later "companion of the emperor, delegate of the emperor". The adjective form of the word is "comital". The British and Irish equivalent is an earl (whose wife is a "countess", for lack of an English term). Alternative names for the "Count" rank in the nobility structure are used in other countries, such as Graf in Germany, Graaf in the Netherlands and Hakushaku during the Japanese Imperial era.
In the late Roman Empire, the Latin title comes meaning (imperial) "companion" denoted the high rank of various courtiers and provincial officials, either military or administrative: before Anthemius was made emperor in the West in 467, he was military comes charged with strengthening defenses on the Danube frontier.
In the Western Roman Empire Count came to generically indicate a military commander, but was not a specific rank. In the Eastern Roman Empire, from about the seventh century, a count was a specific rank indicating the commander of two centuries (i.e. 200 men).
Peter Gene Hernandez (born October 8, 1985), better known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii by a family of musicians, Mars began making music at a young age. He performed in various musical venues in his hometown throughout his childhood. He graduated from high school and then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a musical career. Mars produced songs for other artists, joining production team The Smeezingtons.
Mars had an unsuccessful stint with Motown Records, but then signed with Atlantic Records in 2009. He became recognized as a solo artist after lending his vocals and co-writing the hooks for the songs "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B, and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy. He also co-wrote the hits "Right Round" by Flo Rida featuring Ke$ha, and "Wavin' Flag" by K'naan. In October 2010, he released his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Anchored by the worldwide number-one singles "Just the Way You Are" and "Grenade", the album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. Mark D, born Mark Randall, is a British artist and punk musician (guitarist and songwriter). He is also associated with the Stuckist group of artists.
Mark D was born and spent his childhood in Peterborough. He now lives in Nottingham. From university onwards, Mark D (D standing for "degenerate") played in various bands including the Fat Tulips, Confetti (when he was known as David), the Pleasure Heads (when he was known as Mark Randyhead), Oscar, Servalan and Sundress, and appeared on dozens of releases. He published and edited fanzines, including the underground C86 fanzine Two Pint Take Home. He is a co-owner of Heaven Records.
The Fat Tulips were formed in 1987 and have been described as "incredibly skilled in the art of buzzing electric guitars, ferocious tempos, pristine pop melodies and lyrics that weren’t nearly as sweet as they sounded at first listen."
A few years after the Fat Tulips broke up in the mid-1990s, he started a dealership in art and antiques with his wife, Tully, focusing on work from the 1960s and 1970s, including John Piper, Stig Lindberg, Lucienne Day and John Clappison.
Kurt Schneider (7 January 1887 – 27 October 1967) was a German psychiatrist known largely for his writing on the diagnosis and understanding of schizophrenia, as well as personality disorders then known as psychopathic personalities.
Schneider was born in Crailsheim, Kingdom of Württemberg, and trained in medicine in Berlin and Tübingen. He was drafted for and completed military service in World War I and later obtained a postgraduate qualification in psychiatry. In 1931 he became director of the German Psychiatric Research Institute in Munich, which was previously founded by Emil Kraepelin.
Disgusted by the developing tide of psychiatric eugenics championed by the Nazi Party, Schneider left the institute (when?) and served as an army doctor (for who?) during World War II. After the war, anti-Nazi academics were appointed to serve in, and rebuild Germany's medical institutions and Schneider was given the post of Dean of the Medical School at Heidelberg University. Schneider kept this post until his retirement in 1955.

Despite its negative critical reception, Over the Rainbow has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide and reached number one in three countries. Since the initial album release, Talbot has performed publicly and on television in Europe, the U.S. and across Asia, where her music had gained recognition through YouTube. Her second album, Connie Talbot's Christmas Album, was released on 24 November 2008; her third, Holiday Magic, was released in late 2009. While pursuing her musical career, Talbot attends school, and lives in Streetly with her family.
Yeah, oh why, why
You didn't have to leave me baby
See I called you today
No one picked up the phone
As fast as I could girl I ran to your home
When I arrived to my surprise
You were gone, oh babe
Your neighbor informed me
That you moved away
How could you not tell me
And leave me this way
With no goodbyes and crying eyes
I wish you would have stayed
So I count every second
I count every minute
That you are away from me
I just can't take it oh why
Can't I get with you
So I count every second
I count every minute
That you are away from me
I just can't take it oh why
Can't I get with you
Things won't be the same
There's no me without you
For the rest of my life
I'll be searching for you
On first love don't know how much
I'll miss you yeah
There are lessons in love
And I've learned my first one
My mom says get ready
I've got more to come
But I can't take no more heartache
I want you
So I count every second
I count every minute
That you are away from me
I just can't take it oh why
Can't I get with you
So I count every second
I count every minute
That you are away from me
I just can't take it oh why
Can't I get with you
So we made a promise, a promise
A promise (Yes we did oh)
It's all good baby (It's alright)
It's alright baby (yeah it's alright)
(Because I'm missing the first time)
It was so innocent baby, yes it was
The first time oh my very first time
That we kissed oh baby yeah
Like this yeah
(That we kissed like this)
So I count every second
I count every minute
That you are away from me
I just can't take it oh why
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
I can count, how 'bout you?
you think your cool,
Looking at it now I'm seeing things I could not see
When I was making plans
Gone are the days when I had to go away
To find some peace
So I won't be mad if my heart stops
And I'm shy a dream come true
Cause I know that I can always count on you to cause
Cause a little drama
Cause a little trouble
Cause a little heartbreak
Cause a little mindfuck
Cause a little stir
I know that I can always count on you
Scratch your days in the wall.
Count your nights like the friends that never call.
Peel the skin from your fingers 'til there's nothing at all.
You can tell by this mess that this is something you never through you'd
Miss.
Is it breaking you down or just breaking your fall?
Oh-oh it's too early to call.
Whoo-oh-oh it's too early to call.
Cause I'm going blind from staring at my feet
You don't be alarmed when you can't find the company I keep.
Keep you ear to ground, ignore the sound of it only getting worse,
And crack a smile if it won't crack you first.
Dead-end year spent waiting for a break you don't deserve.
Cause I'm going blind from staring at my feet
You don't be alarmed when you can't find the company I keep.
'Cause I don't mind these fingernails stuck between my teeth,
I'll cross my fingers and pray that they don't break.
I'll pray that I don't one day point them towards the mirror-glass,
And wonder who I see staring back at me!
One day
Who I am
And what I lack
Won't be the same thing
Won't be the same thing
Won't be the same thing.
Cause I'm going blind from staring at my feet
You don't be alarmed when you can't find the company I keep.
'Cause I don't mind these fingernails stuck between my teeth,
I'll cross my fingers and pray that they don't break.
