Douglas Evans or Doug Evans may refer to:
Douglas Edwards Evans (born May 13, 1970 in Shreveport, Louisiana) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 6th round (141 overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft out of Louisiana Tech. Evans also played for the Carolina Panthers, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Detroit Lions.
Douglas Evans (born October 10, 1980) is an American mixed martial artist who resides in Anchorage, Alaska. He competes in the Featherweight division, and is best known for the first round of his fight against Thierry Quenneville, which was named Sherdog's 2009 Round of the Year.
Evans made his professional MMA debut in February 1999. He quickly established an impressive 6-1 record while fighting in his native Alaska and one fight in California. This drew the attention of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and he was signed with the company in 2007.
Evans made his UFC debut in June 2007, fighting Roger Huerta at The Ultimate Fighter 5 Finale. He lost the fight via TKO.
In his second UFC fight, Evans faced Mark Bocek at UFC 79. He lost the fight via unanimous decision and was subsequently released from the promotion.
